The manager, and league position both need to improve, before any ins are discussed. No point discussing a marquee player, if they are going to be relegated. Team would have to be at least 14th, with a decent gap on 18th, to have a realistic shot at players in January. No point bringing in a player, if he wouldn't suit the manager system. In the what if world: Max Aarons, Denzel Dumfries, James Tarkowski, James Ward-Prowse, Milikovic-Savic, Osmane Dembele, Noni Madueke, could all be (semi) realistic targets in January.

I think it’s going to be much harder for Newcastle to get competitive again. Largely due to the fact there are many rich clubs now. It’s not like when City and Chelsea were taken over, and billionaire owners were rare. They are everywhere now. So the only way Newcastle can build is to be incredibly quick scouting talent or pay extreme wages to persuade players to join. And if they bring in salary caps, which there’s talk of, then Newcastle can’t offer anything over the other established clubs.
Yeah the novelty of being a billionaire club is over....it's becoming the norm. What is Man Utd, Liverpool Arsenal get took over by billionaires? What does it mean? The players/agents get MUCH richer!!! Not the fans
Superstar names would be no good for us atm we need to be going for good solid players as a foundation to build on, imo players like Lingard, Van de beek, ward prouse etc is where we should be looking
Rangnick wants total control and I don't think the Saudis would want to give so much power to him already. So I think rather someone like Campos might work for them to control as director and get a coach who is solely a coach
Hey @Football Daily, I Know there was no harm intended but Patto referred to Silas Katompa Mvumpa as „Wamangituka“ which was the name he was forced to use by his old agent.
Bookmakers made millions from the good news from Newcastle. The deal was profitable for everyone and I am happy that Newcastle for the first time brought the Saudis together in support of one club.
As a liverpool supporter they could probably apprise Alex Ox and Takumi Minamino from us for what 30-40m combined. Takumi is very versatile and still young enough and Ox fits the attacking mid role.
If Newcastle wanted to get a striker in the January window, they could go for Paco Alcácer. I would love to see him in the Premier League. Luka Jović would be great at well. Hopefully he gets a move somewhere to get his form back on track.
Hard to persuade and COULD cost an absolute fortune due to recent contract but JWP from Southampton would be an incredible addition, set piece absolute masterclass
For me I think I can see them going for: Manager: Lucien Favre DOF/Sporting Director: Ralf Rangnick GK I think they'll stick with a fit Dubravka CB Tarkowski CDM Boubacar Kamara CM/CAM Aouar ST Luca Jovic
I don't think the squad needs a massive overhaul as some are thinking. We've got a good squad, and any decent manager who knows what he's doing, would get this squad comfy mid table. Rafa proved that, after all, his last season, we were the best defence BESIDES the usual big six. We should be aiming to keep the core of the squad, while removing certain players and upgrading them. Letting go of one or two of the keepers, Hendrick, Gayle, Krafth. I'd even be tempted to get rid of Shelvey because of his inconsistency. I'd keep for sure, ASM, Almiron, Wilson, Willock, Dúbravka, Fernández, Lewis, Hayden, Lascelles, Schar, Ritchie, Manquillo, Fraser. Keep for now, and slowly build the squad for the better. Anyone else, I'm unsure of atm.
Paredes is fantastic, look at him with Argentina. He is the heart of the team with de paul. He doesn't play much because verrati is one of the best but he is not far behind
Agree completely. Also Martinez in the Arg side is a revelation in goal, big 2nd tier teams, like Newcastle are aiming at, should try and get him from Villa.
@@PaddyMcMe he is one of the best keepers in the world rn, he has been very good dor arsenal, amazing for villa and unreal for Argentina and he is only 28, for a gk that's fantastic
Damn you’re probably right about the talent level we have and I’m probably just too attached to these players but I do know Isaac Hayden isn’t ass. When he’s playing complementing shelvey as the two midfielders he’s good and makes our midfield competent
Divock Origi would be a great option for Newcastle in January. Him and Saint Maximin would make a great partnership and Origi would score goals if they play to his strengths. He`s quick and tall, so you can play him in behind on the counter or use him as a hold-up striker. Klopp has been clear on the fact that he was and is available for the right price. Maybe they can get him for 20-25 mill. All parties win.
