BREAKING: Canada to allow international students to work off-campus over 20 hours per week
Immigration Minister Sean Fraser has announced a new temporary measure aimed at alleviating Canada's historic labour shortages. Fraser says this will allow over 500,000 international students already in Canada to potentially work more hours.

Hi Sarbjit, no student who got visa on or before 7th oct are eligible
This is not gonna be good for international student, they won't have time to concentrate why they are here is canada in the first place I.e to study. But what it does it water down the importance of going to school even removes the initial requirement to prove you can support your self in canada before you even apply to canada, in that case just make international student permits permanent residents right away you will save more resources like you saying. Its will encourage international students to not need to prove they are a perfect fit for canada like the 40 indian international students from strawberry hill plaza surrey that are being deported for hoo liganism and van dalism and blocking an RCMP officer from doing his job. Govt should always think about the unseen consequences in student minds when they open up things like this, this is doing to be a disservice to students and to community as well, which ever govt is in power please, please think first before you act
Bro it depends on the student. For Poor students whose family cannot afford enough to pay their fees, they have to work full time

Bhai mene student visa apply kiya 22 July ko fir mera rejection aa gya tha 6 October ko, fir mene reapply kiya 11 October ko or mera visa aa gya 22Nov ko, mera question ye h ki kya me 40 hours kam krne k liye eligible hu?

Nothing such, if you are coming to canada on study visa then you are eligible to work full time until Dec 31, 2023
