    SPECIAL RIP to dale Earnhardt/ as I have thus all star game still recorded on a VHS VCR tape this is beyond special & I give thanks to the person who uploaded this precious nostalgia 🙏🏿🙏🏿

    Great to see an Allstar game where they actually competed on offense and defense. Sad that we dont see it today.

    I just love listening to the introductions of the players and getting the snapshot in time. How young did Olajuwon and Jordan look?! The old school centers (Moses, Artis) looked so menacing. And Ralph Sampson as Wemby-before-Wemby

    Magic actually played this game with an injured knee, on a team that went on to win the NBA Finals that June. Today's players would never do such a thing, especially with title aspirations as real as his were at the time.

    Dr. J was guarded by a player 4 inches taller, a PF/C. Just to say... Magic and Bird usually guarded by shorter defenders.

    Larry Bird was pretty much the best player on the planet at this point Magic Johnson was on top of the world 🌎 and Jordan’s inevitable takeover was just beginning Olajuwon was beginning his greatness also

    Oh, how I miss the old Reunion Arena in Dallas. That place was so loud when it was filled to capacity. The AAC has never been able to live up to its standards, in my view.