Greetings, I am new fan to your RUclips channel.. I am a Liverpool fan. Hey Newcastle…congratulations. Pay no attention to the haters trying to bring up human rights. Ask your haters to protest Facebook.? What some people might not realise is that they probably use products backed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) all the time. Disney, Uber, Facebook and Starbucks are just some of the companies to have received hundreds of millions of pounds from PIF, which owns 80% of Newcastle.15 hours ago
What about David Turnbull to Newcastle? I have no clue what his contract or financial situation is but he's young, played very well in Scotland and shows promise. He'd also surely be much cheaper option than many.
@@AlbanianLlama bvb is a selling club so Newcastle could definitely get Belligham at around 50 millions pounds, Koulibaly will leave napoli if they don't win the league, Laporte city already tried to sell him, De Ligt is talking about leaving juve and his agent is raiola..so definitely could join newcastle..Oblak and Oyarzabal will come with a high price but they definitely worth all of it
I feel like Hayden haters don't watch him week in, week out. When he's used properly (and not in a back 3), he's so important to us. Does the dirty work and great at breaking up the attacks but on paper, probably doesn't do a lot.
Amazing! All these names of fantastic footballers; however, as I watch Newcastle every home match you have so misunderstood the situation of our team. Joelinton is not a striker, he's a left winger. This is part of our problem with Steve Bruce. We've had a left winger playing as a No 9, Dwight Gayle ( a striker) playing on the right wing, Issac Hayden (DM) playing as a CB and Almiron (a No 10) playing everywhere else. Steve Bruce's strategy has been to confuse the opposition into submission. In January we need a good centre-back such as Jack Henry from FC Bruges, a right-back such as Tariq Lamptey from Brighton, a midfielder like Connor Gallagher from Chelsea (sorry Crystal Palace, but tough) and a striker for when Callum Wilson is next on the treatment table. I'd like Lampard to be given a go, but I have a feeling it will be a bigger name to make a real statement.
What is it with the obsession of hiring Lampard. He has only been a manager for 2.5 seasons and at Derby he made no difference and at Chelsea he had an abundance of resources unlike Newcastle for this season. Valverde would be safe hands. He nearly went invincible with Barca with the same garbage defence that is playing now still.
Might sound silly but maybe grabbing a Cavani for a year or two might be worthwhile. Coutinho is a decent option considering the position he plays and their needs plus he is still a name. Hell a Zlatan for just 1 year would be fun too. Get people watching.
If they are immediately appointing a manager whose style is more attacking and high defensive line orientated then they should sign defenders with more pace and one on one defending capabilities and an anchoring midfielder. The attacking players are ok for now....
Pulisic would be brilliant in bringing in the American fans early as well. I just don’t see him coming. I do think they’re ready to spend £100m in January
Goalkeeper-onana (free transfer Right back - Aarons (25 million) Centre back - koulibaly (40 million) Centre back - tarkowski (free transfer) Left back - grimaldo (20 million?) Central defensive midfielder-zhakaria (free transfer) Centre defensive midfielder - bissoma (35 million) Right winger- almiron (Already got) Central attacking midfielder - Lindgard (free transfer) Allax Saint maximam (already got) Striker- Jovic (35 million) That's 155 million, so you've got an extra 35 million to add or adjust with, as apparently they've got 190 million.
