9:26 🤩🤩🤩 hello vacina favorita 😍 lots of good work going into those cymbidiums, no wonder that your's are so impressive! Hope you had yourself a beautiful day and a lovely beverage after these repottings 🥰
Hi dear Nina, Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏💖Cymbidium are so easy to repot, they almost always have wonderful roots so they do not give me any concern. And they are easy orchids, give them some water and fertilizer and they play their role producing nice spikes. I have 3 that did not give me flowers this year though but they will, when they are ready. Hope you are already having the sun shining over your patios for a marvellous SUNday 😍🤗
Good day. Sharing my support Im a new friend here now . See you at my Home. wishing you success and more additional true friends to come God Bless Us Always
Wow, such magnificent, beautiful flowers. I always appreciate all your care tips, I only have one in my collection and when I divided it last year I lost a bunch but now some new young growth are coming out.
I don't like dividing them as it happened the same to me in the past. I divided a very large one three years ago and I removed the leafless PSB and ended up with 3 pieces. They took very long to pick up again and it might take very long to see blooms again 😁. So, avoiding to divide at all costs 🤣 Happy evening, Primrose 😍❤️
Hello....FN. You have plenty of beautiful Cyimbidium Orchids...Congratulations...FN. I have 2 pots of unhealthy Cyimbidium Orchids....i am sad😔 Thank you for sharing...FN..😍 😍 😍 Happy weekend to you and family. Greetings from Zaleha. I am sending more love💕💞💕to your lovely Cyimvidium...FN 😘
🙋♀️ Thank you very much for your lovely comment dear Zaleha 🙏 I am sad to hear about your Cymbidium. Anyway I can help with? If so please tell me in a comment. I hope you and your family are having a nice, cosy and relaxed weekend. Much love to you and your orchids and other plants 🙌😍🥰
@@FernandaNascimentoOrchids I am sad too...😔 I think i am going to replant my Cyimbidium Orchids...What potting mix is best for Cyimbidium Orchids...FN? Thank you for your kind words...FN. 😘
@@zalehaburude7752Hi dear Zaleha ❤️ It should be a well draining soil especially if they get a lot of rain. I always use a mix of bark, perlite, gravel, leca and peat. They also like to have a dry season with drop in temperature. I hope this helps. If further help needed please let me know how is your climate and if your Cymbidium are hybrids or species. In case they are species it would help to know which species, that is if you have an ID ❤️😍🙌🥰

I just got mine outside, it's still a bit chilly at night but no longer lower then 10 degrees. I can't wait to try out the cold water trick end of year 😁
I have always 🥰 your cymbidium colors, although I don’t wanna grow them myself. But I’ll also take any amount of dirt, water and even a slip in the ☔️ just to get it all repotting over with and my OCD put-to rest 🤭.
Hi Anishka !!! We cannot grow them all, there are so many beautiful plants. Cymbidium do very well for me. I wish I could have more but no more suitable place, They could do well in the ground as well but all the space I have is in full sun and they like some shade at midday. I hope you are having a great weekend and thank you very much for your lovely comment 🙏💖😍
Hello from your friend in Australia, our Autumn here is dry, dry, my husband has to feed hay to our sheep morning and night as there is not a blade of grass for them and lots of deep cracks in the paddocks. Nights are getting cooler. I admire so much your meticulous and obviously successful repotting. No one could go wrong if they follow your instructions. Excellent filming. I loved that you rescued the spider- we get mouse spiders in the ground in my garden- yes they are the size of a small mouse, jet black with ferocious jaws and can give you a nip if you don’t watch out. They aerate the soil with their burrows and I am careful when I see where they are. The very dangerous red-backed spiders love living in upside down empty pots. Sorry, I don’t mean to put readers off - spiders are all part of our wonderful nature. Jonquils are starting to bloom but the fruit trees have not lost their leaves yet- crazy seasons. Aloes- I have a lot - are putting up lots of exciting flower spikes. Correas, my favourite Australian native small shrub are starting to flower- they are in my bushland, garden and pots. I think I have rambled on too much. I look forward to seeing more of your lovely garden and plants. Correas were named after a Portuguese ambassador and botanist. 1798. Kind thoughts.
Dear Cherree 🙌, I love all you say about Australia. Not an easy environment, lots of work out there!!! The lack of rain is a huge problem. I saw a snake in my garden a few days ago. Long but thin. Not poisonous I beleive but I am not very fond of them. Still, I wish or do them no harm, they are important for a good balanced environment. Actually I feel sorry that these wild creatures are losing their habitats. Crazy world se live in. Thank you very much for your wonderful comment, much appreciated 🙏❤️

Good morning Sra. Fernanda. I have recently inherited some orchids from my late mother. While my daughter went to visit family in Portugal she noticed some of the orchids have ants. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations of how to treat this problem. Thank you
Hi Maria, Thank you for reaching out. I understand how annoying ants might be. They won't do any harm to the orchids but still not a pleasant bug to have around. If they are only a few, I reccomend placing a small amount of one of those powders sold to kill ants at the top corner of the pots. However if there are many ants coming out of a particular pot it surely means they have made themselves comfortable making a nest. In that case I reccomend repotting. That is, taking the orchid out of the pot, clean up all the ants out under the tap and repot the orchid in a new medium. If you need any further advice please do not hesitate contacting me again 😍😍😍

My biggest set back is finding a pot large enough!
