Bird trash talking stories never get old, they keep you laughing.
mouse in the house LOL
Facts 😂
You can't make that type of stuff up. Lol😅
I Love these stories
@@marineldnickerson6408 Me too
"Mouse in the house!"
That had me weak🤣🤣🤣
"Mouse in the house" was a play call for when Larry was not being double teamed
@@matthewortenzio4365 Yes cause when the world needed him most, he gave us the answers we were kinda sorta looking for.
You know how disrespectful that is to say to someone taller than lmbo
"I got size on you, I been watching every move" before that 😂😂😂😂😂
@@ManuelB777 Not very, kinda baseline trash talk for basketball.
"Larry can't run or jump cause that was God's way of making things fair." - Sir Charles Barkley
Hell, I remember Bird admitting many times he couldn't jump and he was slow, but "but it don't matter."
Larry was the truth. High basketball IQ. Plus he was never scared 💯
I love this it's crazy eh , respect has no color , think people , please ❤
"Ah... you better ask for a double team brah"... 😁😁
ROFL! I thought the same thing.
Lmao Bird was that dude
😭🤣🤣😭😭💀
😂😂😂😂
And that was The Pistons who were one the Monsters of the Midwest nobody wanted to play the Pistons!! And rightfully so lol but Larry was a Hitman!!
Him wearing warm-ups in the 3 point contest is what legends are made of!
he also said...who here is coming in 2nd place?
@@robertswift6101 He actually went to the locker room and said "which one of you muthaf***as comin in second place"
@@robertswift6101Have you heard the Christmas Chuck "Rifelman" Person story?
@@17thNOI did lol
@@17thNO best one was Utah Jazz asking coach Frank Layden "don't you have anyone who can guard me?". Frank looks down at his bench, looks up at Bird and simply and sadly says "No". That's funny, Frank was so honest with that
Bird was the nicest guy in basketball, he warned you every time that you were outmatched.
😂😂
That was, ...ALWAYS even MJ couldnt touch him
😂 And telling them the plays. Most conciderate player in nba history imho.
Facts 😂😂😂 insane confidence and savagery
Can't stop smiling when I here these Bird Stories
Larry's been getting alot of love lately
Mhmm, I noticed- what's up with that? Certainly NOT that it's wrong or anything.
Always got love just you youngsters are finally hearing
@@Ultamami current NBA is boring as fk so they rolling out old content
And well deserved
True. It's probably a response to the lack of respect he gets from a lot of the younger players who can't appreciate how good he was.
If you didn't double team Larry he took it personal!
OR If opposing Coach sent a PALE dude to guard him. 😅😅😅
Or when the so called g.o.a.t took it personal against larry legend, he ended up 0-6 in the playoffs😂🤣
@@deancafe4739 People like you kill me with your ignorance! It's no shame to lose to Larry Bird he was that good! Michael didn't have the team that Larry had! So, yeah he lost to a very talented Boston Celtics with one of the all time greats at the helm, Larry Bird! No team that didn't have a set of good players could beat Larry! Magic had Kareem, Worth, and Cooper and still lost to Larry! Isiah had Dennis Rodman, Joe Dumars, John Sally and Bill Lambier and still lost to Larry! Larry was that brick wall! Michael Jordan was supposed to lose to Larry, with All Stars Danny Ainge, Bill Walton, Kevin Mchale, and Dennis Johnson! Boston's entire starting lineup were All-Stars! Michael had Charles Oakley and Orlando Woolridge! So yeah "The So Called Goat Lost! However, he did go onto win 6 titles without a loss in the finals! He is a GOAT but then so is Larry! Larry lost to Magic and the Lakers, Larry Lost to Isiah and the Pistons! So shut up!
@Dean Cafe Wow bud Jordan's living rent-free in your head.
Facts bro, they dont make them larry anymore and even when they did it was in short supply
Loved watching Larry Bird play even when he was on the opposing team. You got to give respect when it's deserved.
I was stationed in San Antonio for my basic training in the Air Force & we got tickets to go see the Spurs play the Celtics. Using the opportunity to call home on the pay phone & not realizing I was in the tunnel to the Celtics locker room, Larry Bird & the rest of the team walked by within a few feet of me! I froze in awe, the man was a giant compared to my 5' 5". After they were gone I whispered to my Mom, I just saw Larry Bird! It was an honor to get to see him play in person.
You were also honored to see them Big Ol Women of San Antonio in person!
It's nice to see great players say nice words of Larry. He was a trash talker, but he had their respect.
All these stories are of him trash talking in regards to the game. Doesn’t seem like he was ever making personal attacks.
@@nicholasbullock1709I
@@nicholasbullock1709it was all about how good he was, because he was that good. His appearance made it even more effective, he didn't look like he should be that good.

