Catalina Island - good choice for a day outing! Mediterranean vibe with shops and restaurants, cobblestone (small) streets downtown and where else can you take a 45 minute boat trip to be on an island and rent a golf cart to take a tour of it?
Yeah, yeah, we know that's how it's pronounced in Spanish, and Texas... But most people, including the people who live in B.H. pronounce it Road-ee-oh. Common usage trumps linguistically correct every time.
@@notme103 No, no they absolutely positively do not. I'm 50 years old, born, raised, and currently residing in Los Angeles. I live on the west side less than 15 miles from Rodeo Dr. Never in my life have I heard an Angeleno pronounce it Road ee oh. No once. People would laugh at you. You obviously don't live here. Where do you come up with this nonsense?
Los Angeles? Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, West Hollywood, Long Beach, and Catalina Island are NOT part of Los Angeles. But 6 out of 12 ain't too bad.

Thank you for commenting, we understand your point. The intention is to show an overview of Los Angeles region (Los Angeles County).
They're part of L.A. County, despite being outside of the L.A. city limits. 😒🙄😤🤦🏿♂️
yes but any native Angeleno knows it's ALL LA or Greater LA. Stop. You don't have to be from the City to be in 'LA'.
Beats the tent city.
