what kind of naming conveniton you suggest to avoid files with the same name. Lets say we have a "Sales Report.xls" file, one file for season, we can have "Season" as a column of metadata, but all the files can't have the same name.
What is the easiest way to get rid of nested folders in a document library and to have a flat architecture? Currently have a document library with too many folders and nested folders but like to put all documents in one doc library without a folder
Yes and no. Seeminly with a powerapp & metadatacolumns linked to tags you can, but in my experience sharepoint triggers of powerapps are unreliable and if there is any chance that sensitive information may not be 100% locked with the correct permissions then i would always make a separate library with more restrictive permissions at the library level.
Beauty! and this goes for both the presenter and the presentation.
Do you have a video on how you created your columns?

Can you change permissions of the doc based on a metadata value? For example it doesnt make sense to display un approved documents to non approvers.

When is the meta data added and if I sync the sharepoint site to my computer is the meta data there as a search facility
Thank you it was very interesting. It would be great if you could show us more about how to create views. Thanks again
Great Video. It‘s true. Tagging is very hard for many people to understand ...
Colinda, like the video.
Thank you. Good resource for learning about taxonomy and SharePoint meta.
Thank you for the feedback - we're glad you found this useful!
