It’s been such a crazy season for my Dbacks. Would love to get the win tomorrow, but I’ll be proud of this team no matter what. How about Marte though? So good for us in the postseason.

The fact that the D-Backs are taking this series to 7 games shows that it's not fluke for them to be here. Playoff baseball shows teams for what they are more than any other sport.

I really thought Braves vs Phillies would be the best series this postseason. Phillies handled it. I cant believe how great this series has been! The Dbacks have earned everyones respect and they may go to the World Series. Hyped for game 7!
The Braves didn’t show up. As a Braves guy, they lost their edge when they clinched the division in Philly. I’m glad AZ won though. A team with an A on their cap should always beat the Phillies.
@@jeremiah_12 The pitching rotation of the Braves was beat up by the end of the season, then the hitting went ice cold. If either one of those were not an issue, the Braves would have won.

Ketel Marte may not have the HRs like Harper or Schwarber, but between his clutch hitting & fielding, he's been HUGE this postseason.

Like I've been saying all year, Marte is the rockstar of this team...
I'm both happy and nervous. This is the first Game 7 in the playoffs for the D-backs since 2001. Unlike 2001, they don't have home field. It'll be a much different atmosphere, and they have a completely different lineup (Not a big shocker there, as it's been 22 years). Good luck to the D-backs. As of right now, the Rangers lead the Astros 11-4 in the bottom of the 9th, so it looks like it'll be them unless something crazy happens. To my knowledge, this is the first time that both league championship series went to Game 7. If someone could find out for me if that's ever happened before, I'd like to know.
As tomorrow is my birthday, I've never been more nervous for my D-backs. I'd love to buy some NL champ merch. If they win, I will for sure.
it’s been crazy for sure. i believe on the texas-houston broadcast tonight they said this is the 4th time both LCS have gone to game 7, but i know for sure it happened in 2020

Here we go, Game 7 later today and let me just say: What a ride this has been especially me as a Phillies fan. When we swept the Marlins and then took care of the braves easily I didn’t think the D-Backs had a chance but what I learned from this series is that you should never underestimate an opponent. First Game 7 in Phillies history and the first D-Backs Game 7 since the 2001 WS against the Yankees. And it’s for the Pennant and a ticket to the WS. AZ you have earned my respect and if u beat us im gonna be rooting loud for the y’all in the WS. Good Luck tonight AZ 👍🏻🏆

First Game 7 in Phillies history tomorrow. But based on Philadelphia sports’ history with Game 7s, I have every reason to be nervous. Just keep Joel Embiid as far away from the stadium as possible.

Having lived in SF when the Giants won the series in '10 '12, and '14 these Diamond Backs remind me a lot of those teams. Each series ain't pretty, but they get it done. Go D-Backs.

Crazy to think, Madison Bumgarner was originally our 3rd Ace at the start of the season and the DBacks lost 22 out of 26 games from July to August...yet, here we are going into Game 7 of the NLCS still hanging around with an incredibly talented Phillies team.
Everyone thought the D-Backs would still be rebuilding. They are now 1 game away from the World Series.
5 wins away... and still not done rebuilding...

At the beginning of this season almost no one expected very much from the DBacks. They have vastly exceeded the expectations of everyone....but THEMSELVES. If their season ends tomorrow, they can hold their heads high. If it doesn't, they can take on the Texas Rangers. Either way, just remember that they were 52 - 110 two seasons ago. Overachievers, all!!
Honestly we made the playoffs a year earlier than we were supposed to, this year was supposed to be an improvement from last year but thanks to the Cubs and Reds we've pushed farther than anyone thought we'd get to especially when people assumed we'd lose to the Brewers round 1

The ALCS Game 7 was more important. It wasn't a winner-take-all game if the Diamondbacks won.

I remember as a kid growing up in Phoenix how good it felt when the dbacks won the World Series. It lit up the state for years to come.

The secret to G6 for ARI is the same for G7, which I thought after G5 - keep PHI in the ballpark and make them earn their runs, ARI score early ( in 1st 3 innings) and generate traffic on the bases (even if they don’t score, at least get runners on).
If C. Walker can get right, G7 may be anticlimactic. He’s been the missing piece in this series so far.

Not quiet, just not really worthy of a response. We are unfortunately used to be without championships in Philly, but on the other hand, this team has been resilient for 3/4 of the season after a bad start. They’re a better team than the Diamondbacks, so there is a good reason to expect them to win, but the better team doesn’t always win, like last year’s Super Bowl. Not arrogance, it’s analysis of the two teams. Anyone can win the seventh game, and if they do, that’s the curse of Philly sports. I hope you you’re not quiet if the Phillies do win tonight, or if they win the World Series. 🤫

The Diamondbacks do have a star-studded lineup and most of those names belong to their pitching staff.
