- its fairly easy to design and purchase a quality sound system for under $1k. it can be done Amazon as well. If you exclude installation and custom subwoofer enclosure it is entirely possible.

It's good to hear somebody give the Infinity Kappa props. I don't sleep on them for a budget build with selectable impedance and sound quality they're awesome.

I built a whole system off of crutchfield using their open box and scratch and dent stuff. Saved a ton of money.
Kicker l7t, kicker 800.1, 4 kenwood 6 1/2s, kenwood deck, and crutchfield wires and harness. Spent a little over $1000

That’s a quality amp he’s showing. I run the 4 channel Rockford Fosgate 500 W prime and 500W prime mono for the sub and this system is amazing.

Just spent 1,100 on mine , single x 18 on a wolfram 3000.1 with d4s-60 mids and d25 tweeters , skar 400.4 on mids and highs , d7500 with a d3400 for battery’s , sky high 1/0 wire dual inputs , dox is 6.5 cubes tuned to 31hz
Most of rockford amps have input sensitivity and hi input so you dont need the audio control...save a few bucks.was a good list my man.
Yeah but that step down from audio control will eliminate any pretuning that has been set into the factory head unit and will allow more bass

The difference in a sedan and truck are understandably different. What about a full size k1500 Blazer? 1992 project. I'm thinking under seat or slim box (full width behind the seat) thinking 4-6 8". Actually have 6 ID8 V.4.

Good list. I’d get the kicker key 200.4 and not need the loc. Then you could get a kicker, Rockford, alpine or pioneer that does 500 at 2 ohms and be around $400 with the rest for wire and speakers.
So many ways..to each their own. There is no one way because every one wants something different

I always go with Soundqubed for the subs. How can you hook up a 5 channel amp to the LC2I??
A good audio system is in how you wire everything up and subwoofer box dimensions.

If you can't build a system under a grand you dont need a system cause you can get some great sound under that 1000 mark I have done it with several vehicles cause most people dont have that real audio system money, they just wanna beat and have clear and be able to hear some words

I got a dual 8 inch bandpass box I got from craigslist for $20. A kenwood kdc-x304 off facebook for 80. 2 skar sdr-8 d4 for 131 after tax on ebay. currently underpowered using a buddys extra amp a kicker cxa600.1. Looking to find something around 800 watts rms at 2 ohms for the subs.

You lost me right off the bat when you said the 750×5 amplifier. Although I know you're right it could sound good. Not if you're looking to slam some serious bass though. You could buy the audio control, a skar audio rp2000.1d or something similar. Then a single 12 or 15 inch sub. American bass, massive audio, skar audio ect. Decent ported enclosure. Then buy a cheap dual 4 channel for some audiopipe midrange speakers. Or something similar. Wire in a couple tweeters... good to go. That would be right around or under 1k. Also some of these items are give or take. Maybe your factory speakers are decent. This is good info in your video but you should make 1 for people looking to do 150's.
My channel isn’t for people chasing numbers. It for street beaters. And IMO you not getting 150’s with a $1k total system. Most people don’t have that kind of money to throw in a car audio system, but they want a good one. My amp alone cost $799, but that me and my ability financially. And I switch out subs just cause I can. My channel is for the masses, not the niche.
I never understood buying budget new equipment.. I can build a top notch system off marketplace for under 1k.

The JL Audio 12w0v3 Subs are phenomenal Subs for SQ No Doubt I would really like for you to try them
