My sincerest condolences to all that lost a loved one. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. It was a very long process of chemo seeing her throwing up withering day by day with no knowing of what's next. She is now a cancer survivor and has recently done her first bone therapy in May of 2023 with the next around the corner. I may not have had cancer but I'm witness to it and I have the utmost respect for all of you who. I won't say everything will be fine because I know we'll never know if it will or won't. Love those who are with us now, remember those who left us and cherish those who are leaving us because all we'll have are memories. Thank you for the educational video. Blessings to all.

I lost my mom to colon cancer and Covid19 combined a couple of years ago. It was devastating to see her go in front of me. It was the most painful experience I ever went through in my life. I just wanted to die there with her. It affected the electricity in my heart. I still have shortness of breath and tachycardia from it. They are now trying to convince me to go on antidepressants. The whole experience made me feel as if a horse had just kicked me in the chest. I felt a lot of pain when I was in front of her. I still have dreams about her and I know I will see her again soon. Cancer is the most vicious and deadly disease on this planet. It sneaks up on you when you least expect it and evades sometimes medical treatment. I hate it. I don't want to see anyone suffer from it. God bless all the survivors.

my mother died in 2016 from triple negative breast cancer. we caught it early at stage 1 and she was given over a 90% chance of survival, but chemo, radiation, and a double mastectomy wasn’t enough. it spread to her lungs. Cedars-Sinai treated her, and they didn’t even realize it spread to her lungs until days before she passed. She was diagnosed at 48 years old, and passed at 49. a year after her initial stage 1 diagnosis.

It is the most horrible feeling in the world. My uncle was told he has 1 month. And it was exactly 1 month. No hope, no smile, nothing. Just pure nothingness. I can't even imagine how my cousin felt when he was with him his last moments. He said to doctors that he wanted to be at his home in his last moments. I visited them every day to give support to my cousin, and it was worse every day. Uncle was sleeping upstairs, and he didn't want anyone to come up except his own sons.
My parents are around 70 now. And I pray to God they don't go through similar fate. I wouldn't be able to withstand it, and I know I would do something horrible in town. It's just too much pressure, too much sadness, and too many bad people in town.

I must admit,i only found out in 2021 how people with Cancer actually die. I saw images of women with breast cancer in isolated, poor areas who had not been able to afford or travel for treatment on Reddit & could not believe how these women were still alive. Then someone told me its not so much that the cancer kills, its what it blocks or presses on. Its a very cruel thing for anyone to go through. One person wrote "if we didnt have cancer,we would live far too long and who wants that"?? As though cancer was a saviour. Clearly they had never experienced cancer or watched a friend or family member with it. My partners ex died of pancreatic cancer last year, she was in her early 40s,it was awful. My grandfather died of cancer when I was around 3 years old. I don't remember him much, but I know that he got very thin very quickly during his last months. He had always been pretty slim from what I've seen on photos, but got even slimmer as his cancer progressed. My granny, his wife, is dealing with cancer now. It's sad how many elderly people have this - people over 65 are over 3 times more prone to getting cancer then people around the age of 45. At least it grows slower because of the slower cell division rate.

I was diagnosed with the rare THL , stage 4 , DLBCL non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and had cachexia, lymphedema and Ascites ravaging my body three years ago. I had a tumor the size of a melon growing in my abdomen. Fist size blisters popped up everywhere on my legs. They had to attach a Nephrostomy tube to my kidney to drain the urine into a Nephrostomy bag that hanged out the side of my body. The tumor had blocked the kidneys from doing what they were supposed to do. The first year was Hell ! I don’t know how I survived. The chemotherapy was as harsh as f…k ! It liquified the melon size tumor into 9 liters of cancer death. After failing chemotherapy treatment, I was treated with immunotherapy and then eventually CAR-T . I wanted to die ! The pain was unbearable. I cry every time when I think about these three years. My doctor said it’s PTSD !
But miracles happen! Here I am …. Better and in good health! In Remission now for over a year.