He's called Larry Legend, enough said!!
It's cool hearing all these great players recognizing Larry Bird. There were a lot of great players in those days.
“Mouse in the house.” Who does that? That’s a classy response! Larry was quick on his feet with timely comical lines! 😅

Larry Bird was next level special. The man could shoot your eye out!

Only Larry has these types of stories…greatest player and teammate I ever saw, and of course my all time favorite player, easily
Bird was something special.
The best ever
"Better ask for that double-team,Brah."🧐🙏🏽
Bird is a Promise maker not a trash talker. Trash talkers can't always back it up but Bird always did and he kept those promises.
When you're not even dead yet and they're talking up on you. L-E-G-E-N-D.
I love these stories of Larry Bird! They are like tall tales. I miss the old NBA.
Now this is old school basketball got to love it Larry Bird's a legend
Telling you “u shoulda double teamed” after a double jab to fadeaway is crazy
Those days were FUN watching Larry!!!
I love these stories. He has a gift that keeps on giving
Listening to great players having fun and telling stories never gets old.
Larry “Freakin’” Bird 💪🏀🍀
Man, I love to hear these Larry Bird stories!
Met Salley the other day he came through my work and I scanned his groceries. Dope dude. Wasn’t super familiar with his career and I asked who he played for and he started with his college career and then told me ab his time in the league. Rlly genuine dude
I loved watching Sal back in the day, always seemed a great guy
Bird 🐦 🦜 wasn't never scared
The stories former NBA
players are saying, so funny and amazing and the respect, love it.
They are hilarious.
They had so much respect for each other and fought
4Real
The eighties were the best years in the NBA. Glad I got to see it all.
I’ve never heard so many great players praise another b-ball player from the heart the way these guys are for Larry Legend. Respect.
Larry Legend is un disputed GOAT when it comes to trash talking stories. Nobody else is even close. His stories are epic bc a) they come from NBA players themselves (many from HOF-ers too) and b) bc they’re true!!!
Just think what could have been if he didn't jack up his back putting in a driveway for his momma one off-season. Just remember MJ sent him a thank you card when he retired.
And c) They're funny.
and d) trash talks but he backs it up
E) Gets offended when guarded by a white man. He said he was offended they didn't have a brother on him. 😂 Only he could get away with that. E-2) He also gets offended if the opposing team does not double team him. Again, who does that but Larry "The Legend" Bird!!! 🏀 🐦 🏆 🍀 💚 😂

His work ethic was so great!
Larry would be goat level in todays game, kids today don’t even understand
GOAT level in ANY era 👍🏾
Legendary Larry bird meant & did everything he said
mouse in the house😂😂😂
Mouse in the house! Cracks me up lol
I haven't watched any other NBA player that was more dedicated to the game than Bird. He took his job serious and imporoved every year. He supported his team mates and played as a team member. He wasn't flashy at all. He was just damn good.
They need a documentary about Larry Byrd. Classic.
Respect to one of the greatest player’s to ever play this game…. This is coming from a diehard Laker fan, Los Angeles native who grew up watching the Celtics & Laker rivalry in the 80’s

