      I live a few kilometers from Glasgow myself. That would be Glasgow, Delaware USA. I live a little more than 1 hour from Philadelphia and I can't get these games on TV because my cable service won't provide it .I have minimal service for 50 dollars a month.

    Bryce Harper has the greatest career postseason OPS in MLB history among players with 200 or more plate appearances. That's a real stat. Absolute legend.

    Bryce is such a Chad of a human. My mans ran through the catcher and got the run but stood by him to make sure he's gonna be okay. That's sportsmanship right there

      Good take. His immediate concern showed he didn't mean it. He tried to keep his elbows tucked in. Nothing wrong with that play - except for Marte's throw.

      And before anyone tries to say he did it intentionally, just.. no. Bryce isn't risking his _other_ elbow to take a cheap shot on a young catcher for literally no reason.

      Forget sportsmanship!! If that guy's blocking the plate, you have to try to go through him. Nobody does anything like that anymore. No breaking up double play balls it's getting ridiculous.

I am saying is that a small act to help because the catcher literally didn't get up after the hit shows that Bryce is a respectable guy on AND off the field. Also the guy was on concussion protocol twice I'm pretty sure so it was genuine concern even if you are the opponent

      Harper is rock solid. He's working on making himself an MLB legend. The guy is just amazing. That's coming from someone who isn't a Phillies fan, but Harper just might make we one.

      my guess was that was designed, because you can see stott hesitate before approaching the base, and since it wasn’t a batted ball situation, the run counts as soon as harper touches the plate.
      it was definitely a marbles move

      ​@@jbdixon4020it as a very smart play by all, and certainly designed to bait the catcher and allowing Harper to go home. Either way, in that position, you can steal a base. If Harper fake ran with the player at first, one of the two is grabbing a base

    Baseball aside, in the 1st inning when Harper and Moreno had that collision Harper’s first instinct and even the instant look of “oh no” shows how much this man has grown. And this is coming from a Braves fan. Phillies are our second biggest rival and some would argue our biggest. But I’m not ashamed to say I love Bryce. Over the years I’ve learned to respect him so much. I really hope he gets his chip ❤️

    Really feels like we are going to see the rematch of last years WS. Phillies are on an absolute tear. The Houston Astros just refuse to quit. I expect the rematch to be even better!

    Jeff Hoffman continues to be tied with Alvarado for my favorite bullpen pitcher. Just gets the job done quick and beautifully when he's out there. Finish this Monday, Phils!

    So happy the Phillies won this, but man, I hope Moreno is okay tomorrow. Concussions can set in 24 hours afterwards after you go to sleep and the brain swells/bleeds. He was out cold for a second or two.

      Who cares about that guy?? It's good to see some aggressive play. Nobody breaks up double plays anymore, barely any contact when the catcher blocks the plate. It's ridiculous how soft all professional sports has gotten.

    The umpiring in this series, especially in Arizona, has been horrendous. Both behind the plate and on check swings. For both teams.

    This is further proof of Bryce Harper EARNING the boos at opposing stadiums. When's the last time someone stole home plate in the first inning of a championship series? It doesn't happen very often.

    I think the Phillies let the first two games get to their head. They were two great wins, but the Diamondbacks are there for a reason too. It’s not supposed to be a free ride to the World Series

    Someone had a sign saying there's no crying in baseball philly fans. I wonder who's crying now. ;) I know the series isn't over and I am worried about Game 6 because the Phillies have blown leads in the past against this Diamondbacks team. It's not over until the fat lady is singing but Game 5 felt great to Win. I was actually paranoid and expecting the Phils to blow the lead again like Game 4. I was personally not confident in Game 5. I am glad I was proven wrong.

      If its a totally ridiculous strike or ball call yes, but this is one area of baseball that I dont think you mess with. If an ump is giving the corner or maybe a little off for both sides, fine. But horrible below the knees above the letters yes it needs to be looked at