There's a lot to solve at Newcastle, and it can't all be done in January, unfortunately. For me, Potter is the standout choice for manager (though I think he'd say no), as he'll oversee the transition into money and improve the playing style. Player-wise, short-term we need to try and bring in players who'll benefit the ones we've already got. I can see a 5-2-3 of Dubravka, Murphy, Schar, Lascelles, new CB (Botman would be my shout, or Lacroix from Wolfsburg), Ritchie, Willock, new CDM (could do worse than Bennacer, McKennie, or Demme), Saint-Maximum, Wilson, and a new RW/LW/forward (Aouar I like, and I wouldn't turn my nose up at Perisic as a short term purchase).
Yeah it's going to be gradual. BUT at least they can only go one way now.... Manager and two players in Jan. Mid table. Then three new players in the summer....Top 6... Then top 4..then challenge. 4-5 years.
F. Kessie, D. Van de Beek, J. Tarkowski, F. Bernadeschi, Hugo Siquet, A. Martial all expiring/unwanted would be a europa league places challenging team straight away.
They need to purchase some proven EPL players to help integrate.. They need an outright proven premier league 11.. I'd go for Ward-Prowse, bring back Milner, Sam Johnstone, Max Aarons, Cantwell, bring back Ivan Toney & Armstrong, Dunk, Tarkowski, keep Jamal Lewis in LB, St. Max on the other wing & Newcastle are in the top 7
In all honesty..after all the 💩we’ve put up with under Ashley I don’t care where the money comes from..I’m just a humble fan who wants to hope in my team again

In the what if world:
Max Aarons, Denzel Dumfries, James Tarkowski, James Ward-Prowse, Milikovic-Savic, Osmane Dembele, Noni Madueke, could all be (semi) realistic targets in January.
Us Newcastle fans want just owners that care about the club and are ambitious. After 14 years with Mike Ashley it is a breath of fresh air and i couldn t be happier
I get u and respect u for that and Newcastle fans defo deserve it but something about this takeover smells bad and I don’t see this ending well
@@Josh-wh9ie in a couple of days of the new ownership i have seen more communication than in 14 years with ashley. Amanda seems to be ambitions and wants to do something good here
@@caza277 I’m sorry mate but the reason they bought u was to clear up their reputation and paint a good image for Saudi Arabia they may invest but not for Newcastle for themselves
@@Josh-wh9ie that may well be the reason but imo if it was that they would have given up when they couldn’t complete the takeover last time
Pope, Tarkowski, Zaha, Cantwell, Martial. Even them alone would be a huge leap forward 👍
Suggesting Allardyce is hillarious. West Brom went down because of him last 2 CBs + 2CMs + 2 forward players. That's what we need.
❤️❤️
Bookmakers made millions from the good news from Newcastle. The deal was profitable for everyone and I am happy that Newcastle for the first time brought the Saudis together in support of one club.
As a liverpool supporter they could probably apprise Alex Ox and Takumi Minamino from us for what 30-40m combined. Takumi is very versatile and still young enough and Ox fits the attacking mid role.
If you are going for a bit bigger names in midfield, what do you think about milinkovic-savic? Maybe Weston-McKennie?
Weston lacks technique, Sergej Savić is his polar opposite although physically speaking they are both good. Recruiting both players will help.
I wish JWP to Spurs
For me I think I can see them going for:
Manager: Lucien Favre
DOF/Sporting Director: Ralf Rangnick
GK I think they'll stick with a fit Dubravka
CB Tarkowski
CDM Boubacar Kamara
CM/CAM Aouar
ST Luca Jovic
I don't know why we didn't talk about Favre more! I had him down in my bloody research.
[Hamill]
Dreaming. ASM will likely be the only player still there this time next year its a Championship squad.
honestly imagine Sunday vibes in front of a small live crowd in a pub. it would be insanely fun
Fantastic discussion as always! The ice in the drinks was absolutely maddening 😳 Straws are a must if there's ice in the drink
Newcastle in next transfer window
Here comes the money 💸💸💸💸
Greetings, I am new fan to your RUclips channel.. I am a Liverpool fan.
Hey Newcastle…congratulations. Pay no attention to the haters trying to bring up human rights.
