I live in germany and went from a city into a completely rural place with a beach and I still live there since I was nine years old. Everything was new and exciting, new school, new people and a completely different dialect of german which I had to learn to understand. when I turn 18 in three years, I'll move into a bigger city again, not because I like the dirty air and cars, just because I can't get to work where I currently live. My life will change a lot the next years and moving into a new environment can be nice but very frightening as well.

I watched the first video and saw her picking up trash off the ocean and beach and everytime I go to the beach I always clean up and pick the trash up and put them in either trash or recycling all thanks to her since that’s how she inspired me.

Altering personal habits gives us a sense of agency, allows us to positively affect our closest environment and spreads awareness, but this must be accompanied by political actions and policy changes as well in order to be effective against climate change in a macrocosm. We recently moved from the suburbs of DC to a coastal town some 2-3 hours away. It has completely changed how we live these days. Overall our mental health is thriving, we bike everywhere we go, we attend ocean clean-ups, spend more time outside, and help with the health of the ocean and her animals.
