Hey everyone, so I've been thinking about videos we can do to show you a little more about who we are behind the scenes. SO if you've got an idea for something I can shoot while I'm here at home go ahead and ask. I was thinking about doing a little walk through of my garage. It's not very clean but might give folks an idea of who we are outside of TV and see what other stuff we are into as well. Just a thought. Lemme know and I'll shoot some stuff. ~AJ
I do a rally school in Norway where I use UTVs for coaching drivers. I have coached drivers in the WRC (World Rally Championship), would it be of interest if I send a video showing how UTVs can be used for this purpose? I have followed your channel for years. Greatings from Norway:)
New units are awesome and they certainly keep me tuned in. But the majority of the viewers are enthusiasts with model year @$#&. What about a greatest hits type of show where you run back through 5-8 years of your favorite machines and what you would buy USED if stuck at home an scouring the classifieds.
I went looking for a new machine and accidentally came across a 1999 scrambler 400 2 stroke. I bought it for 1200 bucks from original owner and that thing is more fun than I could have got for 20k!! 😂. So glad I didn’t spend a bunch on a new one. I had forgot how fun 2 strokes are ! The sound alone will put a big grin on your face lol
We rebuilt one a few years back, you can check out those videos by searching our library of vid's. I loved the 2 stroke Scrambler, sounds great, snappy and lets be honest....... nothing smells as good as a two stroke!
I don't really like Polaris. But I have to be honest. That's a great machine. I don't like the devil either but I drink his beer. Thank you for the video. Stay safe and God bless.
Thanks Jon, thanks for the kind words. We are glad to be here and able to still do this on RUclips. We are looking forward to more normal times, they can't come soon enough. ~AJ
Here in finland we use these things as road drivers. At 15 you can get a license for a mopedcar or a tractor. Just get a cabin on these things and they are nice to drive in the summer and winter!
Welcome back and best to you and your family. A simple request please. When comparing the RZR Pro XP to the Maverick, please compare the 64"wide XDS so it's apples to apples. I know that may not be in your control. Thank you.
Great video ! Polaris stepping up in the dirt and snow last couple years ! Glad to see you and your family safe and having some fun ! Look forward to new season of Dirttrax after great season of snow trax ! Matt F
LOLI can't blame ya for that, tough to sled down there. I have family who are down there in the winters, can't say I'm not a little envious of sun and sand at parts of the bitter cold winter :-) ~AJ
First I'd like to say that i love your channel and watch all your videos. As a matter of fact I bought a 2019 Can-am max XT-P as a result of your review, and love it. Thinking about a SxS now. But encouraging people to head out riding is not what we're suppose to be doing. In B.C. the hospitals have seen a significant reduction in day to day injuries due to people staying home. Our back country roads and camping areas are closed. MANY PEOPLE SEEM TO BE MISSING THE POINT. It's to keep people out of the hospitals that are already overwhelmed by this virus. It's an undeniable fact that the more people that are on the roads and off road the more injuries there's going to be. I'm sure some of us have seen the pictures of hospital staff with cuts on there faces from having to wear masks for 12 hour shifts that will eventually lead to scaring. There on the front lines in a war, yes WAR with an enemy you can't see, touch or smell and the worst part is you can't even negotiate with it. They go home every day, and in many cases isolate them selves from there family members out of fear of giving them the disease. Never mind getting it them selves. So, if your going to go out and ride you got to ask your self a few questions. 1. If I get hurt and need to go to the hospital, do I really want to be in a place crawling with Covid 19? 2. If I was a ambulance driver, I'd make it the most uncomfortable ride you ever had. 3. If I was a nurse, I'd pee in your drinking water. 4. If I was a doctor and you had a broken leg, I'd set it so you never walked strait again. I know this sounds harsh, but we need to support the people on the front lines in a war with this disease instead of wining about how we're stuck at home. And before you say it can't happen to me. I have never gone on a ride where somebody said, "I'm going to crash today and end up in the hospital". For now we should considering maintenance that we probably haven't done enough of, or new products for building our machines that can all be done at home.
