  • Wanted to take this out as part of the CCW guns. Because of its size/weight I wasn't quite sure how well it would shoot. I have to say I was very impressed. Shoots better than I do. I had no issues getting hits on steel at 30 yards.
    .
I like that its under 10oz. Perfect pocket gun, and thanks to the cocking DAO trigger it gives peace of mind.

Bought my Kahr P380 (stainless) when they first came out, October 2009. This is one of the highest quality micro pistols on the market, still to this day. This thing has a butter smooth DAO trigger. Never misfires. Shoots any 380 ammo without a hiccup. I remember, it was quite pricey, but in hindsight, worth every penny...

That makes me very happy to hear. They are definitely on the expensive side, but as you have experienced first hand they’re worth it. I had fun shooting it that’s for sure! Thanks for watching I appreciate you!

I love my KAHR 380. Mine shoots great and has very functionally sights. Honestly best concealed weapon.
Certainly there are bigger weapons with more capacity and more powerful cartridges. There are also small pistol with smaller cartridges.
But there is nothing I know of that is so small and capable.
I would also add that the trigger is really great. And because of the short recoil-locked breach action the recoil is very reasonable for such a tiny pistol.
And if all of that was not enough it handles hot 380’s like a champ.

Nice! I agree there's bigger/smaller, but man is the tiny Kahr 380 epic!! I enjoyed shooting it, and thank you for watching! I appreciate you!

Over the years I’ve really come to appreciate the super compact .380s that are out now, I carry a 19 and a 43x MOS currently but like the idea of something this size but with more manageable recoil.

Yeah some of the new 380s are so small, but still plenty capable. Appreciate you watching, and the comment.

Recently purchased a CA edition kahr p380 as a EDC ccw. Its eaten everything from hornady XTP, herters flat nose, blazer and fiochi round nose. Close to around 600+ rounds and counting.

Glad to hear. I love the P380. Perfect edc especially if you want something light weight that can be carried even in gym shorts

I just purchased the Kahr CW 380 I have not put the 200 rounds suggested by Kahr as of yet, but I got it took it apart lube it and left it slide open 10 days so far I have fired 50 rounds ball ammo and 25 hornady red tip without a hiccup. This gun does not like hollow points. So far I like it. I had the LCP and the LCP 2 and the recoil is greater than the Kahr.

Nice! I have the CW9. The 380 is on my list after shooting it. Hopefully in California the 1 in 30 day purchase restriction goes away. A federal judge ruled it unconstitutional, but left it open for a stay to be placed on it.

For anyone on the fence about buying a P380 I just bought one on the 10th of this month. I took it to the range today. I shot fiocchi 95 grain Fmj and hornady critical defense both ran flawless not one fte ftf or ftb the extractor did look to be filed down and feeding ramp polished. I cycled the ammo in the gun manually at home and it didn’t jam so I had a good feeling it wouldn’t jam. Also when I tried to rack the slide to load it, it would jam up but if I used the slide stop after inserting magazine it worked perfect everytime. There was some surface rust inside the gun when I took it apart but it all wiped away. I bought it in California from turners. I’m very happy with my purchase. If it will shoot fiocchi it will shot anything. I noticed a lot of people that were complaining about them in comments were from years ago. I’m pretty sure if you buy a p380 in 2024 it will be de bugged

I was impressed with it. Cycled flawlessly, and I was able to get hits on steel farther than I expected. I can say it shoots better than I do 😂

My P380 (california model like yours), has 2 ea 6 round mags and a 7. The seven has a polymer bottom, not exposed like you show. Anyway, I cheated and got magguts, which adds a round to each........ I was real hard for me to master it without unintentionally hitting the slide lock because of my hand grip. However this little gun is accurate, even with me shooting..

Yeah they’re definitely accurate. I like how light they are. Great little EDC. I enjoyed shooting it, and I appreciate you watching!

I just bought one and I’ve hear a lot of people say they jam did you break this one in? Is this a new gun. Did Kahr possibly fix the problems with the feeding issues?

    • @dirtybirdusa
      @dirtybirdusa  9 месяцев назад

Great questions. This was a new gun. I didn't break it in, and didn't experience any jamming malfunctions. Thanks for watching.

I had great results with Hornady critical defense, and ammo inc target ammo. However it didn’t seem picky, and ate everything else I shot through it as well! Thanks for watching

Literally the worst weapon I have ever owned. Such a shame, design and size are better than any other. DO NOT BUY. However the PM9 is fantastic, but a bit larger.

Clean and lube as soon as you get it home.Follow the manufacturer’s break in procedure and don’t limp wrist it, and it never jams.
