We are in Tiruvannamalai on a holiday trip. This video is about our visit to world famous "Sri Ramanasramam". Sri Ramana Maharshi was a great hindu sage and jivan mukta, who attained liberation while he was alive. Bhagwan Ramana lived in this Ashram from 1922 to 1950, and here he attained Maha Nirvana.
Ramanashramam is visited by thousands of tourist every year by people coming from different backgrounds, religion, creed and languages. Visiting the Ashram is always a pure bliss and wonderful experience.

Toya is very cute Chihuahua 😍..as for the blog it's lovely.. Captures the peace of the Ashram. I had visited it in the middle 90s when I was healthy but i wasn't a peaceful person.. Still not. So the spiritual vibes just evaded me.. I wasn't ready..

In this ashram I have tasted the most delicious food in my life . Not the products that it contains, but a vibration filled with an all-pervading love for creation.

@@TravelwithToya Yeh, it was lovely sitting on boulders on Aruna Giri and watching the Arunachaleshwara temple down below.
There was absolutely no vehicular traffic, so we could clearly listen to the rumbling of bullock carts which passed on the road below ( nearest to the hill) while we enjoyed the view from that height.

This video is a very good idea and effort worth appreciating. It will be a great boon to such people who are not averse to Saints and spirituality,but will never be able visit Tiruvannamalai. By providence,I could pay a short visit to Ashram in 1972,on my way from Pondicherry to Katpadi,for catching a train to Trichur( for going to Guruvayoor temple). When I went there,I did not come across any Ashramite and so on my own saw...Maharshis and His mothers Samadhi,His room containing the things used by Him. I also could visit the famous Arumacaleshwar Shiva temple. By providence,in 1999 I could visit the room where Maharshi was born,While returning from Rameshwaram to my camp at a mine of India Cements. Hello Bharat, You can stay in Ashram for which booking has to be made 2-3 months in advance on Ashram website or you can call. But currently due to Covid it is closed. Staying on Arunachala is not allowed by Law. Thank you for watching 🙏

Very helpful video 🕉️ Is there a path to trek the Arunachala mountain. Also, are there hotels around to stay the night.
Glad to know that you like the video 🙏. There is excellent road around the Arunachala to do Parikrama around mountain, and you would see people 24 hours doing parikrama (Girivalam). Also there are plenty of hotels and homestay around mountain, I would suggest to stay around Sri Ramana Ashram. Hope this helps!

Ramana Ashram opens everyday, sometimes there can be changes in timing which you can confirm when you are there. In morning hours, I have always seen the ashram open for visitors. Full moon days also.

Ramana Maharshi lived in Arunachala temple for sometime when he first came Tiruvannamalai, also he did deep meditation in "Patala Lingam" vault of the temple so he remains undisturbed.

I don't think Bhagavan Raman ever gave lectures in old hall. ( 7:10 munites)He had talk with devotees. Gave answers to questions.
