I knew I wasn’t tripping about this weight gain !
Okayyyy! I just got mine out TODAY! Never again!
Oh my gosh I hope that my removal goes smoothly. I have the implant for 4 years now and it caused me to gain 40+ pounds and gave me anxiety and depression when i had never had issues before. I think it’s time for it to come out
Same here! Although it’s been 6months for me since I’ve had it removed and the side effects are still there!!! Help!
The spotting is what I can’t take
I lost weight when I got it because I didn’t have menstrual craving. Later I got weight on my own and was able to lose the weight with semaglutide. I wouldn’t blame nexplanon.
Girl same it's got me in a dark room not answering my phone and not wanting to do anything or be around anyone. Like thoughts of driving into incoming traffic which I've never struggled with before.
I got my nexplanon taken out last week and I already feel better. My emotions are always on 10 so I’m not sure if nexplanon made it worse lol. But physically I feel a lot better. When I had the nexplanon, I would feel so nauseous every single day for MONTHS. I was so miserable all the time. I’m happy with my choice to get it out as well.
Im sorry that was your experience! I couldn't imagine! I'm glad to hear you were able to get it out and that you are feeling better! Feel free to keep us posted🤗
Literally this is how I feel every day and baddd cramps haven’t had my period in about 2 years lol I have mood swings a lot n I also feel like it’s been hard to eat this whole time having it I been under 100lbs for a whileeee. I know every body is different but you saying you’re happy with your choice makes me happy! and gives me hope I’ll be happy about it getting removed as well. I pray I feel, look better and healthier after getting it out next week I’m nervous lol.
I feel so nauseous everyday it’s affecting my eating habits because everything rubs me the wrong way
okay good cause i'm getting it out soon i knew it had to be the birth control messing with my emotions but i've been more sad since i got it
I was on depo for 12/13 years and when I stopped i felt like a completely different person. I feel like I finally felt like a women for the first time at the age of 25. Ended up getting on nexplanon and those bad effects came right back. Just got it removed today and im so relieved knowing I will start to feel better soon!
I’m happy for you! I hope you feel better soon! 🙏🏽🤗
I’m getting my implant removed tomorrow and I’m so excited, I’ve had it for 6 months and the weight gain is so bad now, when i had my baby i lost all the pregnancy weight in 1 month but as soon i got the implant I gained 30lbs in the first 3 months so I’m so grateful to see your videos to not be scared 😅!
Yea, that weight gain is rough! 😩 congrats on your baby! I’m glad my videos helped! How did your removal procedure go? Hopefully well 🤗🙏🏽
Y'all got me scared BC I'm 135 and 5'4 I'm already thick I don't wanna be over 145 smh just got mine put in yesterday 😓
This stuff turned my daughter into a lunatic within 1 month of getting it.Depression, anxiety, nervousness, paranoia, insane mood swings, suicidal thoughts, poor sleep.I took her to the doctor and had it removed,5 days ago and she's feeling back to normal.I reemed the doctor about not properly warning young woman about this procedure.
i wish my mom can understand how this birth control has effected me the same way /:
I'm taking it out now after 4 months, my period didn't end! I've been super stressed and with constant bleeding I've been feeling super tired and out of it. I will be getting it removed tomorrow and I am so excited.
Having the same issues !!
did she got in removed after the first month having it inside her arm? i just got mines last month and made an appointment to remove it tomorrow and im nervous.
I got mines taking out 4 days ago.. and I honestly have not had a appetite since. I’ll eat but I’m not hungry after like 3pm. Before then I stayed in the kitchen
Hi it’s so good to see other women knowing exactly what I went through. I got the nexplanon implanted in may 2021 and at first skipped a month and then had some spotting. Then all of a sudden I would get my period and bleed consistently for two weeks straight every month. One of the reasons I got the nexplanon is because I was told the main side effect was no periods. The mood swings I would get were the worse. I was super depressed with it. I felt so bad for my fiancé because I didn’t even want him to touch me. The moment I got it removed I felt instantly better.
I had my son and got BC about 6 months later. I had lost 20-25 lbs and gained it right back once I got this! That was in 2019. I finally got it removed today, and I swear to y’all, I feel better already. It’s been 7 hours and I feel something shifting within. I was feeling so lethargic, hungry, overweight, tired, getting headaches, couldn’t concentrate, etc.
