  • Dr. Trevor Boffone is the Beyonce of Bellaire High School in Houston, Texas. He has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram - all because of his viral videos in the classroom. Dr. Boffone wanted a way to connect with his students and asked them to teach him some dance moves like the ones seen on Dubsmash and TikTok. In just six weeks, he racked up 50,000 followers. Now he has millions of views and followers around the country! Dr. Boffone says he's not afraid to dance like no one's watching, but he knows plenty of people are.

WOW! Engaging with your students and making learning FUN is how ALL students should be learning. This Teacher is such a great example of how learning can be fun. Children should have as much fun in their lives while they are children because becoming an Adult means having great responsibility everyday and that is not always fun.

Wow this is so awesome!!! So love this teacher/student bond!!! I didn't want the interview to end. To hear the student say she wants to learn because of him is outstanding!!! He's so amazing for taking the time to reach out to his students in such a way they could connect and relate, build trust and bond. If only there were more teachers willing to do the same. 🙏❤💯

Absolutely LOVE!!!! The utmost respect is given to teachers who connect as humans, not just through educational roles. When the learning goes beyond ciriculum, and reaches a soulful level. THIS is what these kids will carry with them on a deeper level. Hopefully they'll try to recall\ describe these encounters while speaking Spanish 😉 but either way, I believe this kind of connection is what most Educators hope for.

This is so great! I’m a special ed high school teacher and I did similar teaching actions like this incredible teacher. I remember dancing“the Macarena” in the hallway, during classes with my students lined up and sometimes students would walk by us and were envious of my kids! So I was asked by those students to come in the cafeteria and we started dancing sometimes. It helps with a sense of belonging, at least for my students. Thank you so much sir for being a great great teacher for your kids!!!
