we all have skeletons and have fallen from grace, but either way it go, Jamal Bryant did the very best thing during the entire show: he prayed for someone clearly lost and that has strayed far far away. God Bless Jamal Bryant.

Jamal Bryant took authority and doesn't care about the formality...I LOVE it! That unclean spirit has Carlton Pearson mocking those who pray for him...you have to have a discerning ear to hear it. God loves everyone but you have to repent from your sin...not still live in it. Apparently the prayer worked for a moment because it sounded like Carlton indirectly admitted he needed help, after the prayer was said...
I remember seeing this live and I wish I knew then what I knew now. I am grateful for the life of Bishop Pearson... your words are not wasted and your legacy will live on through those. Indeed, this message will flourish in the years and decades to come.

The truth is the truth, no matter where it comes from. No Jamal Bryant ain't perfect by any means, but what he's saying in regard to this issue is 100% truth. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. So don't judge the truth by the vessel; truth must be examined on its own merit.
The Doctor was the best one on the panel. Too many emotions in the black church but no change.

People thought Jamal Bryant was out of order. I think he prayed for Pearson out of love. If Jesus was in flesh today, they could NOT handle Jesus!
I often think about the wonderful Love of the Lord and how wonderful he is with all people, even those who don't understand his power and doubt is being. Carlton is saying what I have said for years and I am only thirty. Love is the essences of GOD and if you love people and live right and respect people without a malice in your heart you will be within his glory.
Carlton Pearson is a Blessed man and sometimes when you are blessed by GOD you have to move from those that love you and move to people who need LOVE.

Bishop Pearson past away of cancer in Tulsa Oklahoma before Thanksgiving 2023. Prophecy was given to him when this video was made.
Yes. People are not seeing and understanding because they are deceived. Jesus warned of this in Matthew 24:4, "Jesus said to them, “Be careful that no one leads you the wrong way. 5 Many people will come using My name. They will say, ‘I am Christ.’ They will fool many people and will turn them to the wrong way." I pray that he repented before he died. 😭🙏

Jamal was not out of line, He was honest, open, and expressing what he feel is very true and was needed!! Pearson needs to come back to the lord!

Jamel needs to check his life as well. When he was married,he had a set of twins by a teenager. Now he is at New Brith Church, he wants to start growing pot at the church. He apologized on national TV, for pastors that don't accept gay, same sex anything . This happened in 2023. So we that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
Funny how so many people on this thread spoke out against what Pastor Bryant did and said and then did the same thing in a comment. Pray for anyone that you feel is not on the right path.

Thie thing I loved about Bishop Vanguard I think his naem is that he stood for the truth he belived in without trying to be lukewarm, in between stradling the fence just to appease the host or the people or the preachers on the pannel....It is with out a doubt the church has relecated to just shouting, but shouting without substance...Maybe the intellectual aspect was more needed in this setting bec people meed 2 knw why they belive wht they beleive

After watching the second part of this discussion, the dialogue of the panel, and the comments on these videos, my heart is breaking nearly to the point of tears.
I might be, no rewind that, I am the minority on this board, and judging by the mindset of the comments, this will not serve me well.
However, after listening to Dr. Gayton, Pastor Bryant, and Bishop Bloomer, at the end of the day, what they are indirectly telling Bishop Pearson, is all that he has done...
You are correct. The spirits in Bryant and Bloomer are actually the same as the one in Pearson. Lord Jesus, the blind sitting there praying for the blind. All you have to do is use the word...but none of them did it. Carlton justified his position because he couldn't save all the people he went to preach to so God couldn't possibly send all of them to hell...REALLY??

Anwan E. I am kind of an outsider here, but Pearson seems like a very godly person! What he believes seems to make sense to me and is the only gospel with good news!
I see a lot of negative comments about Pastor Bryant, but he's the only one that had the unction to stop and aknowledge the presence of God.

The saddest thing to me is for this man to think that him going to those places he mentioned was the first time the gospel was preached. With all his brilliance surely he is aware that the continent of Africa was where the gospel first started.

Furthermore I feel instead of asking for Bishop Carlton to "come back" we should all take his advice and really consider why we believe what we believe. For example, if there was no heaven or hell would we still believe in Jesus or find the need the preach the need for everyone to become Christian. I mean what if everyone after this went to heaven or hell. The answer to this reveals whether we really love God or are we more scared and put more power in a devil. Things to think about.