I got my Nexplanon taken out yesterday and I feel better already 💙
I’m getting mine removed tomorrow, the one thing I will say is I would never have gotten it if I knew what I was going to go through. Within 4 months of getting it I got extremely depressed, terrible mood swings, awful anxiety, very irritable, over all my emotions were extremely off the rails and it affected everyone around me. I also gained 30 pounds, I was perfectly healthy before and gained so much weight. It’s impossible to lose it no matter how much physical activity I did. The weight gets to me so much and I wish I never would have gotten it. I would weigh what I was supposed to for my height if it wasn’t for nexplanon. I went from a size 4 to a size 10-12. I do not recommend this to anyone.
I’m literally going through this right now .. how do you feel now since you got it removed ?
I’m going through this right now ! Before nexplanon i was 156 lbs and Im 5’6. I got it in September 2018 and taken out February 2022 and I weighed 197 😢.
@@Naynayfriendz have you lost weight after it was removed?
@@deborahbrown1230 I have lost about 11lbs since being off of it, but I’m working out and changing my eating habits too!
@@Naynayfriendz wow that’s awesome 👏🏾
I got my nexplanon taken out 3 days ago! I'm so happy it's over. I would rate the pain of it getting taken out a 3/10 ❤️ goodluck everybody
I can thankfully say I had a great experience with nexplanon for the three years that I had it, I was never feeling depressed nor with anxiety out of the normal. I did notice that nexplanon actually helped me with my acne . But thankfully overall good experience the only con about this in my experience was the weight gain. Your weight goes high in the sky I had never waited in my life in the 200's it was pretty bad I just got it removed this morning and I feel so happy but I also am glad that I did get nexplanon because like I said before I had a great experience and everybody is different and I'm glad to have my fertility back to normal in a few days
I got the implant the next day I had my baby, it's been a year still have the implant in me and I'm about to make an appointment to take it out
I've been depressed lately for no reason
I gained 30lbs and feel so insecure
I can't wait to get this thing out of me and pray to God I feel better after this
I can't imagine going through all of those emotions and changes at one time! I really pray that you're able to schedule the removal soon and that your hormones and weight loss get back to normal! 🤗🙏🏽
I honestly love your video about this!!💖I’m getting mine removed next Monday I can not wait I should’ve done it sooner I can’t wait to get my body and my emotions back in control I’m beyond ready for this 😭
I’ve gained so much weight on this implant. I’m literally sitting at my doctors office wanting it removed. They have to set me up for an appointment of course but I’ve gained 30 lbs in the span of 3 months, my emotions are all over the place all the time, and I’m working out almost everyday with clean eating and not dropping a lick of weight but gaining. I want it out!
Once I realized that my insane 40 pound weight gain was the implant I wanted out. It was so damaging to just feel like crap because you think there's something wrong with you physically and eventhough you diet and workout nothing changes. I want out. I want my mental health and physical body back where it was.
Same here, no matter how healthy you eat, walks, exercise its like pointless you only will lose a litre weight and that's it. So you aren't going crazy, the weight gain is real.
This video is so reassuring... getting mine taken out soon bc I've had crazy mood swings (I got diagnosed as bipolar but I feel like they're wrong and it's just my hormones!) and have gained nearly 40 lbs since getting it last August and can't lose it for the life of me! I've always been overweight but carried it well, now I just look huge!
I used to get that numb feeling in the area too occasionally. Just got mine out recently so was thrilled to get this video come up. Congratulations on your bubby boy
Thank you so much for your videos. I have had mine for 2 years I have had THE WORST anxiety and depression I felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest.. I was foggy headed and was always thinking and worrying so much every second.. I was nauseous lost lots of weight.. I was VERY forgetful I was so sick of having it so I just got it removed 2 days ago. I have a weak stomach when it comes to incisions so I didn't watch them take it out. I felt my arm where it was and it still feels like it's in there so I was worried like they didn't take it out nooo lol but you informed me. I really hope all the anxiety and other problems it gave me go away quickly I already feel better knowing it's out thank you so much for all your info ❤
Getting mine removed tomorrow 😌. So excited...gained a little weight. My mental health is going offfff the rails
girl same just got mine removed today, I gained weight and my mental health has been a mess how have you been feeling since you've been off it has your health improved or have you lost the weight that you gained from it if you mind my asking
@@berserkagain7976Heyy, do you have any updates? Asking the same questions you were curious about lol
I’ve had 3 implants 4 years twice and 1 year for the one I’m getting it out in a week. I’ve loved my Nexplanon! I’ve gained weight and had increased migraines the 4th year or the first two. I’m hoping to get my fertility back! I loved how the Nexplanon helped my mood swings over the past years. I was an diagnosed bipolar person. Come to find out I just needed some hormonal balance and I’m actually not bipolar just emotional when I’m out of balance. So we will see what happens after it’s out next week! Fingers crossed everything goes great and we have a new little one on the way by the end of the year.