Ask your haters to protest Facebook.?
What some people might not realise is that they probably use products backed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) all the time. Disney, Uber, Facebook and Starbucks are just some of the companies to have received hundreds of millions of pounds from PIF, which owns 80% of Newcastle.15 hours ago
The dream team is back
Very enjoyable commute! Still waiting on Joe to put us in the drop zone for next seasons predictions (if we stay up!)
What about David Turnbull to Newcastle? I have no clue what his contract or financial situation is but he's young, played very well in Scotland and shows promise. He'd also surely be much cheaper option than many.
Tarkowski, Barrios, Ward-Prowse, Aouar and Mbabu/Tavernier! Players like Nandez would be quality, realistic additions too
Realistic transfer targets for Newcastle :
Gk: Navas (winter) Oblak (summer)
RB: Trippier, Livramento
LB: Borna Sosa, Marcelo
CB: Laporte, Koulibaly or De Ligt, Lenglet
CM: Belligham, Bissouma, Kessie, Fabian Ruiz
AM/winger: Aouar, Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic, Wirtz,
FW: Oyarzabal, Lang or De Ketelaere
ST: Vlahovic (winter) Isak or Osimehn
We will never get Bellingham or any of those defenders, same goes for Oblak and Oyarzabal
Pat is always spot-on with these players ages lmao
This video is quality just pulling random names out of anywhere and suggesting them loved it 😂
Doing it 'on the day' is our speciality, lool
[Hamill]
Joachim Low as Manager, has the name, gives result, expert in identifying and impriving young talent...
Always appreciate you guys bringing up social issues. Big up!
❤️❤️❤️
Watching this back now is hilarious
I'm not sure Lampard is the right man for a relegation battle. Whoever it is needs experience of that situation.
Great shout ! Ralf is coming to Nufc and like you guys said as interim manager and later continues on as director of football
Sceszny, Ramsey and Rabiot for Newcastle
Yeh, get the Udinese boys in too.
Boubacar Kamara, Botman and Aouar
GK : Leno/Henderson/Johnstone
We don’t need a keeper we have dubravka and darlow
Paolo Dybala, James Rodríguez, and or Isco for Newcastle summer transfers.
Goalkeeper-onana (free transfer
Right back - Aarons (25 million)
Centre back - koulibaly (40 million)
Centre back - tarkowski (free transfer)
Left back - grimaldo (20 million?)
Central defensive midfielder-zhakaria (free transfer)
Centre defensive midfielder - bissoma (35 million)
Right winger- almiron (Already got)
Central attacking midfielder - Lindgard (free transfer)
Allax Saint maximam (already got)
Striker- Jovic (35 million)
That's 155 million, so you've got an extra 35 million to add or adjust with, as apparently they've got 190 million.
❤️❤️
I want a chat with the guy at juve coming up with the idea to sign Ramsey on 400k a week. Even as a free transfer.. shocking
I reckon Cavani could be tempted over, boys. Guaranteed game time with a sick wage. I reckon he deserves it.
Be a great shout , would given 15 pl goals at least if played every week ✌️✌️
Newcastle were interested in Boubacar Kamara in the summer but didn’t have the funds to secure a deal, can see them going back in for him as their DM
❤️❤️
Love coming back to Videos like this and just seeing how arrogant and wrong they were 😂😂
Really Like the Tuanzebe shout, wouldn't be too expensive. But I agree that Tarkowski on a free is low risk and probably more sensible
They can aim higher than thAT. Bargains are in the foreign leagues not premiership!
❤️❤️❤️
@@markcrisp07 agree as well. Just was talking to the tuanzebe point they made. Botman would be excellent as well!
In all honesty..after all the 💩we’ve put up with under Ashley I don’t care where the money comes from..I’m just a humble fan who wants to hope in my team again
My new club 🙌
Our new club!
"I dont remember the last time a team was dragged up the table by their defensive midfielder" *Kante shocked face*
