This is truly amazing. I had to travel in a train in India to attend a wedding and I used this method to pack my jacket in a duffle bag. And when I reached my hotel and unfolded it, it was in perfect shape! If this method works for a long journey on an Indian train with soft luggage it's truly foolproof! Thanks for this!

I’m packing my suit for my 5th and final interview. I’m flying overseas with about 19 hours total travel time and was worried about my suit being wrinkled going into my interview, but I found your very great, step by step video and that’s one less thing I have to worry about. Update: Got the job! Suit was perfect after the flight and my flight was delayed and I had almost no time to get ready after I landed. If I did not fold it following your direction I would have gone to the interview with a wrinkled suit. I’m so happy I found your video!!!! Thanks!!!!
Thank you. I tried this and NO wrinkles or creases at all. I put my folded dress shirts in an Eagle Creek Pack-It folder and pladed that between the upper half and bottom half folds. This fits perfects in the top of my carry on.
I'm headed to Japan tomorrow with 2 suits... total travel time before unpacking at the hotel will be about 23 hours. I will use your method and report back. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for watching the video. So you say the thigh area is tight. If you do not have fabric inside to let out a good tailor can add a piece of fabric between the legs in the crotch area. This will give you more room in the thigh because the crotch which is probably also tight will drop down a bit. If not then you need to buy a new pant in a new size. Thanks.

@Zena McFarland Gentris Hi, thanks for watching. You could use this fold to fold your suits in q drawer, however, if they stay folded for a very long time any fabric will eventually wrinkle. With that said your drawer is not like luggage that is zipped up with other items keeping pressure on the suits for a short period of time. It may work. Hello. n the last part of this fold please gently let the jacket naturally fold lover your arm and place in your luggage. Sleeves should come out fine. Make sure they are straight until your fold over at the end. Thanks.
I had the same thing, but fortunately sleeves are quick and easy to iron at your hotel. The best thing about this method is that it keeps the shoulders from getting rumpled, as the shoulders are a pain to iron properly.
@@Rick-5728 If only you could take an iron aboard a cruise ship. ;-( Instead, it must go to housekeeping and it can take anywhere from a day to two to get your garment back.

This DOES NOT work for full canvased suit!!! I tried, and regretably damaged my Canali! The suit jacket was in the carry-on, and it will nver get back to what it was!!!
As I mentioned in my response to your prior post, any real full canvas Canali suit or jacket will have no problem being folded this way or any way. That is the beauty of full canvas. That is why Canali suits start around $1895. I have had many Canali suits over the years, folded them all this way and sometimes do not open the luggage for 3 days upon my return from a trip. They use the best fabrics that allow any wrinkles to fall off the garment without pressing. This fold is able to minimize the wrinkling by making the shoulder pads flat. That is the key to this fold.

I don't have enough space in my apartment for my clothes, so how can I fold my suits to always put in a drawer, til I wear them?

Rick Lee if you let your garment hand for a few hours any wrinkles should fall out.
George Dean Hi George. Please see my above reply. If you let the jacket hang on a hangar for a short time, any unforeseen wrinkles should disappear.