Please come back with feedback. I’m interested
Thank you for this! I am still going back & forth about getting it for hormonal balance and i needed to hear that it worked for at least one person
My getting mine out tomorrow I have been felling dizzy no stop . That is the reason I am taking it out also I have gain so much weight.
I’ve been getting nexplanon implants for years. I am on my third one and I am DONE with it. I am scheduled for a tubal ligation next week and after I am healed from that they will be removing my implant. I cannot wait to get it out. This third implant has really made me recognize the side effects. I don’t feel normal. I feel like I fly off the rails sometimes. Super irregular bleeding. I’m over it. But before this new year it’s bye bye nexplanon😌
same. i was totally fine on it for 11 years but this past year has sucked…. and i got mine take out three days ago and i already feel better
Have you had kids already?
@@scorpionattitude No, I have chosen to be child free.
@@kitsunefox26 Same here how old are you. The stupid doctor said I was too young I’m 22 she did tell me she could send off a referral but it would of hurt more to hear if that news came back negative also so I went back home crying for 6 hours straight almost. I’ve never wanted a kid I’ve been telling my family this for ages they all know I don’t want a child I just don’t want to be stressing out all the time and I am cause I always fear I’m gonna get pregnant. My anxiety about it is so bad it’s 1000 it’s so horrible I also just wanted something natural I really don’t want to put synthetic unnatural chemical stuff in my body. I’ve been reading that all these birth controls can cause blood clots to so many areas of your body and increase your risks of cancers it’s so concerning for me as a woman. I know I would fail at rhythm counting also. Ugh why’s life so easy for guys I hate being a woman so much. It shouldn’t be the doctors choice it’s my body and life not there’s to decide ugh 😫.
@@kitsunefox26 The best bet is to probably get my boyfriends approval then doctors can’t say bullshit because I’m gonna marry this man. Put I could try this implant first because it seems very effective out of all other options. Maybe at 24 I can get my tubes tied I’m still so angry about it all though.
You're so cute I just wanna hug you. I'm thinking about getting my implant removed after almost 10 years of having it. Ready to try live by my natural cycle!! Never had a normal cycle, imagine!? Thanks for the encouraging words
Aww thank you! 🤗🤗🤗 That’s incredible!!!! 10 years is a long time! I’m glad it worked for you all those years! I could imagine life without a cycle is blissful! No problem! I hope your new path goes will for you! 🙏🏽🤗
How has it been for you?! I’ve been on nexplanon 12 years and considering not getting another one when my current one expires next month?! I want to learn my body not on birth control.
@@micaylacastro1881 it’s taken about a year for my cycle to really settle and for me to learn when things are happening (I can now sense when ovulation is and see the signs, and I know when to expect a period). It’s really rewarding, so glad i did it!
@@leahfodevchuk4278 that is AMAZING! I’ve always thought that was so weird when other women say they can feel all of that just because I got on birth control so young and have been on it so long , that I don’t know my body like that at all!! Thank you so much for replying! I think I am finally going to get off it it next month, after 12 years. I’m excited and scared but thank you! 😇
I got mine in 2018 I had no period and felt ok until June 2020 I started my period and spotting all the time and would get like two weeks of relief but now I’m 2021 my period won’t go away at all. I got it removed April 12 2021 and I’m still on my period It’s only been a few days since the removal but I’m so ready for my body to get back to normal 😞🙏
I'm sorry you were experiencing that! I hope your symptoms dissipate and you get back to normal soon! 🙏🏽🤗
You’re situation is very similar to mine. I had mine removed Monday after 3 years.
any updates on the bleeding?
