Sadly I failed while editing and forgot the audio file for the lemat! (and did the new army twice) The lemat pistol is great for fanning, has a good bullet velocity and a solid shotgun! (conversion fanning is better) I can highly recommend it! Also you can put dragon breath on it for utility (burning hunters)
I think everyone underrates the chain pistol. They all just focus on the fanning. The real power of the chain pistol imo is having 17 shots and never having to reload during a firefight. Pairs really well with other reload heavy weapons like the Romero, Crossbow, Rival etc.
I feel like putting the Schofield precision in E was an injustice because I love that gun and have done so much work with it, the rate of fire is as fast as the Schofield spitfire with less recoil…. I get that compared to the other medium slot options it is outshined heavily but at least D tier cmon 😅 Edit: with the nerf to uppercut and its variants I’d even use it over both of them.
4:38 Bornheim doesn't use stripper clips, unlike the mosin and dolch. Stripper clips, like the name says, are just strips of metal to hold the rounds in place in order to put them in faster, mosin and dolch can work just fine without stripper clips. Borheim uses an En Bloc magazine like berthier, and would not work without it, but it's a bit fudged in hunt since it should work exactly like berthier does. You can just call it a magazine tbh
Absolutely agree with putting Bornheim match in the S tier. I play on console (where sharpshooters are very rare) and always go with incendiary ammo on this one and I can't remember how many times people got two-tapped in a split second and panicked because they are on fire and then died to the third follow-up shot (if they are not within the range to die to the second shot already).
Did they ever normalize Draw times for handguns, or is it still semi-arbitary, like how the officer draws faster than the new army?? Like I get the Uppercut drawing slower than the basic Conversion, but the unlisted drawtimes being different without clear reason is evil 💀💀
I agree with pretty much everything except Scottfield precision, i use it with dumdum with my shotguns and have like a 80% winrate with the loadout. Feels very strong to me, and i almost never used the spitfire before the update so its like like im just used to the weapon. But outside of my shotgun loadouts, almost always use pax trueshot, and the occasional hand crossbow.
Like I said every gun works if you make it work but for example you could use a centennial shorty dumdum or drilling with dumdum and probably get equal or better results
Bornheim marksman with incendiary ammo is my choice of secondary it gives a better iron sight and more stable incendiary help the damage a bit it works just fine I use it with the bow
Thank you for your work. I do have to say though, that some of your evaluations of the weapons are pretty surface level and therefore don't fit the tiers you put them in. For example, the LeMat/Haymaker shotguns are way to good atm, which combined with their unique tool like capabilities (dragonbreath for burning hunters), should warrant them both a slot higher in the tier list, in my opinion. The Rival handcannon is also one of the best medium slot shotguns, exactly because of what you named as it's supposed drawback. If you don't one tap with the rival, you can *immediately* doubletap, which almost guarantees a kill, even with flechette. The bow also does not get enough credit from you, as it is not only a good tool and great anti ai weapon, but also a very strong close to medium range weapon, if you practice a bit with it. There is a reason many people play it at the moment. Since you've put the Scottfield swift at a high tier with the caveat of it needing fanning (an 8 point trait), the needed two point trait for the bow should not give it a lower rating, as far as your own reasoning is concerned. On the other hand, as much as I love my romero hatchet, it is definitively not an s tier weapon. You claim if you miss a shot with it, the fight is already over anyway (which is not necessarily true), but that only accounts for 1 on 1 fights. In 2 or 3 on 1 situations, about every other medium shotgun is better then the romero. That is, unless you manage to kill the other enemies with the hatchet, but that requires skill and a bit of luck, since the meelee range is very short with the romero hatchet. Still an overall good video and helpful for new players.
Honestly everything is on point but i do think you underate the scottfield precision since it got some serious buffs to its rate of fire. Just belongs in C above the nagant though
Fantastic video Good and concise information. I always enjoy hearing peoples opinions. Is it safe to assume that for dualies the placement of the 1-slot pistols translates pretty 1 to 1?
The pistols Dolch and Bornheim gain a not insignificant advantage with their much faster reload time when dual wielding thanks to their stripper clips. The chain pistol also fairs a bit better dual wielded, because in that case you are more or less spamming anyway and the much greater ammo pool helps significantly not to run out of bullets to fast. You also have to consider, that you can't use fanning while dual wielding, so in that case, double action revolvers like the officer and new army, as well as the pistols, stand out with a higher fire rate compared to the single action revolvers.
