There's one point I really agree with: people far outside the target demographic complaining that not every blaster release is tailored to them. The market is overstuffed these days: you're bound to find something that suits your fancy.
I was able to mod an N-SERIES Ward, which worked out pretty well. I really like this new video series. Just the casual talk about the hobby is something I've always liked.
Honestly really love hearing your thoughts on trying to make events for children it's actually really interesting hearing how they struggle with certain blasters. I think most people that are complaining about N1 need to remember that it's literally not for them. Now that pro level blasters exist for each company, we have options to choose from anyway.
Thank you for this. I LOVE listening to stories about actually using blasters in game conditions. I LOVE hearing how blasters operate in game conditions, which are soooo different from just buying off the shelf and plinking at home.
Honestly hearing your setup for kids party's I can understand wanting to run a single ammo type. I run our family reunion matches twice a year and one of the biggest time sinks is explaining individual blasters. This is especially true if I have a wide range of ages playing in the same games. My solution was to have a separate arena space for a more free play style for kids 8 and under or players not wanting to be hit with 90+ darts. In the "Kids Zone" I only stocked full length single shot & smart AR blasters. I did drop in a Rambler and that was super popular with the kids. As for the main arena there was a mix of full & short darts, Rival & and even some Hyper. All that to say, I do understand where you are coming from. I wish there would have been more effort to keep the caliber the same and more R&D into the evolution of the foam dart. A new line of blasters would have been great to launch along side the new dart tech and that would keep pervious blasters, magazines, drums and other accessories still relevant with Nerf branded blasters. Love the RAW video, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
Great video! Totally agree with you on ease of use. I took a few totes of my blasters to a youth group a couple of weeks ago. The kids had a blast, and only 2-3 of them were even interested in the high powered, modded, and 3D printed stuff I brought. Honestly, they only cared about having fun with the cool looking ones. A bunch of them even gravitated to simple pistols because they are easy to use. Anything with long primes were diffucult for even the older ones to use in the battles. No one wanted to get pelted with 100+fps rival or half darts (well, a couple of brave souls decided it would be fun 😂). Nerf doesn't need to change their whole line to pro blasters, because they are the gateway lol. That being said, I think they do need more solid pro blasters for us older players. Bbring back the classics with high rates of fire, and 150+ fps Hasbro! Even if they don't, we can all keep modding 😁
Recently got my hands on an N-series ward, and, yeah, I'm moderately impressed. Pity about the dart compatibility but if the future N-1 dart blasters are gonna have as much pop to it as this one, then yeah, sure, I'll go with it.
One thing that makes N Series blasters absolutely AMAZING for the hobby is the mod potential. Ever since 2020 the community has been starved for blasters with loads of mod potential from Hasbro. These new blasters have bigger plunger tubes, all of the primaries have metal springs, and some great shells for integrations. The darts need improvements like being more usable in high humidity, but they have advantages like durability, and are a nice size. I think all of the main complaints of N Series from people who are nostalgia biased for the standard dart are not valid. Imo its great for Hasbro to switch things up and do something new. The only vaild complaints about N Series imo is the quality control, which Nerf needs to get together. Because the dart inconsistencies are not good
I'd love a lower power rival so they can market them for 8+ kids. Easy loading, dartsweeping with a garden weasel; rival ammo has great characteristics for younger users. The only thing n1 has different than traditional nstrike blasters is that they fire a bit harder. Btw, I replaced a couple n1 dartheads with worker gen2 heads (I had a bunch of those lying around since the gen2 decapitate easily) and that made them a lot more accurate and still fit the infinite mag. So that could be a way for the community to accept the n1 dart, make em n2!
Musings of a Nerf Party Planner series, perhaps? I think in general it boils down to the N1 dart is a mild upgrade over the Elite dart, it's not a replacement for half darts. Having the 12ish years of a standardized toy ammo is unprecedented so we should expect change, but I still can't help but not be a fan of the N1 dart having seen hasbro try to make cynical cashgrab ammo before in the Ultra dart.
i kinda wish nerf rival had longer plunger tubes for longer priming strokes, or did the geared system they did for the artemis and hades. but yeah good video about running parties with nseries blasters
I don’t think the n series should even exist in my opinion because nobody asked for this series, nerf should be focusing on making better pro half dart blasters, better rival blasters, flywheelers with rechargeable battery packs, especially for blasters like the rapidstrike, the regulator, the rayven, or at least make rapidstrike have faster full-auto by replacing the motors
These are all things that aren’t as profitable as 8+ blasters. You’re welcome to check out my original Hasbro visit, I talk a bunch about the importance of being able to sell globally and restrictions. Anyway, pro, rechargeable packs, better motors, more rival… none of that stuff can be sold globally. As for who asked for N Series? Their shareholders.
Lol, it's so funny to me when people say this. You realize how niche the "pro" part of the nerf hobby is right? I guess not because you think nerf should only focus on that. There's a reason nerf is still dominating in marketshare compared to everyone else

People who are new struggle so much more than people realize, it’s interesting for sure

Yes, I love these kind of videos, where you are just talking about anything really, and I also love the unedited videos like this.
Cool! Glad to hear all the positive feedback, I’ll do more lazy videos haha
Definitely enjoy the non edited yap sessions!
Sweet! Works for me lol
When I was at Jared's Blaster Battle, the Pinpoint jammed so often on people
Yeah, it does not like slightly used darts or to be operated even slightly inconsistently
Enjoy the random unedited "Thoughts" videos....Very Cool 👍

I would love more classic pros but sadly seems unlikely, we’ll have to keep making them! Haha

Hey, that hyper video will happen
Love the 'dl content'!
Would you mind doing an Ultra Casual on how you run your dart party business wise?
I really like that VLOG style video!!! You could even cover your games you ran and document that
Thanks! I’ll do more casual stuff to fill in between reviews etc :)

Always love your thoughts and yeah humIdity problema are real in the maritimes. I notice it in drum mags as well.