So my story is kind of similar to yours, Hailey. I met my (now) husband in May 2020. I got my Nexplanon in June 2020. Got married in July 2021. By the time my wedding arrives I had went from 130 lbs to 155. Gas forward to today, February 2023 , I’m up to 172 lbs. We are ready to try for a child so I have an appointment to get it removed soon. I really didn’t think the birth control had anything to do with the weight gain, but after doing some research lately, I don’t know anymore. I’ve always worked out and eat somewhat clean, but before the birth control, it was easier to get in shape if I buckled down and was disciplined. But ever since Nexplanon, it’s so much harder to lose even a little weight, even working out 5 times a week and avoiding sugar and bad carbs.
Also my general sense of well being and also my memory has been weirdly much worse since the implant. This COULD all be coincidental and everyone says the weight gain is normal for newlyweds. So I am looking forward to my experiences post-Nexplanon. Thanks for sharing! my appointment can’t come soon enough!
Update?
I had every side effect from the nexplanon, stiffness, anxiety, weight gain, bloating, insomnia, indigestion, blank moments, joint pain, thinning of my skin and my bones creaking, i could hear my internal organs, even the sound of my spin creaking, i feel heat always and so uncomfortable, my cellulite became so bad, bumpy skin. I cried always as i never even thought it was the nexplanon . I Complained to my doctor, he sent me for a scan for my spin, colon testing, heart scan, blood test and all test came back okay. I still kept on complaining he sent me to mental health where i was prescribed an anti-depressants tablet. I didnt take it as i know i wasnt depressed. Everything irritated me and i got angry for no reason My blood pressure was up, cant explain what triggered it.. Finally after 3 years i took it out and like a miracle that night i slept like a baby( Insomnia dissapear), within a week i had loads of changes within me like gush of cool breeze, my head fog was clear, my bloating disappear, i couldn't hear the sound of my organs no more and no more pain in my body, it's a month now, i can do situps, i can dance without pains, my bloating is gone, my weight is gone down and am still working on it. My bood pressure from 154/102 all gone down to 120/88. I feel alive. Told my doctor and he said i should try another contraception. I told him i will think about it. That thing could have killed me. So glad i took it off.
UPDATE AFTER NEXPLANON:- got my potassium, collagen, magnesium, vitamin D 3, High strength calcium, Iron tablets to help my body recover. All high strength, juice and salad diet for 2 weeks. I will reduce the strength of these vitamins as my body feels. My blood pressure in now back to normal
I’ve had mine for 2yrs 11 months now, my removal date is next month, I’m excited to see if I’ll change back drastically because it’s been so long. (Ion even remember how i use to be🤣)
Omg same but I'm getting mine removed tomorrow. I don't even remember how I really was 😳 it's been so long. I'm excited to see how my moods will be after. I have been having really bad anxiety and I'm starting to wonder if it's from the implant.
@@jessicarose8357 I’m getting mine out today and I’ve had the worst mental health since being on in !
100% im on the same boat
I’ve been on nexplanon twice and the first time wasnt bad. I didn’t have my period for around 4-6 months and then I got it for around 2 months. But I really didn’t mind it. I went off nexplanon to try something new and went on depo 2 weeks after I took my nexplanon out and that really messed my hormones up. After my depo expired, I went back on nexplanon and since then I gained 30 pounds. It’s been only 2.5 years since I got my last nexplanon. I’m getting it out in 6 days because I’ve been noticing my depression has gotten worse and my anxiety in certain situations would be through the roof. I was 115 pounds in Highschool and it’s been only 2.5 years! I gained 30 pounds! Ugh hopefully this will help me!
For anyone looking at the fertility awareness method, look into the Daysy, it is expensive but so worth it. Takes that 88% up to 99.4% effective which is better than most hormonal birth controls!
I'm so happy you're feeling better! I hope I feel better soon
Thank you! I hope you feel better soon too! 🤗🙏🏽
Getting mine take out today, some days i will eat and it feels like my stomach is bottomless so i keep chugging food to get full. Also experienced depression for no reason as well as super irregular periods, mood swings, and so much more. I had the implant for 2 years now and i think after this i will b doing a natural method birth control
My girlfriend asked me to take her Nexplanon out at home. I'm not recommending anyone else do this but it is a very simple outpatient procedure and we followed the directions. The area bruised for a few days but we kept it clean and it cleared up quickly.
She is very happy afterwards, her initial complaint was libido swings, suicidal ideations, and a lack of umm, self lubrication. You know. Those are resolved now.
