I loved reading The Grapes of Wrath so much... It is so bad that your own history is banned! Here we had a very bad case of banned books from the 20s to the 80s and, for example, in Hamlet, some essential scenes were removed, and people didn't understand the character's behaviors. It was crazy! And unfortunately, some of those "translations" are still in bookshops...
+Lila Wood Luckily, these bans usually don't last or are thrown out right away and it's just "small scale" bannings, like only in one school when some people have a fit... then it's put back in the school/town library. Censoring Shakespeare is just crazy!!

Really loved Fahrenheit 451. Been wanting to read Slaughterhouse Five, I'm ashamed to admit I haven't yet read Vonnegut
