As someone who makes beaded jewelry and Christmas ornaments, I know that there is more work involved in handmade items than non-artists see! I may not know the prices of the resin, ink, etc. that went in to this piece of art you just made, but I do know that it is worth what ever you charge! If it would fit in my home decor, I would have asked if it was for sale! As another time poster said: "Don't under price your art." It IS worth every penny."
Lee Ann Johnson , I agree! My feelings have been hurt over and over when I crochet an intricate sweater or afghan for a gift, choosing patterns and special yarns especially with the “giftee” in mind...only to have them say, “oh, that’s nice” and then I never see them wear or use the items. Often I spend quite a lot on materials, not to mention the hours and hours of time. I don’t sell my items, but surely would appreciate seeing more appreciation.
Thank you both for saying this. I really need to reevaluate myself and my lack of esteem. I always feel like my work isn't appreciated when in fact it is. I undersold this one but have 2 more that I will list at what I feel is a respectable price. Thank you both. I needed to see this.❤😘😘😘😘

Listen, this is worth easily 300 dollars : imagine it in a wide entrance hall of a building or big wall in a home. It catches so much the eye, and yes!!! all it's value will appear then. It is worth an important amount of money. Your creation, your wonderful work.

When you came back the next day and did the close-up with the blinds. The right panel how it changed all the colors from gold to purple, red, pink all the way up it’s amazing you’re amazing.

Hi Tammy, I really enjoyed your video. My first job was at a museum quality framing shop and I learned a lot of little tricks from the owner and other fine artists. When you are cutting on your cutting board, you can put a piece of that rubbery shelf liner under your piece (cut smaller than your piece). You can get a roll at the dollar store. It will make it so your piece won't slip when you are trimming it. That way you can' protect your paper from scuffs, too.

Wow. This is the first time I’ve seen Cabochons used in a painting. This is the first time I’ve seen this design since I did one. I used Dollar Tree cabs. I love how you incorporated the round marbles. And the resin design. Totally awesome!!!!
