I juuust bought this , it’s a lovely cabinet. I will get help with the doors, it’s been explained to me that the other person needs to sort of keep the door aligned and put a little pressure against it while the other person drills the hinge to cabinet. So anyone reading out there, get another person , unless you’re a professional , like on here . Thanks for this video, will reference.
OOOOH thank you so much! I just bought this, so this is incredibly helpful. So, looks like you assembled it in about 6 minutes 35 seconds. Gonna try and beat that time. LOL!
Love your content. How are you dealing with supply chain issues. Can’t find ikea pull out corner base cabinets on in the north east. Also can’t find ikea tall 90” cabinets.
Typical issue at the moment. Keep calling their customer service. I have installed recently installed the pantries you've mentioned, so they are available, not sure why you can't get them right now.
I did two cabinets alone, no problem, but the doors…. Got help…with some tinkering , ie I screwed the hinges to the wall of the cabinets, in their proper spot, then attached the door, and sore arms later, lol they’re done. One of my doors has sap or glue , that has dripped along the crease, on the outside. Any idea how to clean this off? Warm cloth, cold cloth?
@@maxplus2849 took hairdryer to melt or soften the glue and scraped it off in a straight line by about a one inch section down the line of the dripped glue. Was carefully not to burn the wood or my hand lol. Took a bit of olive oil to clean and buff. So either hot or cold works on the glue (or candle wax). The idea is not to spread it. Thanks!
Everything went just like your video UNTIL the door hinges didn't line up with the holes and the screws would not back out. The screws are shit. Will have to go back to IKEA and hope to get new hinges.
I screwed as far as the screw went, then undid, tinkered with the, made sure it was straight , re-screwed, and if necessary, rinsed and repeated, till I got them in properly. Two hinges are still not quite tight , but tight enough that the door holds lol. The holes u need to make a little bigger but I mean a little, that is why the method above. Still, not perfect design,
I attached the hinges to cabinet wall, then attached the door to the rest of the hinge. Saved my sanity. Needs tinkering still but a whole lot better than hinge first then door to cabinet.

He skipped the hardest part... liniing up the door hinges with the holes in the cabinet. His are suddenly already attached.

yeah, that sounds strange with the hinges.... fortunately everything worked great for me...
Totally agree, went well until it came to the doors! There is definitely a manufacturing fault there.
@@markevans3701 The pilot holes are too shallow

Hinges won't go in. Had a rage attack. took hammer and kicks to the damn thing. It is disintegrated now. Damn!
Sadly...

You're not alone. I got 3 in, but the 4th would not go no matter what. Tried and tried. I had to walk away before I lost it.
How long did this take to put together?
It took me around 1hr-1:30 putting it together for the first time.
All went very smoothly until . . . the hinges. OMG! 😫😤😡🤬
This is probably the most difficult version of the cabinet hinges, but I do them so often, that I dont really notice anymore :)
what platform do you use to find customers?
Depends...
@@maxplus2849 succinctly , informatively, clearly, thank you