Jamal Bryant is right. I mean he doesn't need to talk above a super seeded intelligence, but in the essence of what he saying he is right. Nothing that he has said has been wrong. All he wants is for bishop Pearson to comeback to where he was. But those of you who think Bryant is putting on a show don't know what your talking about. You are absolutely right. From my perspective, (please be understanding about this)....Lexi doesn't want to make her broadcast into a "church service". Maintaining the TV show atmostshpere is what her attitude is, not "church". Bloomer is trying to reach Carlton thru agape love(god's love), and not trying to attack him. A man with Carlton's intellect cannot be reached thru word play and verbal attacks. Reciepe? God's love, and God's refining fire, Will remove impurities, and heal the his wound..

@Ordained88 As for your 1st question, I don't think I can lay my personal feelings aside, so I'm not comfortable addressing it. I do think it's somewhat hypocritical that Jamaal Bryant is sitting in judgment of Pearson and is talking about how salvation is supposed to bring a change, when he himself has admitted to committing adultery and fathering a child with one of the members of his congregation.

I wish there were some things that we could greater do to reach people of every nation. Maybe we just need more love & concern. Many of Carlton Pearson's ideas I've come to see are New Age. I now feel that he tried to get out there & do some things differently & reach people, but ended up embracing a lot of error. We have to continue to not only pray as we witness (which I believe he has) but pray for a greater understanding of God's word (our sword with which we'll win this battle)

We should enlarge our vision of who GOD is and whom he loves. Jamal Bryant has lived his testimony since this taping. All of us have.

Whether we agree or disagree w/ Mr. Pearson's ideology, I think that at a minimum, Christians should study what it is that they believe. Too many people follow leaders blindly, never checking the validity of what it is that's being taught. When a person cannot be taught new things, he or she is in a very dangerous place mentally. We should seek God's will for our lives, and we should learn how to trust God and not always lean on man's interpretations of God's will... Peace...
That was kind of tacky of Jamal Bryant to burst out in prayer but good comeback Carlton Pearson. I don't agree with Pearson but sometimes as we Christians we forget to show compassion. We forget that we are not perfect and that we ourselves, upon occassion, need someone to stand in the gap for us. Bryant is insulting at times. He keeps poking fun at Pearson's education. He wasn't there to show love. He was there to "win", if you will.
I think he got burnt out with ministry. He disown himself as a past minister, that says a lot. He says he's not that person anymore like something traumatic happened.
I'm very familiar with the history of the Bible, thank you. The difficulty you run into is that the same biblical authors you quote as support for your belief are the same ones who explicitly mention faith in Christ as a necessary prerequisite for salvation.
Bishop is a better man than me! I wouldn't even subjected my self to this. The reality is Bishop had one more step to take and denounce all of this based on historical fact that there was never a Jesus period. It take strength to stand up and tell your truth.

It's been my experience that the first people to crow about how "Christian" they are are usually the LAST people to treat others as He actually taught, while those who would never refer to themselves by that name tend to do as He taught just as a component of their personalities, as opposed to doctrine. The latter group does it as a matter of course; the former claims to out of fear & desire for a reward.

They were praying that over Bishop, but I'm quite sure that Bishop was praying that over them. You get it?

@vfieldsone I also thought about this in the word that it said "be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind". Transformation should not lead you to the same place you were in 30 year ago. His ways and thoughts are much higher than ours, which tells me that what was written in the word is simply on mans level... but we claim to know the ways and thoughts of God

I pray for Bishop, but not like others may be.
I pray that he continues to allow God to orders his steps, because his journey could have easily sent down another route with a very tragic end. But God has sustained him, in spite of what people may say.

When you look at Christian history there was never a time when Christians agree on one thing . Not even the way of salvation . The Nicene Council tried to bring the Church under one creed . Which failed , so you had years of church persecutions. no wonder Bishop Pearson says there is no Hell .

@kittyprydelive I grew up COGIC as well. I was "tarrying" for the Holy Ghost at 9 years old. Church 7 days a week. But it's all good. It laid a foundation.
