I'm very glad to hear this piece, finally, so many thanks to Christophe Dejour for posting this. And thanks for including the excerpt from my article about José Tomás from Guitars International's catalogue.
Great playing and an excellent piece that truly deserves more attention! Segovia was an important figure in many respects, but he also unfortunately managed to discourage some excellent composers (Frank Martin, for instance) and nice music has therefore been forgotten. We are lucky that some people dig out these pieces nowadays and share them!
Somewhere Espla is smiling. Very wonderful playing!
Congratulations!
Fantastic job Christophe !!
Wow such stunning control of the instrument - beautiful Christopher
You're right this piece isn't played enough! I had never heard it - sure wish I had back when I was studying. Thanks and great job!

Great performance! Congratulations! 👌👌👌👍
I play this piece too! Is super cool. Espla + José + Asencio = perfect combo :)
Another terrific performance of a terrific 20th century piece by a composer I hadn't heard of! Thanks!

We want more! How are you? We hope you are well
Why do you think he quoted the Dies Irae at 3:38?
great execution, do you know where to buy the sheet music?
