    All these improvements, yet I bet they still catch on fire. What polaris really needs to work on is their quality. This summer my 18 has been in the shop more then I've been able to use it.

    The PRO XP (turbo) is not 1000cc, it is the same as the XP Turbo & XP Turbo S at 925cc. Also the rear bed can only hold a 30" tire, not a 32" according to the Polaris Engineers.

    I'm sure Polaris is hoping to attract new, younger riders with their supposed rebranding(which is almost nothing). But, I don't think their customer base is going to increase, as people can't afford to buy anything fun, anymore. Not to mention, its mental to buy new when you can get a way better deal on a used one with most of the accessories you'd want.

    • @robw3761
      @robw3761 5 лет назад +1

      I agree but you don't have to spend 25 +thousands i bought a Kawasaki teryx LE model it's not a pure sport machine it's a sport utility and i spent nowhere near what that cost sure that thing is much faster at 70 mph my Kawasaki goes 52 mph but unless you are in wide open desert or somewhere else like Glamis witch is wide open sand Dunes were you can use that kinda Horsepower and speed but i guarantee you i can do anything that machine can 💯👍 there's a big price to pay for all that horsepower and bells and whistles in my opinion there is absolutely no way I would pay anywhere near that

    • @jonathanlewis82
      @jonathanlewis82 5 лет назад

      @@robw3761 No, I agree. This is mostly excess in all its glory. But having been out riding, I would be looking at a used 1000, an older model, as opposed to my sister in law's 570. It does a lot, but just doesn't have the clearance for the things the 1000s do. Most of our riding is through wooded trails and overgrown rail tracks and quite a few rocky paths as well.

    • @robw3761
      @robw3761 5 лет назад

      Then you have the type of terrain just like I have here in South Carolina if I was you I would look into the Kawasaki and also Kawasaki is coming out with their sport model but it will be in that $20,000 price range the Kawasaki Teryx you should take a look at it's the best bang-for-the-buck by far and they are built like tanks they come with Fox Podium shocks 27 in tires with 14in rims very comfortable seats full size front bumper a nice roof I bought the two seater model with the dump bed because I like the bed space it's the same as the four seater but the four seater you have enough room in that little bed for an ice chest and not much more it is a mid-engine machine so it is louder than others inside but it doesn't bother me or my girlfriend we can talk to each other also Kawasaki gives you a 3 year unlimited warranty nobody can touch that I bought a 2 in brute performance bracket lift and I put a winch on a light bar I have no problem with clearance even before when I didn't put the bracket lift on there but the bracket lift is a no-brainer it's only $150 and it's very well built I looked at all of the lifts out there and that one is the best one I'm good to go now when these tires were out I'll put some 29 inch tires and I'll have even more clearance and for you Teryx owners out there you need to take off your sway bar you are so limited by having that sway bar on when you take it off your machine will be able to articulate from left to right when you are going over obstacles like rocks creek beds off-camber incline's

My brother just bought a '17 Rzr 1000 with winch, roof, doors, sound system, lightbars front and rear, windshield, spare tire and less than 600 miles for like 12 grand. Cwh Outdoors it’s not about HP.... The new 1000 makes peak torque 3000 rpm lower than the 900 did which is what you want on a work utility. On a workhorse like a Ranger, you want low end grunt, not high end hp.
