It's amazing to see how many people have found them through Remedy's games may it be Control, Quantum Break, Alan Wake or Max Payne 2. I can't wait to see what bangers they have for us in Alan Wake 2
Also PotF has another song in the game under the moniker Old Gods of Asgard. It's called "Take Control" and it plays in a sequence that pays homage to the rock stage fight where "Children of the Elder god" by the same band plays in Alan Wake. And speaking of Alan Wake. I am so fucking HYPED that we are FINALLY after what will be 13 years getting Alan Wake 2 in 2023. If it was any other studio announcing a sequel after 11 years I would be extremely worried BUT I have 100% confidence in the homeboy Sam Lake that the game will blow us all away and I seriously can't wait to get my hands to it.
I have quite a lot to say so I'm going to divide it to several comments so we don't get one comment that is a kilometre long. here we go: First a little correction. The song it self was not made for the game BUT the music video was completely influenced and made with the game in mind. You see. Marko Saaresto and Sami Järvi (Sam Lake) are childhood friends and in fact the bands fame got kick started because they made the song "Late Goodbye" for Max Payne 2 and ever since they have made songs for every Remedy Entertainment game. But back to them being friends. Marko will often play some of their upcoming music to Sam because he respects his opinion and when he showed this song to him Sam loved it so much that he said it NEEDS to be in the game and thus the music video was made and your correct the song is an Easter egg in the game.
@@mighty_themultitasker Yes the video is quite a spectacle and I don't even get the references other than the red phone because I haven't played the game yet which is a testament to how well made the video is that it can capture the attention of the viewer so well even if they don't know what the video is really about! Also AWESOME work with the reaction as always💙💙💙
I still haven't played Control my self but I got the game for free from Epic Games during the Christmas time and bought the dlc for it from sale for like 5€ and can't wait to sink my teeth in to it. ESPECIALLY the Alan Wake dlc AWE. The dlc was also the first time we got a hint of a sequel to Alan Wake before they officially announced it at the Game Awards 2021.
Also do you wan't me to give you the next PotF song now so you have it ready on the list or should I pop up as usual in about a weeks time to chuck it your way?
Also this is a really small nitpick and I might even have heard wrong but the album's name is "Ultraviolet" not sure if you said "violet" or "violent" if you said the former then I will gladly take the L 😂 and if you said the latter well... it's literally a one letter difference and we can chalk it up to me being WAY too sensitive for small stuff like that soooo... maybe a small L for me even in that case😂😂😂 And regardless of which you said it doesn't change the fact that the reaction was AWESOME💪
I'm glad Control introduced me to this amazing band.

@@mighty_themultitasker 😂Don't worry I'm way too familiar with the same thing. Especially when I'm excited about something.
