- This is Extremely Rare it's from a Star Wars Christas Album called Christmas in the Stars this is the Very First Professional recording of Jon Bon Jovi lol He is credited as John Bongiovi here. This is so bad that it has to be heard lol. I love Jon Bon Jovi but seriously folks this is so bad you have to hear it for yourself lol
Morbid facts brought me here
Fr bro
Same 🫤
Ditto
Ha! Me too.
Me 3 only to learn his origin story was bunk from another comment on the song.
My parents had this album and played it every Christmas in the 80s and beyond. Had no idea Jon sang this until I learned about it in a documentary the other day. Great memories! ❤
I had the 45. One side was "R2 D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and the flip side was "What Do You Get A Wookie For Christmas When He Already Owns A Comb"
I would have never known Jon BonJovi sang the R2 D2 song.
Very interesting!
i grew up with this christmas album and it is priceless in my family as we grew up starwars fans. it is fantastic that its bonjovi. i was reading the credits as a kid in the 80s and found his name. ive known it all along.
so when you heard "runaway" you knew the name.cool.
For anyone confused how he ended up doing this Jon's older cousin Tony Bongiovi was a frequent collaborator with the record producer Dominico "Meco" Monardo who produced this album (and a fair number of known artists as well).
So they didn't just collar the 17yo kid sweeping the floors in the studio?
@@SlickArmorVery rarely is a person ever a slum dog millionaire - meaning: hardly anybody gets famous from scratch. There’s usually a connection involved. 😅
@@RussellGreerOfficial it's not who you know...
Never knew this until I saw his jimmy Kimmel interview
It's for the kids, but I love it! i'm still a kid at heart, and a Star Wars fan.
May the Force be with you always!
I just found out about this while watching a Jimmy Kimmel interview with him where he talked about it and they played the song pretty interesting facts
Welcome to Eltingville brings me here, a question of fan of Star Wars or Bon Jovi, and this makes me feel more nerd than ever.
Lego Rock Band threw this fact at me on a loading screen and I genuinely thought it was a joke. Absolutely nuts that this exists lmao
That’s Jon - very young voice
