I hear a lot of people talking about going fast. I for one am not trying to break the sound barrier every time I ride a motorcycle.

I had a Yamaha Raider and liked it, now I have a Honda Fury and love it. It out handles the Raider, and more nimble. The Raider had more power but I really don't miss that much power. The Fury is perfect to me.

I installed the Canella risers on my 2017 Fury. If you are reaching for the handlebars and leaning to forward or you just want a relax riding stance, I recommend the risers. FYI. Also, I've done long road trips from Detroit to Chicago (round trip). Make sure you change the stock seat and install a temporary wind shield.👍🏼My bike is very reliable. I've had no problems with my bike, I do tune-ups on the bike myself, and I get a lot of compliments on how great looking the bike is. Lastly, I ride in the city of Detroit, and it's easy as a daily commuter.

Hi. I am in the UK and recently bought a Fury (they command crazy prices over here). I absolutely love the bike but I cannot ride it for more than one hour as it crucifies my lower back. Can you tell me which seat you have put on it as I really need to address the issue.
      Regards, Bib.

I love the Fury. I own a Yamaha Stryker, which is the only comparable bike to the Fury. Both are 1300cc and kick ass !!!
You sure have a great perspective on bikes, what they should, and could be. Maybe it should be called the Flurry ? It's sweet and delicious.

Whether your bike can only go 100 or 300, the speed limit is still 65, so who cares if you have a 300hp or a 60hp bike as long as it fits you.

I have the metallic blue Fury. I came to the Fury from 45 years of anything *but* chopper-style bikes. I love it, and I have nil intention of ever exceeding 70mph here in the UK (where the maximum speed is 70mph).
I think this reviewer is approaching the Fury from the wrong perspective.

One of the more fair Fury (miffed) reviews I've seen or read. Thanks for that.
I think for the money it's a cheap way to get on a great looking bike that's solid and reliable. You can do bolt on art bike stuff, paint it, bag it, or tour it (with an aux tank). Now that the evo sporster is gone, it's really a smoking deal. The money you save can be spent on gas, tires, and oil as you actually go places and do cool stuff with it.

Amazing bike that not many people are aware of. Love that rear end. A mate of a mate of mine has one in a country town, recently did a 2000km round-trip on it, said it was very capable but not very ideal or comfortable for the long haul. They always make me stop and look. Very interesting to see this reviewed and discussed, thank you!

If they put the 1800 motor on that bike, I believe the price point would be much higher. I think Honda did a great job overall with this bike for the price they're charging.

It's not called a Fury outside of the US. It just the VT1300CXA. The tank holds enough fuel and by the time you need fuel you are ready to take a pee anyway.

I understand that the radiator necessary for a VTX1800 engine would not fit on the Fury frame with out it ruining the lines. I enjoy my 2017 Fury. I know what you mean though because I've ridden VTX1800.

Thanks for the review. Always hoping Honda will put the F.I. 1312 in an updated version of the VTX1300. I have an ‘07 1300C, stock footpegs (no floorboards) and though not the best choice for the tail of the dragon, it goes pretty quick through the twisties if you do the one cheek sneak 😂. How far over til you’re dragging pegs on the Fury? Thx

I think you are correct in that honda needs a 1300 cruzer without the awful rebel frame and stupid gas tank. They would capture a ton of sales since yamaha walked away from star cruisers. side by side or v twin, NO MATTER.. LIKE THE R12 BMW 1200 DUE TO HIT THE MARKET... 1200 TO 1500 CC LOW SEAT BIKES are the sweet spot since HOG has lost there minds on MSRP. 2 cents done

The low seat height would be easy enough to deal with stop start traffic. It has a pretty narrow profile as well. if you’re not used to a long rake on a bike, sharp turning can be challenging. But I think it would be fine actually when you got used to tight turning. That motor will definitely never leave you stranded. It’s liquid cooled, so it will not overheat in traffic. It’s a beautiful and reliable machine. So why not? Get a tail bag so you could pack some things and you’re good to go.