Cancer is just...Awful. It ruins future plans, hope, and people. It does more harm than good. My dad's former work friend, fishing buddy, and family member figure died from liver cancer last August. He fought cancer for two years and was only 65.
I've witnessed several family members die from it throughout the years and it's hard to watch. These people go from healthy to emaciated, pale, and sickly overnight. I would say, cancer is the worst condition just behind Dementia.
I have a family member currently in the midst of a brutal cancer fight and my parents and I moved two hours away from our old home to be closer to them. His is one of the most deadliest so his timeline is unknown, it's not pancreatic cancer but it is a GI tract one and it's metastatic. But thankfully, it's treatable and he's done quite well so far, just exhausted all the time. It's just hard to watch.
I think what sucks is that cancer is a lot of times, something that wins and many of them are a sentence to your doom.

I feel so much empathy for those with cancer. I truly hope that they can feel a since of ease by those supporting them and around them. I can only imagine how lonely and scary it can get to actually be in that position. However, strength is oddly found in the most terrifying situations. That thought keeps me in high spirits even though the factuality of cancer is disturbing and simply sad. Life really is precious. We should all appreciate what we have because even though things are rough and our pain is valid, there are some people that go through this on a daily basis... living in hospitals and going through the probably mental health struggles that comes along with it. My prayers are with everyone that has had, is experiencing, or has experienced someone with cancer. You all are fighters.

My mom died of pancreatic cancer in May of 2024, we missed all the signs and by the time it was diagnosed it was too far along. Chemotherapy did nothing but made her weaker. I watched my mom slowly dwindle away right before my eyes and I was seconds away from witnessing her last breath, I was running down the hospital hallway to her room when I heard the cries of my brothers and she was already gone by the time I stepped into the room. I’m so sorry mom I couldn’t be there, I just wanted to tell you how much I loved you and to thank you for being the best mom ever, I missed you by just seconds mom I’m so so sorry

my wife had metestatic melanoma. it spread to many places, but the chemo drips were keeping it at bay, even shrinking several spots. unfortunately, it eventually made it up to her brain. she did multiple laser treatments at various hospitals, but in the end, it wasnt enough. 2.5 years from stage 1 diagnosis to death. its been 5 years now. the only silver lining to me is that this happened as the kids were a little older. now raising teens, it would have been disastrous for me to try and raise infants or toddlers by myself.

I thought the pnumonia and weight loss was from the congestive heart failure but it was from the lung cancer. I lost my dad on May 30, 2023. That day I lost a part of myself. Even if the doctors say that there is nothing we can do, know that this is not true coming from someone who’s seen people who’ve been told by doctors that “they can’t do anything”. This is number one bullshit. There are so many cures to cancer but you need to RESEARCH. For example, doing prolonged fasting multiple times can cure cancer along with other treatment. Even in conventional medicine, doctors say there are only 4 types of chemo but THATS A LIE because I know people who’ve gone to other countries in Europe and done better chemos. This is just one example. I can say the same for surgery and everything. I promise you if you were to do everything in your hands to be cured then you would be cured. Prayer is key as well. May God bless you

To die either by your brain deteriorate until you basically become a shell of your old self before dying as in the case of dementia/Alzheimer or from your own body cells pretty much attacking itself as in the case of cancer. My mother had stage 4 breast cancer. I had to watch her suffer via videos because I was pregnant and she was going through radiation and chemo. Anytime I seen the slightest change I would call and alert the nurses who didn't think I was right until it was too late. She would talk senseless to me and she was highly intelligent. I told them something wasn't right and sure enough her blood was infected which was sepsis and it pushed her demise. When I was finally able to be in the same room with her she died the next morning. I will never forget how helpless I felt and how helpless she felt. Her concerns where the children who had cancer that where on the same hospital floor as her. I've never seen someone so concerned about others while they were dying. But my mom was that person. I know your pain all to well. I'm sending you a virtual hug and love out of respect of what you've suffered as well. Heck my mom passed away in 2019 and I'm still tearing up as a write this.