Bird was the most feared in the 80’s

Real talk!
he aint trash talkin, he fact talkin
“Here’s what I’m about to do, and there’s nothing you can do to stop me” that’s Larry Bird
Larry Bird stories are the best stories of any player who ever played. I can watch Bird stories 24/7..
Larry Legend indeed!!
Indeed, they just keep adding to the legend
This is why I love Larry. People talk about how Jordan was a menace doing that, Larry is who he got that aspect of his game from.
Jordan was always competitive, but Larry showed him the potency of talking trash and backing it up.
Mj wasn't much of a trash talker. Most of the time he let his game do the talking
Jordan about Larry, "Larry was a fucking problem" Thats respect
@Lonnie Knight MJ the the biggest offensive fouler in the league and never call out about it! The ref's helped make him a star!!!

These stories about Larry counting dribbles and moving in specific directions is crazy
The comments from all these players just show you their love for the game and their respect for Larry. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is.
Back in the day, I was a huge Lakers fan and hated the Celtics. But it's hysterical to hear these guys talk about Bird.
Larry was so great that he actually gets better the more players you have to compare him with each year.
My all time favorite athlete.....
It is not trash talk when he is telling you the play before its about to happen. Thats just filthy! I love it!
The way Spider kept looking impersonating Bird was hilarious 😆😆
If you back it up … it ain’t trash
It’s Gold.
watching Larry back in the day was fun as hell but these stories tie it all together. I truly hope I get a chance to meet him in person some day.
I'm happy to finally see people recognizing him
And they all tell a similar story. Larry Legend!
Larry Bird reaching Chuck Norris level…Chuck Norris reaching Larry Bird level.
Larry bird had me rooting for him from TX. He was a hell of a player
You can't have these stories about the greatest if you don't talk about Larry Bird. I been saying this since the 80's. Him and magic was who I watched outside of Dr J. Then came Mike, then came Iverson that's my watch list. When Mike was out I was watching Kobe. Stockton and Malone was just dope to watch.
Bird and Magic revolutionized the game.
MJ elevated it to the stratosphere.
MJ isn't MJ without those two coming ahead of him 💯
Larry Legend was a badass! 🏀🏀🏀
The respect the player's of that time had for each other is what legends are made of there's no of today that would dare speak like that bird was a master mad scientist of basketball respect to the 80's and 90's when men played a kids game for real 💯 %

Can anybody honestly say that LeBron can tell his opponent exactly what the play is going to be and exactly what he's going to do then pull it off? Bird wasn't trash talking, he was just telling it like it is.
Who said anything about Lebron? Did Jordan do what Bird did? Did Kobe? Leave Lebron out of 80s memories! He wasn't there playing
@@Jason-ek5ri Ya man people bring up LeBron for no goddamn reason. It's honestly pathetic. Any chance to be a hater I suppose.
LeBron James and Larry Bird are both Small Forward's, gentlemen, hence the comparison

@@Jason-ek5ri they are both small forwards yet some people want to compare LeBron and Jordan when he isn't even the best small forwards ever play. LeBron's name gets brought up because his fans act like he's the goat
Bird was a testimony to why the whole "size" and "athleticism" argument for best ever doesn't matter. It's all about their impact on the game. Bird was a game changer and should be listed as one of the best of all time and one of the greatest SF ever.
😂😂 Ehh you do realize Bird was a legit 6'9"-9.5" right? Even now after decades of spinal compression & slouching he's still taller than Dwight Howard.
@@johnhenry2903 do some research on the average NBA player height when weighed by playing time. The average NBA starter and rotational players have gotten smaller while the bench players have increased in size.

Bird was a joy to watch. He almost knew where ball was going on rebounds. Impeccable shooting ability. Bird was one of the best to play the game. And I wasn’t a big Celtics fan but, still fun to watch teams try to stop him.

Larry Bird was a killer! Was smarter than everyone else on the court. Legend..
🤣🤣🤣 Larry legend And none of these players today cudnt do nothing vs him he was just that damn good and he played with and vs legends
When you can tell opponents exactly what you are going to do and then do, 100% proves he is athletic.
It totally eliminates any and ALL arguments about him being unathletic. Case closed.
You can’t argue it