There is another reason she wanted that out... ☺️ We're not that far yet but tying up some loose ends first
I’m having mine removed in two days. I honestly feel like nexplanon may have actually FIXED my depression (however i also moved away from my toxic home a month after putting it in) but, i feel like I gained a shit ton of weight and acne due to the implant. I never had a single blemish my whole life, then after three years on nexplanon I have insane amounts of closed comedones and I believe it may have made my HS (hadridenitis supprativa) worse. I have horrible acne now. I also went from 180 to 235 in two years. I am active and I don’t tend to overeat. I basically had to eat absolutely nothing but protein to get my weight to drop down to 214 this year. Another strange thing it’s done is i feel like I require 10-12 hours of sleep and it’s almost impossible to make myself wake up with less than that, and I’ve become such a nap-girl. I was sure for the last year that I had adhd because my brain has been foggy and I can’t seem to focus like I used to- but after some thought I feel like it may be the implant. Im so excited to get it out, but it completely stopped my period for the last 3 years, so I’m not excited to have those back :(
I don't know if its the pregnancy glow but you do look less bloated. Congrats on your pregnancy! Thank you for sharing your experience.
Aww thank you!!! I am in more shape pregnant then I was when I was on the birth control. God is good! 🙌🏽😂
I knew I loved you just how humbly you said welcome back ❤
I got my Implant about a year ago and I gained 40LBS!!! This morning I got it TAKEN OUT AND IM SO HAPPY. I am glad I'm not alone. I wonder how long it'll take for me to start noticing my body bouncing back.... My boobs had crazy growing pain as well so I can't wait for them to go back to their normal self.
Any updates?
I am removing mine tomorrow I had bad experience non stop going for three months being anemia and low on iron your videos helping along with other comments. I
I just got mine out 4 days ago after having an implant for 6 years. The first year I gained 65 pounds. It’s been about 4 days and I have been miserable. I have been nauseous and experiencing crippling headaches. Anyone else?
Curious how long it took you to feel normal again? The thing I've suffered from mostly with the implant is anxiety, brain fog, and feeling off balance/vertigo. I've felt some good changes so far but I have had some headaches that have been bad. Though thankfully it feels like my anxiety is reducing. Tomorrow it will have been a week since I've had it out.
Hi 👋 I really appreciate you making these videos. I've felt/still feel crazy. I've only had the implant out for 5 days now but I've been up and down emotionally. I will say I've had some real moments of peace and calmness that I haven't felt in a very long time. But I still have some anxiety here and there. Your video makes me hopeful though. And I think my body is healing from the hormone changes I just wish it was done today. But I'm glad to be seeing the finish line. A little about my experience: I've had the implant twice before(3 years a piece) and had 6 years of coverage with periods rarely and weight gain but that was all. Fast forward and this is my 3rd implant...it has literally made me want to die. First of all the removal of the second implant was absolutely terrible. I didn't need surgery but they probably should have. They have to tug so much and so long to get it to come out. I ended up passing out... Well then everything seemed fine fast forward 3 months and I started to have anxiety and panic attacks. Without ever having them before in my life. I would also feel off balance/things were spinning/veritigo and brain fog(I couldn't even stand up in the shower anymore. I'd have to sit down and wash myself or my hair. At first I thought it was because of the COVID vaccines, but I had those well before I had this 3rd implant put in. This veritigo and anxiety lasted for a month straight. Then it cleared mostly but would return randomly. And anytime I've had anxiety now it stills makes me experience vertigo as well. It's been 2 years on this 3rd implant and I finally had it taken out 5 days ago. Like I said above, I've had some real moments of clarity and feeling normal and not anxious again that I haven't had since this implant was put in. I hope this can help someone else, and I will try to come back and update when I feel fully normal again 🖤
i need to get my nexplanon taken out. i’ve gained 30 pounds within 4 months and i’ve been on my period for 4 months. it’s terrible.
After remove your nexplanon when your bleedıng stopped?
SAME thing happened to me! Im so glad I had it TAKEN OUT yesterday morning.
I’m getting mine removed next week. I bled for 3 months straight thinking my body would adjust. I went in for a consult and they gave me birth control pills to take for a month. It did stop the bleeding but soon as the birth control pack was finished, I had a very heavy period and I’m still bleeding. I don’t like the idea of having to continue to take pills with my implant when I could have took the pills and been done with it. The whole point was not to take the pills. I really can’t wait to get this thing removed. I really wished it would have worked for me.
