does this model year have fog lamps ??? Why did audi not include fog lamps ?

Great question. the 2018 SQ5 does not have fog lamps in the lower fog lamp area. They use that area for the adaptive cruise control. My SQ7 has "fog lamps" that are integrated into the headlight that shine down. I'm assuming the SQ5 does the same. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

This is super awesome. Not many videos showing exactly this.
    Thank you.
I have a Q7 4M, instead of fog lights, I have ACC radars and wanted to remove the trim.
Do you happen to have or know if there is a video for Q7 out there?
I will try your method too.
    Thank you!!!

I now have 2020 SQ7, and it is very much the same for how it clips into place. You would need to pop off the outer piece first, then the inner trim. If you search for "For 2020-2022 Audi Q7 Black Front Bumper W/hole Fog Light Cover Grille Bezel" and "For Audi SQ7/Q7 S-Line 2020-23 Painted Right Front Bumper Fog Light Cover Trim-" on ebay, you should see it's a two piece system.

Thank you for the video. I have a 2018 Q5, which does not have any openings in the fog lights to put hands into. Anyone here have advice for how to remove and replace those? I have a "RSQ5" style set coming in next week, along with matching honeycomb grille. Thanks!

Did you ever figure this out? I'm trying to do this aswell!

@@behzad1987 The auto shop ended up removing the fog lights for me, but, it just appears they have tabs holding them in. So if you have a plastic removal tool and go around carefully with it, you should be able to remove them. Maybe if you go under the vehicle you can see the tab locations from behind? Once you get them out, I can say, putting the new honeycomb ones in was simple and easy. Good luck!

Thanks for the video, it's exactly what I needed to see, I plan to install a RS fog lamp trim piece, but it doesn't seem to have an opening for air intake, do you think the original trim opening acts as a air intake or it doesn't matter?

I actually have a video coming for this particular issue. The RS Style Grill covers the auxiliary radiator for oil and transmission. I ended up trying to cut out the bottom area of the grill to make the air flow a little to the cooler, but ultimately the driver side grill didn't fit correctly... even after getting a replacement.

Great video! Woke up to a missing passenger side fog light grill this morning, without a clue how or why. Anyways, would you happen to have to link where you boughy the grills? I have a '20 SQ5 with the black optic package and the matte black grills like you have are hard to find. Thanks

Oh NO! That is a total bummer. I have a few videos that I'm editing this week talking about the RS Style Fog light covers. There are three inherent flaws with the after market ones. #1 the air channel is in the wrong position and #2 some don't have the right slot for the front sensor. I believe the '20s now have the sensor in the bumper. #3 the driver side ("left") doesn't fit correctly without the distance sensor in the fog light area. I would check a parts distributor for a factory one... The RS Style just had fitment issues.

Thanks for the info! I was skeptical getting aftermarket parts, but the OEM replacement ran 4 to 5 times as much. We'll see how it goes.

Great video, TY, do you have a video for a 2021 A5 ?

Unfortunately I do not. I'll see if I can get someone close (in Wisconsin) to work with me on a video on an A5.
