Well so much for the secret bait theory. Good try Tom but I bet your first video of this year someone will ask you what is your secret pack bait. Thanks for the fun video.
Hello, can you clarify what materials should be mixed to make bait for fishing carp in the winter, knowing that I am from Iraq? I would be grateful to you.
Dam tom those carp are eating better than i am! To me its all about the pack bait. Its the feeding frenzy starter. I guess the outside with tom fishing team knows how to make pack bait after this video. Get on board and put some giants on the bank.
I remembered when you sliced your finger on the can lid originally. I carry a slice scar from almost fifty years ago from a can of tuna. Wonder how we survived our youth?
My friend adds salt to his mix starting in July i dont know if it makes a difference .. . He's usually coming out when i'm coming in from night catfishing.
Tom I want to order some of your seasoned jars of feed corn and tiger nuts but I'm not sure when? I mean the fishing won't be good for another month and a half. How long will they keep in the fridge?
Last summer I started using soybean meal from my local feed store. Packs nice mixed with just a little flour, and the carp seem to enjoy it all the same. $16 for 50lb here
@@OutsidewithTom I'm in Kentucky. Horse country so there's carp ingredients galore at the feed stores. But if you're in an area with livestock then soybean meal should be somewhere nearby. My local owned feed and farm store has it. It's not something you'll see on a shelf so you have to ask for it and they fill the bag on the spot based on how much you want. I like to use it in deeper spots, most of it stays on the bottom but some particles will sit in the water column, my thoughts being it will draw down carp swimming above. I store it in a food grade bucket and it has a very long shelf life if it stays dry.
I get skunked sometimes just like everybody else, but I don't think that has anything to do with the bait. I think the carp like it all, calories are calories, they're not picky.

Coincidentally, I got attacked by a veg peeler the other day just like that can lid attacked me. It's a dangerous world out there. 🙂

I think the Brits add salt in winter.
No measurements needed just get it to the consistency you like

Tiger nuts are also known as Chufa seeds.
You can catch carp all year round. You just have to go deeper
A year or more. Check out the info in the description on the website.
Moral of the story "It's whatever I feel like each day". Why am I just noticing the Shop the Outside with Tom Store? Is Tom's Tackle new?
Yep.
Do you go to trade shows like Cat Con?
I don't.
Where can I get feed corn
Feed store.
FYI Sams CLUB rolled old fashion oats . Members Mark Brand $7.99 for 10 lbs. , compared to Quaker $ 11.25 for 10lb.
Both are good deals.
Yes sir, I get mine at Sam's.

@@unclejerry88Nice. Soybean meal must be a regional thing, I've never seen it in feed stores here in Iowa. What state you in?

Tom- Has there ever been a pack bait recipe that didn’t work? I know the marshmallow hook bait didn’t go too well.

WHERE CAN I GET 10LBS OR SOOF SWEET PEA PELLETS