This is exactly what happen to meeeeeee
update on the bleeding?

I have been trying to get pregnant since my implant expired & after having the nexplanon for 6 years (1for 3 years then another one to replace that one 3years later) & having it out now since November I’m having no luck. We’ve been trying & trying & I know it’s not him but I think the implant definitely affected my reproductive system
My cousin had the same issue. She started doing Yoni Steams & she says it helped her fertility so much. After doing yoni steams for 2 months (she did a total of 4; 2 each month). After that she tried with her husband & got pregnant
Oh no! Im so sorry to hear that! Have you spoken with your doc? If so, what did they say? Im very curious because a lot ph physicians, such as mine, act like everyone fertility bounces back immediately. I'm sorry you're having trouble getting pregnant. Hopefully it resolves soon!
i would NEVER recommend Nexplanon to anyone.. ever..
SAME
it sucks so much
I actually just got it like a week ago and I’m ready to get it taken out next month at my next appt. I’ve been dealing with cravings, cramps, tenderness, severe headaches, and insomnia.
You are so beautiful! Thanks for the video I just had mine removed after gaining 30 pounds in one year.
I had mine out 2 weeks ago and still no period and I have no idea if I’ve ovulated. I took a pregnancy test today because I wanted to have a drink at dinner tonight with my family. I wish my period would come back so I could know what is going on inside me.
Omggggg this is me asf I’ve had it out for over a month still no period I’m scared
I getting mine out I got it to help me but it did nothing but fuck my mental and physical health up.
to be honest, i got pregnant at 15. my mom wanted me to come to her for bc instead of her talking to me ab safe sex or taking me for birth control. im 18 now and i haven't had sex for a few years. and lessons have been learned for when i do have sex in the future. ive had a lot of negative side effects and have been wanting to remove my implant bc for a while, my mom won't allow it. i feel horrible like i've lost her trust. ive experienced rowdy weight gain, depression, anxiety, sleep loss, hair loss, breakouts, disassociation, literally only have like 2 or 3 periods a year they last 1 or 2 months, mood swings (im not allowed to show emotion other than good ones so i try to manage them to myself) it looks scary to remove the implant at home. and idk if my Medicaid is still like.. on? idk the word. idk i really want this out of me i don't feel comfortable in my own skin anymore.
My (then) husband cut my first one out for me with a (sanitized) razor blade. Super easy, didn't really hurt, almost no scar. (And I scar from EVERY scratch) Second one the Dr put in WAY too deep and they had a really hard time removing. Big scar. Third one was super simple to remove. 3 weeks out and there's barely a mark and didn't have any visible line in my arm where it was (I'm Asian/ white). I loved mine. No weight gain or acne or emotions. Got pregnant first cycle after the first removal. No period for the first year but by 2.5 years, my body has metabolized it and my periods get really heavy, long, and irregular and I need to replace it. Not getting replaced this time since I'm not active.
I took it out 3 weeks ago and I’m already having my period (even when I’m supper irregular with polyquistic syndrome ) and been getting horny lately which for me it’s a good thing because been 1 entire year didn’t want sex at all since been 6 years on nexplanon (2 implants, 1 every 3 years).... I was already having a lot of couples fights for my hormonal problems, since I took it out I feel sooooo good again like a normal woman
Same here. My skin is clear. My hormones seem better and feel so much better. I got it out in April after having it for 9 years!! It took 3 months to get a cycle.... I feel great. 💯💯
I put it in right after giving birth to my second child I was 167 3 months later I was 198 then I went on a crazy weight loss journey I’m now 125 with it still in my arm. I removing it tomorrow though
Getting mine removed in a few days , I’ve gained 60 pounds it’s no way … It’s messed with my mood , anxiety, hair & ect !
27 kg ???? 😱
I’m getting my Nexplanon removed tomorrow! I had it inserted in January 2021 and have been bleeding every single day since March. I was trying to be patient but it is definitely time for removal.
omg i'm in the exact same situation as you. and i got my implant in January as well. any updates on your bleeding?
