i lived in lake havasu for 10+ years before i left for the salt lake area! people there ABSOLUTELY HATE people who surf or wakeboard. all the grumps would always say its a lake for "speed boats not for surf and wake boats". im also rocking the 2023 murray pro 150 for a big guy like me. got to use it about 40 days this season and hands down the best wakeboard ive ever ridden! keep up the sick content.
Not first, so I’m last. Shaun, love the 100 year anniversary boat, but the pillows crack me up! My 2 year old would send those with the ducks EVERY CHANCE HE GOT!! HAHAHA Keep up the solid content as always. ~ ✌️ Ryan
You teach so well in your videos with the kids. I learn a lot from the positive feedback you show. I have a real question because I have so many kids now in their early double digits wanting to wakeboard. What line length are you running when at the slower speeds? 40-50'?
Love this video for furthering skills for adults and kids. Do you Shaun and the kids still have fins attached to your boards when attempting surface 180s and switch or do you remove them? Thanks heaps from Aus
We kept em on in this video and usually do so bc my boards come with .8" fins so not too tough to release them especially at slow speeds. If you're got big fins and wanna have some fun, take em off, keep the speed pretty slow. 10mph for kids, adults 12mph, will be enough to keep you up and able to do some things straight behind the boat like you see here. Giving me ideas for another edit! Thanks!
Hey Murray! Sorry if you have already answered this before but what handle do you use on your rope? My hands get torn up and I am hopping to fix that issue, thank you!
No worries and I don't think I answered that question in this video but some in the past. Either way... www.hyperlite.com/products/wakeboard-ropes-handles-progression-series

@@Shaun.Murray thanks man, you and your content definitely keeps me at 39yrs old out there constantly progressing. Iv watched you growing up throughout all these years, I remember watching the 1996 world wakeboard championships. Stuff felt like it was yesterday. Live your best life 👊

Stoked! 🤜🏼💥🤛🏼
awesome gotta try
Love doing those surface 360s and power slides. My mom sometimes freaks out when I do it cause she thinks that I wrecked
Tell her to ride at super slow speeds and try some! Does she ever take a turn in the water?
@@Shaun.Murray yeah sometimes but not enough that she’ll try something new. It’s usually once or three times a year

Usually 45-55 depending on what we’re working on.

What boots do you have on your 30th anniversary board?
Usually riding Hyperlite team X. But I use systems most of the time I ride cable.
Why is it called the G series hull. I’ve looked but I haven’t found the answer
Are you asking where does the name G come from?
@@Shaun.Murray yes what does the G stand for
Nautique always has a code name for a boat before it launches publicly, and the G series was called Project Gray. So it comes from Gray.
@@Shaun.Murray Thanks for the help. I just picked up a G23. Love it!
@@Shaun.Murraynever knew that👊🏼
Let’s see a collab with jboneil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
