Funny how despite the censorship, you could still put a female head on a topless torso in Lego Indy 2's character customizer. Something I actually did as a teenager.
I actually never noticed these changes at all when I played Lego Indiana Jones as a kid. And even after watching this, I'm perfectly okay with these changes that the studio made. For me personally, these are all just minor changes.
The only redeeming qualities lego Indiana Jones 2 had were the level builder , introduction to split screen, and a Last Crusade level based off the scene where Indiana Jones gets the Cross of Coronado on a ship in the Portuguese coast.

I would love an updated version of LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures ( Video Game ) with some updated changes, Young Indy ( Bonus Level ) being added in the Last Crusade, and 3 levels from Indiana Jones 2 being added into one of the levels of the 2 original films as part of it that were in the films. The Last Crusade is the longest one with the most levels. Despite all the censorship in these games, there's still some stuff that is kinda still too much. One character freaking explodes, another is crushed, and then there's the book burnings even though the Nazi imagery is already censored.
This is done in literally EVERY Lego game based on a movie. Genaro, Nedry and Muldoon manage to narrowly escape, Wormtail simply pops his hand off, and Oliver Sansweet was removed from the plot entirely.
Every time I see that scene in Lego Indiana Jones. I picture the night having Mr. Krabs voice giggling and laughing saying look at him choke instead of saying he chose poorly
They cut out the horse chase for Lego raiders of the lost ark. And Indy is supposed to be wearing his jacket when fighting the soldier at the plane and while chasing the truck containing the ark.
I mean, it’s literally not. The film treats Hindu’s with utmost respect . The followers of Shiva are portrayed as kind and humble. If you are referring to the Thugee, they were obviously shown as sacrilegious and sinister. There is literally a deleted dinner scene of Indiana pointing out that the Hindu’s would never eat such foul things (clearly showing that the people of the palace are not the norm and are evil) What about it is “problematic” ? They treat their culture with respect. Please do not ever use that word again, hop off twitter and get a grip