Hey, ur vids are so good :) What do you think about Centenial silencer with bleed ammo and Bornheim match as sekondary? i can do alot of kills with the centenial in solo vs trio but my loadout lacks a short range answer if I get ambushed.
@@Whityyy the bullet drop is more what I was thinking about, not going to be as much of a factor in the bayou as it is in the mountains making long ammo more viable, and shotguns are going to be disgusting in those close quarters compounds
personally I'd put them in the "fun-tier" great for bosses but when it comes to pvp it's more relying on your enemies doing goofy stuff/mistakes. I play the katana occasionaly to have fun but I don't run it when I am planning on winning
The katana is hands down the best meelee weapon, thanks to its unique trait, which gives it an edge compared to the rest. The berserker event trait also makes meelee weapons pretty viable against bosses. The one big caviat being, that nothing beats the spear at the moment. It does as much damage as any meelee weapon, if not more, but can also be thrown and only takes a tool slot, instead of a weapon slot. So until crytek nerfs the spear, there is not realy a reason to use a meelee weapon, unless you need your tool slots for something else and still want a potent hitter.
I like the bow, but it always trolls me in cqc. I hit in the arm consistently and consistently get demolished by shotguns. I would love limb penetration on bows, xbows and hand xbows
New Army is better than the Officer. Officer is worse in every stat except muzzle velocity, which for a dolch substitute pistol is the least important stat as shots will almost certainly be within ranges where the muzzle velocity is irrelevant (and if not then why are you picking a fight with a long rifle with a compact pistol at long range?). It has better upsides in Rate of Fire and damage which are both what you want for a dolch substitute. The damage difference is small, only 6 points, but that is enough to make an arm+torso a kill rather than requiring a 3rd shot like the officer would. 2 more things, 1 the Bornheim match sucks and 2 it is nonsensical that the Springfield striker is WORSE than the compact according to you. To why the match sucks, damage dropoff. Unless you hit the head you will need 3-4 shots at any range beyond 30 meters, which puts it in an awful niche where it wants to have range but no so much as to make you spend a whole mag downing 1 guy. Even then I have never WANTED to bring a match especially over a handcannon, dolchP, or Obrez. That is only when compared to other 2 slot weapons, when compared to 1 or 3 slot weapons it is even worse as it loses to New Army, Officer, Dolch, or Fanning. At range it loses the medium range fight to Winfields or the Officer Carbine. The matches niche is supposed to be a 2 slot officer carbine yet loses to a regular officer pistol at range and close, and can not hold a candle to a rifle at meaningful range (unlike your other S tiers that are not shotguns). Finally, the Striker Springfield is just a Springfield Compact with a discount knife attached to it. The melee is not supposed to be a PvP weapon but a PvE tool for dealing with AI on a budget as a knife costs 30 compared to the extra 10 of the striker over a compact. The reason that matters is because if you are willing buying a Springfield compact then that saved 20 bucks means a lot. At worse they are the same gun as for rich hunters the 10 bucks is a right off and doesn’t negatively affect the weapon’s performance. Doesn’t mean the Striker is better than the Compact; only that it is neither is definitively worse.
I don't think the bow is that effective once u move into the higher elo brackets and people know how to play around it since it has a lot of movement limitations
The brawler has a significantly slower fire rate when compared to the spitfire. I think it shares the same fire rate as the base Scottfield which is why for most people it is outclassed by the spitfire with its better general fighting capabilities
Sadly I failed while editing and forgot the audio file for the lemat! (and did the new army twice)

I feel like you should mention that slugs are powerful. I don't think my strength is slugs, but the one shots are not that hard up close.
I feel like Crytek overnerfed the Uppercut a bit. It's great that it FINALLY isn't in 100% of the matches, but still.
ye I agree I think they could have either taken the damage or the range but both while not compensating for it was kinda rough
I think everyone underrates the chain pistol. They all just focus on the fanning. The real power of the chain pistol imo is having 17 shots and never having to reload during a firefight. Pairs really well with other reload heavy weapons like the Romero, Crossbow, Rival etc.
Agreed
Especially with FMJ feels unfair sound tracing and wall banging full squads😂
LeMat got skipped over in the audio, though I think it's placement is obvious
must have missed that
Unfortunate that an S++ tier gets missed
