Sar Dauk he isnt a space marine so would lack alot of their natural strengths and abilities. The inquisitor although no base human.. he is still normal for the most part.
I like the way This animation does The Plague Marines. When you think about it. Plague Marines are basically zombies. They’re in a constant state of bliss, there bodies are quite literally rotten and decayed. The only thing that’s actually really allowing their bodies to move is warp power. Them stumbling around with their weapons like zombies actually makes sense.
I think they put more effort into that "For the Emperor!" than people think. The inquisitor is clunking around in large armor and has already been fighting for quite awhile. It sounds like a winded rallying cry, and you can hear the soldier around him echo him but theirs' have a slight worried tone to them which is understandable when facing Nurglelite walking diseases and flesh monsters.
I tought it was perfect. It tells that they're tired and winded but still willing to fight on. It isn't some over the top epic shout but more of a grim proclamation.
" For the Emperor!" I freaking loved that part. The statement along with the slight backwards step ruminated with charisma and enthusiasm for the fight. Alot of people are commenting on the quality/ volume of the statement when the Inquisitor said it at the end. I think it fit with the setting and also the character. He's not an Astartes, his voice isn't powered by three lungs and an genetically altered voice box. Plus they are in a large room. With things like this, I don't understand why GW seriously doesn't make short movies. They would make so much money off of it! They may be worried that the profit won't match the production costs ( or actually might be certain of this) but I would urge Games Workshop to try, just once, a 45 minute 40k short in this style. The community would love it.
RIP every Inquisitor too. Fighting Nurgle deamons and the Death Guard, plus a massive Chaos Spawn....I mean....if you are not back by Great Knights or veteran space marines , you are fuck. At least, they hold the fucking line for the Emperor, their existence are fulfill.
The problem with a 40k movie is how you tell a compelling and comprehensible narrative movie in ~2 hours. 40k's lore is vast. Similarly, many of its characters are totally unrelatable. The best bet might be something like adapting Gaunt's Ghosts, but even then what do you really get at the end of it? Only two hours means you probably end up with a superficial, campy, generic-seeming action/sci-fi flick. While we all love 40k and think it's great, the average audience would be confused and disinterested by any of the plots we are likely to conjure up.

See I love the Nurgle elements, the Plague Marines, and the overall quality of the animation, but ironically I'm least sold by the Inquisitor himself. He moves with motions that don't seem heavy or ponderous. He moves...awkwardly, like he's trying on the suit for the first time. Strangely, his motions seemed to fit a Plague Marine. I'll also say that his voice isn't very intimidating. It sounds like the voice actor was phoning it in, and hard. I have high hopes for the game itself, but it's going to be rough if this version of the Inquisitor is all we get. A great voice actor to look for who'd fit the role perfectly would be Euan Morton.
