When I was 12 Madonna appeared on my TV. It was Christmas of 83' and my parents were divorcing. I was alone with my Dad and my sister and brothers were all with my Mom. The worst part was Dad was out with his new girlfriend so I was actually alone. I didn't open my presents under the tree. I couldn't as there was a disturbance in the universe. The TV was on and a video program in Canada called 'Video Hits' with Samantha Taylor was featuring a brand new artist and her video. I looked at the screen and was hypnotized. Madonna hypnotized us all. She saved my life. She came before me as an archangel at the right time to help get me through what was about to unfold. For that I have remained forever loyal to this angel. That said, watching her performance in Manila has to be my favourite performance of hers ever. Her connection to an audience that she was finally with for the first time was magical. Tears of the very best kind fell from my eyes. Liquid gold. Watching my Queen perform 'Crazy For You' and 'Like A Prayer' for her fans in the Philippines was cosmic. BTW, I was front and centre for 3 concerts; Blonde Ambition, The Confessions Tour, and Rebel Heart. Still her performance in Manila is the best. Wish I was there!!!! Bless everyone.
