If the ring light you have gives you lighting you really enjoy and it's only the sound that is an issue, I personally would try putting the microphone on an extended arm that sits out of view above your head to avoid the ring light sound, without having to install a whole lighting unit. :) Hope that helps somehow!
Hey Shan! I work in Radio so I know a lil bit about microphones. Maybe it would help having a condenser microphone, what that means is it only picks up sound from one direction. Condenser mics are typically used in voice production so maybe it would be good for video production too? Also pop socks help softening noise (the spongey bits people put over mics)

That hourglass product isn’t a concealer. It’s a retoucher. Like... it can also go over powder. Also for the Hourglass powder, you don’t pour it in the lid, just dip your brush or sponge into the gold part. I hope this helps!
I love your makeup tutorials. I love how easily you talk to the camera and how down to earth you are. I also appreciate how wearable your looks are. Sure, there are some for clubbing or celebrations, but even those are wearable and not something you would have to use a photo shoot to explain. Love the look :) Lately I haven't really been using eyeshadow but this inspired me to start wanting to play around with eye shadow looks again! I can't believe you can just "throw together" a look like that and do it so effortlessly. I’ve been practising heaps lately but I am struggling to not tug on my eyes like I can’t do it without touching my face (if that makes sense) and I just can’t get the liner along the lash line small and thin. If it helps Shan, the Hourglass Retoucher is a throughout the day retoucher. So I don't think it's designed to be a stand alone concealer. Maybe give it a go this way and hopefully it works out better for you 💖✨
Hello :) I’d love to see you do a 5? Day challenge. Make a makeup travel bag up that resembles the qty and variety of your average ladies make up bag, then for 5 videos show us different looks etc with JUST those things! Many of us don’t have a big collection but still have to do work weekend & occasions etc all from the same make up so seeing how you change up the looks would be so helpful. (and knowing the products you keep in your little essential/ everyday woman kit would be great!) Not luxury products though as they aren’t attainable for a lot of people 😊 This make up is 👌🏼
