Great conversation on skincare. My worry is that we are not honest about safe and healthy products, especially amongst the people of colour..I have been following Dr V Rattan across social media platforms- she talks about good products for people of colour. She reviews products (not sponsored). I always cross check what she says about certain ingredients and in all cases it would be true. I wonder how do dermatologists recommend certain products that some dismiss. E.g products with alcohol denat, fragrances and other ingredients that can cause skin problems in future. I think she is one of the most honest dermatologists. I wonder if the schools of dermatology differ especially on basic issues such as use of perfumes in products claimed to solve acne problems .
I love Dr Vanitta Rattan. Your so right She's the best to watch In terms of videos about skincare products for women of color. NAFE safe products always. That's what we need for women of color. Best to take everything with a pinch of salt when Infuencers are working with brands. It's usually paid content. Good for them but we need to scrutinize ingredients