@Brandon Brzak Thanks for the feed back. But I did right this 8 months ago, when the threat was reel and we didn't know how bad this could get. Like most of us, I have since calmed down and have been riding. Yup, sanity is important part of this sh*t were going through. (reading it now, I do sound a little crazy) BTW, thanks for your service during this trying time.
you guys make some great videos but can you please review some base model units. I have heard a lot about these rzr pros but for those of us that can't drop 30k on a new unit would like to see something about the less expensive units. Thanks!
The heat shields they are using now are great even my 2019 50 inch trail i don't notice heat in the cabin. Great video. I agree 100% on the general will be my next machine. Maybe by then polaris will have an HVAC edition.
That would be pretty sweet, mind you the retail price is gonna be pretty huge if you cab and HVAC it, mind you I think most people look at the monthly payment when they are buying at that level.
On the General Deluxe the stock Fosgate Sytem Stage 1 only come with front speakers. The stage 2 adds ride command, sub, and rear speakers. Ive been looking at one and one of my needs would be to add rear speakers.
LoL, thanks for the excitement! We are happy to be bringing more new stuff for everyone. Not sure how the next little while will look but I'm going to keep on doing these little edits myself while I'm at home. If you've got any ideas we would be happy to hear them. ~AJ
LoL yeah I'll bet it will! those are a great tire, and the square set up I really do enjoy. Don't matter what it's on seems to have great advantages and you can rotate em which is nice when the rears start to shed some tread ~AJ
I love my 2018 general. Unfortunately they didn't give you as many options in the deluxe model of my year as they do the newer year models. Fantastic units all around.
Polaris didn't have much of a choice but to step up their game. For the prices they charge. The General is $24k+ and the Razor is $28k+ (includes a badly located antenna that'll get ripped off all the time and doors with big chunk missing). I can see stuff flying out through those doors. Thanks for watching Jenky1044, I agree the antenna may get ripped off lol. But it works good for the time being :-) CF Moto is building some nice stuff now for sure. I'm hoping to get a test on their Pure sport side by side soon, but the UForce 1000 is a great rig, I really like it a lot. Appreciate your comment and the Blessings, God bless you and yours as well! ~AJ
AJ, let's just say that some people's quarantine location (rideable trails) and setup (2 brand new SxS) seems much better than others'...HAHAHA In my case, my kids and I were riding the snowmobiles up until a week ago and now it's ATV time in full-mud mode ! You guys should do a rzr 900s and a rzr 1000s or just base model reviews of side by sides since I feel like most people aren’t buying the top of the line one.

Great video and these things do look pretty awesome and seem to have all the accessories. But I wonder? Like their little brothers? Do they keep the battery down low on the chassis. I had been thinking seriously about the Polaris Quads, somewhere in the 500-700 cc range .. as I am in the market for one right now. But I just can't get past the battery so low. Basically sitting on the ground. I was expecting them to be under the seat. I really like the look of these rigs and the 570 with back utility pan is the one I like the most, So I am hoping you are going to tell me that this is nothing to worry about.. lol . But I really scratch my head on this decision. and wonder if these beauties are the same.. Great overview and great looking rigs.. Thanks for sharing
I know many of the side by sides from many brands put the battery under the drivers seat, the RZR is for sure that way as i had to charge it up. I'll go check the General right now.........Ok so it's under the drivers side rear passenger seat. Also remembered there is a cool storage bin under all 3 other seats too. The battery top is at least 20 or more inches off the ground so good clearance and the accessibility is really good on the General and RZR. I've never had an issue with the battery on a side by side giving me trouble in this locations. I'm guessing due to the increased battery size they want to keep that weight low in the chassis. The General and the RZR also have the Bus Bar system so lots of power accessibility up front without needing to touch the battery. ~AJ
@@dirttraxtv That is what I would expect.. Putting the battery down low like that really makes me start looking at other brands because of it.. What tire do you recommend for a Maverick Sport 1000R for the east coast. We have snow in the winters, mud in the spring and hard pack in the summer fall? I use my for joy riding in the woods, and snow removal.
No need for a sport sxs shootout once this Speed UTV is released in the fall. 230hp with a 300hp hell key designed by Robby Gordon. Bye bye can am and Polaris. Are you guys @ dirt trax ordering one?

