Why didn’t they realize that they weren’t brother and sister in the parallel world. Alec and Izzy were, everything was still the same but they weren’t related. None of them thought of this?
The author wanted to keep them as siblings but once she realized the potential her books had for a series she knew shed have to ditch the whole insest thing.
If you watch this than the Sebastian video than it makes it seem that Sebastian gave Izzy to the greater demon, if you know Sebastians true nature. Whatever he gave her properly knocked her out or sleepy or something to make her easier to give to the greater demon!!!!

I'm glad they know now and can get back together but I feel bad for Simon and tbh Clary and Jace chemistry is just kind of meh. Malec is better! Jace has better chemistry with Alec and even with Simon than he does with Clary. Everyone just wants them together because of the books and I get it, but on the show its just like not that HOT!
