All I would say on this basis, is that Newcastle fans act like they’re the on,y team with a bad owner, when there’s many more teams out there with owners who are just as bad (Southampton, Burnley, Norwich etc) and many that are worse and cause their clubs to go into administration
As a Newcastle fan, I can't speak for everyone, but I know most of our fans accept that other clubs are worse off - but that doesn't mean we aren't poorly ran. It doesn't mean we don't have our own problems, and it doesn't mean we can't want better and want more ambition. It could be worse for us, but I've always said, we could be the next club that goes into administration with the way things were going. I do feel for the fans of those clubs that are suffering, leagues need more regualtions to prevent awful owners, to prevent what happened with Derby, Bury and Bolton etc.

Not a massive fan of the oil money but it has made the Premier league more competitive. United, City, Leicester, Liverpool and Chelsea have all won the Premier in the last nine years. All the other major leagues in Europe are far more predictable.

He's not that far off. Only reason I give Utd a bit more slack for spending money, is because a lot of their domination came because they either brought players through their academy, or developed players at a young age (see Ronaldo for instance). I don't believe Utd spent over £40m on a player in the SAF era. Chelsea and Man City outright bought success. I don't even mind. The only four teams in existence who never bought success and had success over a long period were Liverpool of the 70's (and their squad now), AC Milan and Man Utd of the 90's and 00's, and the Messi/Xavi/Iniesta era at Barca. That's pretty much it, you need to buy success now. It's what it is.

Only the 9th most successful club in English football 14 total trophies, a 52k seater stadium, a loyal fanbase and decent history. Yeah we haven't won anything for decades, but that doesn't mean we aren't big. We aren't the size of Man Utd in terms of success and fan size/stadium, but we're certainly not a small club.