Just wondering if it takes some getting used to when you switch to dirtttax from snowtrax and you don’t have team yellow lambasting you because you said something good about Polaris so “they obviously pay you because no one makes anything but team yellow and I can’t stand to hear anything said nice about anything else but my yellow machine because it has to be the best thing ever because I own one and other than my bent nuns and twitchy front end what more could you ask for?” Asking for a friend
Rob Stevenson probably people who own them are using them at home more like a ranger then play like a RZR. Just my opinion. Most people I know who own Polaris sxs own the General.
@@thehunter9149 Good call, yeah i have to agree, you see more RZR's on the trail but the base RZR is cheaper than the General too. The RZR is also the best selling side by side of all time so there's a boat load of them out there. I think a base model General with a bit of a reduced price tag (Slightly more than a base RZR) would be really cool to see, but I think they reserve the General for a more premium category. Could be, however I will say the 181hp feels great. Pretty impressed how hard it accelerates, now on the General I could totally use the Turbo power in the 4 seater. It's not that it's slow but I got spoiled by the Turbo...... Although my family loves the General just the way it is so I should probably just quite talking lol ~AJ
Why do you video after video keep calling the rzr turbos 1000 turbos? 1000 isn't anywhere on the machine and there 925 cubic inch engines. There called xp pros they only come with a turbo..... you cant get a none turbo pro.
I kinda think it would be a great addition too, The steering wheel controls are pretty cool but the rubberized texture is way better for keeping grip when your gloved.
Dude, good Maintenance and a little preventative clutch stuff from Hunterworks and you'll be just fine. Polaris is coming leaps and bounds each year. I was a hard core Honda and Yamaha guy but over time I've adapted and not been let down by Polaris
As nice as these units are, I have to agree with you on the reliability thing. For that reason, I just sprung for a Honda SxS. Having a real transmission is a game changer IMO.
@@Ceemysix Can't go wrong with a Honda for reliability for sure. We haven't had any big issues with our Polaris test vehicles over the past 5 years and they have stepped up their game big in the way of reliability, fit and finish. But Honda and Yamaha have a rock solid reputation for surviving the longest.
It's a lot more functional for the average guy, and I put myself in that category even though I love the power and suspension and well..... everything about the RZR. The General is just a do all, carry all, and take the family along for the ride too rig.

Maybe 72” pro xp coming soon maybe more power ?
Could be, however I will say the 181hp feels great. Pretty impressed how hard it accelerates, now on the General I could totally use the Turbo power in the 4 seater. It's not that it's slow but I got spoiled by the Turbo...... Although my family loves the General just the way it is so I should probably just quite talking lol ~AJ
Why do you video after video keep calling the rzr turbos 1000 turbos? 1000 isn't anywhere on the machine and there 925 cubic inch engines. There called xp pros they only come with a turbo..... you cant get a none turbo pro.
The general delux should include the upgraded steering wheel that the xp ultimate has.
I kinda think it would be a great addition too, The steering wheel controls are pretty cool but the rubberized texture is way better for keeping grip when your gloved.
👍
The harnesses need to be though the seat....
I have a cottage in Kinmount you’re from Minden. You should give MRSP in Canada 🇨🇦 then USA. Thanks great video!
Can i have the red one
I'm still concerned about Polaris reliability. I got rid of my 850 XP because of reliability issues and I'd like to avoid that in the future....
I like the general better
It's a lot more functional for the average guy, and I put myself in that category even though I love the power and suspension and well..... everything about the RZR. The General is just a do all, carry all, and take the family along for the ride too rig.
Hi how are you
Doing well, thanks for watching our videos!
I’ve yet to spend $28k on a vehicle yet, let alone a toy. SMH 🤦🏼♂️
The fact that your virtue signaling your compliance with social distancing Is not
indearing... looks like a great time !!!
I thought the pro cop was a new talon.
They kinda look similar don't they.
Definitely not an XP1000 TURBO.
25k and zero reliability/ quality.
Way too much depressing virus talk in this video.
wish it wasn't so ugly ...
I guess each vehicle from each manufacturer is subjective to each persons interpretation. I kinda like both of these.