It’s been 3 years and I’m about to make the appointment to get it out and the past 3 years were hell my mom made me keep it in
I have In the implant and I'm going n take it out 2 years since I have it in . But it's causing me to lose weight rapidly and I am a slim person
I get mines tooken out on Friday I had it 3 years now . I lost weight . Bled so munch and feel totally weird
Congrats momma🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
so i still have it. my emotions have been everywhere.. i been on my period since july of last year ... doc told me to give it 8 more weeks and if it doesn't work to take it out and try something else. im just scared to have to go through the whole emotions again. the hormones.. i've done depo and it didn't work. im scared for IUD because i've heard things on that especially when you get the iud you feel bad cramps like contractions. i don't know. and im aslo not good with the pill
I got my nexplanon put in when I was 17 got two rounds had no period for 6 years straight I got it out a month ago and still haven’t gotten a period I’m scared bc before the implant my period was extremely regular
I just got mines taken out today and feeling to damn big and damn near had a heart attack. They had to take it out. Hell, I wanted to fight everybody n being bipolar n s***. Naw I want my body n my mentality back and having it in for 10 months was not it.
I have had it in 11 months I'm gaining so much weight can hardley walk now my arm is getting sore and arms falling asleep
Did anyone gain weight after taking it out?
Had the implant out like 10 months, still can't get pregnant don't know why. I feel pregnant every month as early as the next day. but I feel something just kills the sperm the next morning. Please what drug can I take to stop it from still working in my body?
I'm getting mine removed plus getting on antidepressants to cope
It has been a month since I got my nexplanon remove. Had my period right before taking it out but I haven't had another period yet. While on nexplanon my period was pretty regular. So now I don't know if taking it out messed with my period or what bc pregnancy test came back negative.
Truly I am curious of the ACTUAL affects on fertility and your overall menstrual cycle because most physicians and statistics make it seem like it is unaffected. Though no having a cycle is sometimes refreshing, I understand it being nerve wrecking! Have you spoken to your doctor about it? If so, What did they say?
@@haileychanelle I didn't talk to a doctor but for the whole month of April I had no period. I actually started my period the same day I wrote this comment. I had my nexplanon for almost 3 years, first year on it had my period maybe 3 times that whole year and then i started getting it more frequently until it became regular but it did last longer than before I got on nexplanon. This first period after having nexplanon removed did seem a bit heavier for the first 2 days but overall it seemed like my regular menstrual cycle before nexplanon.
That’s great! I’m glad it started! And I’m glad it’s not excruciating or overwhelming! 🤗
I got mine out a few days ago and now my books hurt so bad. I hope that's normal lol
lol how funny bless you, you look gorj and you are glowing i have three children and i have had it for a few months i can feel the symptoms and all that it is messing with me
How long did you had it on? I am about to take it out and I am worried if I am going to get my worst period symptom that I had before having it placed
This but the control made my weight drop and no appetite and I had to take it out
So I’m so glad I found this video, I had my cycle during the time of me taking it out, but my cycle is now late 8 days. Did you have a cycle when you got it removed?
Congratulations.. i hop i get pregnant immediately too
I had my nexplanon removed 2 days ago 🎉. Did you start a period immediately after? Day 2 & I'm bleeding & cramping 🤔🤔
How many days after did you have your first period? I got mine removed a week ago and I’m having heavy bleeding for the last 3 days already
Did you have a menstral cycle before getting preg after removal ?
Omg I thought I became naggy for no reason now when I see your videos it's the implant thank u so much am gone remove it next week and congrats on your pregnancy lily from ethiopia 🇪🇹❤️
Hello, Lily from Ethiopia! !🤗TBH it's so hard to know what is true behavior and what the implant is "making" you do. Feeling like you're nagging uncontrollably sucks 😩 I hope the removal goes well and you get back to your normal self! 🤗🙏🏽
@@haileychanelle thank u
How many Years you got your implants before removed? I removed mine since 2020 April but still waiting to conceive
Hi, I agree that Nexpoanon had a very bad effect on me. I became very irritable, I screamed at my children and husband, I had no desire for sex and constant bleeding. This was a bad decision for me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone/
Ladies, when your bleeding stopped after remove your nexplanon?
İ removed it 10 days but my Bleeding is contiue
I got mine out today Thank You for sharing and awww lol 😂
I have the nexplanon and I plan to get it removed and put back in because I cannot afford to get pregnant again for the third time . Can anybody tell me how it is getting it removed ? I am so nervous …
I’ve had it removed and replaced once before, and I will say removal hurt me way more than the initial injection. I’m not sure she did it properly. I am interested in how I will react when I get it out permanently, because 3 months after I got it the first time my anxiety was so bad that I ended up on antidepressants. I hope that I feel better when it comes out!
