  • This 15 minute guided meditation practice is for those who deal with mental suffering regularly. Through mindfulness, we can become more aware of the suffering we create around our suffering. We suffer that we suffer. Meditation can help you parse this out and manage this.

I'm now over two years in recovery and whilst I was in rehab, we were encouraged to practice meditation. It is probably the greatest aid to my wellbeing and continuing recovery now. And these meditations are by far and away the best thing out there. Simple and uncomplicated. Thankyou Declutter the mind. 🙏❤

I was having a rough day…loneliness of my husband dying fifteen months ago…that grief as well as the grief of what we have lost with the pandemic and just how life is…thoughts adding to the suffering. I seriously wondered if I was going to have to seek medical/psych help…about ready to climb out of my skin. But this helped ground me. Loneliness and anxiety still there, but nit as much suffering, There is something about your voice and instructions that really work for me. I can’t thank you enough.

Hiii I have been following your meditations for the past 7 months. I absolutely love them it's really been helping me. I have seen so much progress in myself. What I love most in your talk is how you are able to describe the emotions in the meditation.
for example in the loneliness meditation you mentioned that we wanted to feel needed, I mean that really flipped my perspective or asking yourself is the anger really needed! That I must say has diffused the situation multiple times.
So thank you for that. In so many other aspects of my life I'm more mindful of my body language and my thoughts, I'm less anxious, angry, more grateful, appreciative, happy, developed positive thinking . You're doing a phenomenal job changing lives.
I was just wondering if you could create a 15 minutes meditation on handling grief and just maybe more variety and emphasis on the positives emotions. That would be much appreciated, I feel that's something that could add to the channel.

Hey! It's been almost a year that I am following your meditations and they have been super helpful to me. I can feel a lot of progress in the way I deal with my emotions, and how more mindful I become. I would like to give back and reward you for all this work, but I financially cannot take a subscription at the moment. Do you consider opening a Patreon account or something similar for spontaneous donation? Even a Paypal account would do the job!
Anyway thanks for everything, and keep it up!

helpful.. But I am annoyed at myself for having my mind wander. I have been doing mindfulness for awhile and should be better at it. But will keep on trying as it has many benefits.

Heyyy Beth, nah girl, showing up is you winning the battle, some days it's alright if you're mind wanders, it's really an opportunity into being aware of your thoughts. I have days where I can't concentrate so I give up the control and sit with the emotions. I'm glad you showed up for yourself no matter what

I think it's absolutely normal for minds to wander. I've done mindfulness and guided imagery too. I also have a few kinds of brain cooties that make it extra hard to keep perfect attention. It's okay, it really is.
Here's something I learned from a few other guided exercises regarding wandering thoughts: when disruptive trains of thought come up, you can acknowledge that the thought is there, not judging it, and either gently turn your mind back to what you want to focus on, or visualize the disruption moving on and out of your mind. One meditation I really like suggested sending the thought out of your body when you exhale. That helped me a lot. Good luck and please be kind to yourself!
