As someone who a) wears a suit to work and b) lives in a tropical climate a quality linen suit is the most wonderful thing.

@LostDutchman You are correct. Nothing like linen on a hot steamy day. All the wrinkles in the right places. You may like my video on how to fold a jacket for your luggage without wrinkles. Enjoy!!! ruclips.net/video/rJ3sfiUx_uo/видео.html

Don't have a linen suit yet but looking for one. I have linen short and long pants and shirts. I did just buy a seersucker suit, another traditional summer staple.

@JT-rx1eo Thanks for watching. Linen and seersucker are very popular this season. I have a new linen called Dynamic linen from Italy. Comes in beautiful colors as denim blue, stone grey, light lilac, plus all the classics as navy, white and black. Good for suits, jackets and pants. Unlined jackets would be nice too. Its a different weave of linen that helps reduce wrinkles. It still wrinkles, but not as much. If you need anything please get in touch. Thanks again.

I wonder about the lining blocking the cooler qualities of a linen jacket or suit jacket.

@williamkazak469 Hi William and thanks for watching this video. Linen is great in warm summer months, no question. I also really like half lined or what is normally called an unconstructed jacket with little or no padding and light weight canvas. The lining is not really there to be an insulator in a suit or jacket whether linen or summer/winter wool. Most linings in better made suits are made from Bemberg which is a derivative of sorts of Cupro which is made from cotton. Its silky so when a jacket is put on it slides on neatly against the shirt and allows the jacket fabric to fall naturally. To sum up, the lining is not really making the linen jacket warmer, but without a lining it does make it lighter in weight on your body. I hope that helps.