Yeah I had to get mines out my mood was always down, depressed asf my situation is already difficult I don’t need a Bc method making me feel worse. Also my periods were irregular I like being in control of my body including my cycles. I literally feel like weight has lifted off of me since removing the Nexplanon, it wasn’t for me.
Thank you so much for sharing!
I want to get mine out but I’m terrified of gaining weight (it’s a constant fear of mine) will I gain weight If I take it out I do have good allergies so I don’t eat very much to begin with but I’m still scared my doctor wants to try the one that goes in my uterus but I’m too afraid of that should I take my implant out and see how my body adjusts to not having it for a while before I try a new birth control?
How fast did you get pregnant after removal?
I’m getting this next Monday and I lost 100+ pounds doing the pandemic and I’m terrified of gaining weight and messing up my progress I’ve made
How’d it go for you? I just got mine today 😬
@@kierstenchychi9754 so far so good no weight gain two after I had sorta. Period
That I was off and on bleeding for two weeks but stopped after two weeks. It doesn’t hurt the worst part on sting from the numbing medicine
@@kierstenchychi9754 Any updates ? I'm already 135 and 5'4 I don't wanna turn into a whale omg
How long did it take you to get your first period?
for other people does anyone know if they lost all the birth control weight when they took it out??? when i got off the pill i lost all the weight from it and i’m getting mine out in less than a week, i can’t get rid of this weight on me and need to know
Did you end up losing the weight?
I go to the clinic today to take it out the doc is like “it’s not cuz of the nexpalnon maybe come back in 2 week with changing diet” like wtf, btw No one really said anything about weight lost after taking the nexpalnon out me looking all the comments 😂 I know we gain a lot but how much y’all lose after the birth control is out?! Someone pls?!
How was your removal ??
@@viviangonzalez2520 the stupid doc said “since u wanna remove cuz u gain weight try this diets cuz birth control never gain weight” like wtf so I go and check with her in two week she try to tell me about more diet I gain 2 more pounds which she said “we don’t call u gain weight unless it’s like 5 pounds in 2 weeks I’m like “sorry no more diet all my friends said “after they remove they lose weight so I’m going to take out she gave me another app for removal which will be next week Tuesday!!
@@KhaiMuang14 Man, like I appreciate they are trying to give us information before we make a split decision and all but after the first “Oh just wait 2 weeks!” They shouldn’t argue with you. It’s YOUR body. I have an appointment with my doc tomorrow to schedule a time for removal and i’m not leave any room for the “You should wait” speech after reading this lol 😂
I’m so scared to get it removed
Its really not that bad! I had mine removed only 2 hours ago and it was fine! :)
@@MsYonike thank you for the encouragement!
Did your sex drive change with the nexplanon removal? I feel like mines has decreased since having it and I’m getting it removed in two weeks
i just got mine out and day 1 my sex drive improved. i didn’t notice how bad it was until they took it out.
Yes definitely brought back my libido once removed
First comment!! At least I think so lol ok let me watch the vid...
LOVE THIS🤣 don't worry, you are!
OMG congrats!!! That's all I'll say so as to not spoil your announcement. Thanks for the update!
Thank you so much!!!🤗
Will the scar last forever I would cry I don’t want a permanent scar on my arm.😭
yea
well that took a turn lmfao
🤣
Congratulations!
Thank you! 🤗
I’ve had nexplanon for 2- 3 years in my arm and I had it taken out 6 months ago and I still have no periods. And I do not have a partner. Or haven’t had one since last year of 2020. Anyone else have this problem?
Yes I only have a period once a year after removing it. I’m trying to get my periods back in check
@@shanitahnantongo510 I'm starting to have periods but mine are irregular. I would skip a couple of months and have one that would last a couple of days and then gone. It's really weird..My main concern is if this form of birthcontrol harms anything with reproduction.
Hey did you have acne? I’m suffering from acne and I don’t know if it’s from the implants
Same, I have always had the best skin and ever since I got my implant🫠literally I have so much acne and soooo many scars💔
You are not alone, diz implants affected me,am suffering with acne all over my face bt thank God I removed it last week
