- Extensive research on fasting in the recent times has established it's proven health benefits. However, the pattern of eating in our society as evolved in last few decades has made us to believe that fasting is unhealthy. In this video I talk through some basic nuances of fasting including intermittent fasting which is a key factor to reverse insulin resistance.
Fantastic presentation. I am a OMAD (one meal a day) person. I am also diabetic. My medication is reduced to 25%. I follow my blood sugar 3-4 times daily. Intermittent Fasting is very good and it will reduce your aging. 10-12 years in the long run.

Watching ur vdos many times to absorb the full info. Could not restrain myself to thank you again for a positive drastic change in our..me & my husband s lives. Watched the vdos suggested by you & read a lot about intermittant fasting. I lost about 12 kgs in more than 2 months, Hb A1C from 10.5 to 6.7.Initially i was to write only when i reach my target,i mean 20 kgs wt & more improved diabetes. Any way, you are the torch bearer for us. you r the initial motivator wth your honest true talks. Now i read a lot. Thanks. 73 yrs old obese chronic diabetic female. What about black tea without sugar? I have been doing intermittent fasting for 14 hours for two weeks but am having a cup of black tea in the morning during my fasting state, should I stop it?

Yes - You can sir but the nutrition form diet and Supplements - both need to get absorbed properly !
Being a diabetic... how can I fast??? What happens to my dosage if I am fasting?? Could you advise how to fast when on medication please??
We aren't eating because we have to take medicines. So the basic funda has to be clear. Since we eat the whole day - drugs are given safely at an interval of 8-12 hours. All diabetics fast. You need to eat twice a day with 8h gap, reduce your dosage and the gap. Those doing OMaD are taking medicines once. Fast for 14:10 or 16:8....

My sugar starts rising in the morning as soon as I wake up. And sometimes touches 200. So I am told to take some protein in the morning and as soon as I eat and take my Metformin, it comes down. My question is should I just ignore this sugar number going up and still do my intermittent Fasting?
Protein is not the issue. Metformin gets your sugar levels down. We must find the cause of high early morning fasting sugars. It could be high chronic stress, lack of sleep, poor Vit D levels, review of medicine dosages etc. I have a video on high morning sugars (dawn phenomenon) - video 19. Have a look at that. I am 62 years old and diabetic for 15 years. I am very motivated to follow your reversal principles and get back to normal. However, I struggle with my eating. Can you suggest a meal or eating plan for next 3 months to start this program. I am a pure vegetarian and rice eater. What can substitute rice with?

Ji ha - Rizwana - sab khate hai ! Meri reversal diet aur fasting aur exercise aur sona aur yoga karna wo sab 2018 Jan se 2018 Jun tak tha. Maine apni diabetes aur BP ki dawai 22 Apr 2018 ko chori thi. Jul 2018 ke baad sirf Sat Sun ko thora chawal aur dal khata tha. Fruits mein Amrud leta tha. 2018 Durga Puja mein jalebi aur mithai khai - Diwali - New year etc mein bhi mithai khai. 2019 Jan mein sab tests normal aae ... Tab se kafi had tak "normal" khata hu.
Ab "normal" kya hai - ye bara sawal hai??? Roj gulab jamun khana normal nahi hai. 2019 se mein har tyohar, shaadi, party ityadi mein maide ka snacks ya mithai leta hu. Par roz nahi. Maine aaj bhi dal liya dopahar ko. Roti aur chawal kum leta hu. Aam aur santre kum leta hu. Baki fal jyada. Abhi exercise bhi kum karta hu.
But during my reversal phase from Jan to Jun 2018 - maine wo sab khana bund kiya tha jo maine apne video number 22 mein bola hai.
Aur ha mere tests - sirf fasting glucose hi nahi - fasting blood insulin, LFT, KFT, Vit D (pehle 2019 mein kum tha), lipid profile etc sab normal range mein hai. Isliye abhi logo ki madad karne ki koshish karta hu. 🙏🏻🤗
