@@haouamehdi-cf6xw PS2 version has LOWER resolution, LOWER framerate, LOWER quality textures, LOWER quality sound, LOWER quality lighting and shadows... Clean your glasses. lol
Perhaps the biggest difference between the two versions is that GameCube runs at 60 FPS while PS2 runs at just 30.

As someone looking to pick up a copy, this video along with your comment is appreciated. I like the fact you brought up the control scheme. Imo, the GameCube controller just isn't designed well for shooters to begin with. Definitely more for platformers and fighting games. With that being said, I'm still leaning towards the GameCube version just for how much better it performs overall. Honestly the only thing holding me back is the price. GC versions go for something like five times more than the PS2 version.

Gamecube is 60FPS and has better sound quality.
The only thing PS2 has over Gamecube is broadband, which isn't a big deal these days when netplay exists.

Serious Sam: Next Encounter should have come out for Xbox. The reason why this was such a big missed opportunity is that the game had some interesting toss-ups between the platforms. As we probably all know, the GameCube version ran at 60 FPS, supported 4 player split screen, and had superior visuals to those seen in the PS2 version. The PS2 version only ran at 30 FPS, supported 2 player split screen at best, and had inferior visuals and sound effects, but it had online multiplayer for up to 8 players (which still works btw). Had the Xbox version existed, it would have had the 60 FPS gameplay and 4-player split screen of the GameCube version, and online multiplayer/system link support, as well as having superior visuals to the other two versions.
I like both bro, but if I have to choose one I prefer the Gamecube version, bro, hehe.. Btw great bro, nice video!! 👍

Однозначно версия на Game Cube во многом лучше PS2, но удивительно что в некоторых моментах, на PS2 текстуры и какие-то детали выглядят лучше, чётче, например та же бензопила, освещение правильнее, на GC местами темновато и теряются некоторые детали.

Currently playing through the ps2 version on original hardware. Looks a lot less terrible when its not on an HD tv luckily.

Both look very similar with the Gamecube version having a yellow tint. The textures on Gamecube sometimes look more washed out thanks to very strong mipmapping happenning close to the camera. Enemy explosions also seems to be less detailed on Gamecube.
At least it has better sound quality and performance
