I can't imagine what it would have been like if someone said that to me when I was 8. Poor kid.
This hits home so much, I hope that kid ends up being a great guy, it’s worse when you have your first child and think ‘am I gonna repeat history?’
My mom said it to me. I started trying to kill myself regularly at about 10 years old. Never worked, no matter how many bottles I swallowed or deep I cut.
my classmates told me that constantly at that age and it hurt, i can't imagine what it feels like hearing that from your parents

I've had my parents say that stuff to me and it breaks my heart to see it done to this 8 year old child. To record your child on the bathroom floor and say that is in my mind Evil.

I'm so sorry that you have had negative things said to you by the two people who are meant to protect you. You obviously have emotional intelligence and a lot of empathy based on how you must of felt. I wonder if you are an adult now if you have considered being a foster parent. Before I became terminally ill I was a primary school teacher and a solo foster Mum and I think that with your insight you could make a massive difference in children's lives. I had an amazing upbringing with two very loving parents and I wanted to give that gift to children who needed to be loved unconditionally. It's just something to think about in your future. I wish you all the love and happiness life can give you. Xx

This is a kid who needs love. Seriously my heart breaks for him. His parents need to get a grip and get it together for their son. This is their fault not his.

As someone who was raised the way that mother is raising her child, I can confirm this is exactly what will happen (I have bpd)
When a child is suffering mentally talking bad towards them doesn't help. "Nobody wants you around" is even hard for an adult to hear.

Who does this 'mom' think she is, tellling a 8 year old CHILD 'That's why nobody wants you around'. You don't tell a child that he or she is unwanted. You just don't. You may say it 1 time, but that child will say and repeat that to himself a thousand times until he is convinced that nobody likes him.
'Why are you getting tired of me?' Seriously, no child should ask their parent that. It's like he thinks his own mom doesn't love him. That's heartbreaking.

This is the first clip I've seen from this episode so I'm not sure about the backstory or the extent of this child's behavioral or mental health issues but I am sure that the way the "mother" is treating this little guy is extremely abusive. It's absolutely heartbreaking to watch the interaction between them from the home video. This kid is literally crying out for her to help him. He's begging his mother to please love him and she's acting like a monster. As a mom to 3 kids around his age (9, 7 and 6) I just want to scoop him up, hug him and tell him that he's a good kid and that he's loved unconditionally. He needs to hear that so much.
Eeeeeexactly. Even when my son is in trouble and being chastised I stop *immediately* to give him sweet hugs and tell him I love him and let it all out while I hold him. He's very sensitive so I'm always watching his eyes to see if he's holding back tears and as soon as I see them I snatch him up and tell him to let it out; no matter *WHAT* he did.

My mom told me "nobody wants you around" and "no one will miss you when you're gone" nearly everyday of my teenage years and I'm still hurting. I can't imagine being an 8 yo child, cold and frustrated sitting on the floor hearing those condescending words coming out of mom's mouth...
Understand when people say *anything* like that it speaks *NOTHING* to your character; but it speaks *VOLUMES* to theirs.

i have a 7yo and a 9yo...daughters...this made me cry ...i would NEVER damage my children like that. my own mother emotionally and verbally abused me and i suffered with severe depression as i got older...i just dont understand parents like them

Omg.... This is absolutely heartbreaking to watch. He is telling her exactly how he feels. If my son had said these things to me when he was 8 years old, I would have held him while we BOTH cried, and I would have done my best to tell him how much I love and want him, that I could never hurt him let alone hate or kill him. I'm horrified by this. Wth is wrong with this woman??? She needs some serious help. I will never, ever be able to understand how ANY ADULT could ever hurt a child, theirs or anyone else's. This makes me sick, and it really breaks my heart. I hope and pray that little boy from the first clip is in a much better and healthier environment surrounded by ppl who love, nurture, and comfort him, and who support him emotionally and take and participate in therapy with him, for him. His mother should be ashamed of herself and if I were her, I would definitely hate myself for ever even thinking these thoughts. She doesnt just think them, though. She actually speaks them to her little 8 year old boy. People like her do not deserve to have any contact with children whatsoever, and I will never be able to sympathize or empathize with such a horrible monster. My heart does go out to her son, though.

When I was that age my mom and stepdad would say the same things to me, they thought I was overwhelming cause they didnt know how to deal with an autistic child. Seeing this video makes me hurt. I know what it's like to be that boy

That little boy crushed my heart. He deserves so much better!! How heartbreaking to hear his little voice shake.. she pummeled him without using her hands, and those wounds are often so much deeper than those from physical violence. What terrible things to say to a child!!
My youngest nephew has behavioral issues but I’d never do this to him ever I love him with all my heart he can’t help a lot of it as he has special needs children don’t deserve this at all. I’ll take this boy home and be his new mommy

He was speaking very disrespectfully and was being very rude! Instead of berating and belittling him, discipline him properly for the way he spoke to you! Bust his butt! But dont tell him that no one wants him around! Those are the kinds of words that cause children to hate themselves so much that they try to commit suicide! This kid needs some love before he ends up getting into drugs and drinking or even in prison, by adulthood. The parenting is to blame (unfortunately).
