I’ve loved Jim Stafford for virtually my whole life and yet I never found the chance to see him live. I have no doubt he put on a great show. Very appealing personality, a kind demeanor and endless charm. AND he was a very special man with a seemingly endless number of songs to his credit. Thank you, Jim, for all that you’ve given. I love you!
I saw Jim Stafford perform 3 times in the 1990s at his theater on Rte 76 in Branson, Missouri. From what I remember, he was next door to the Boxcar Willie Theater, and across the street from Roy Clark's Theater. Branson was a hopping place in the 1990s.
I remember when the majority of tv shows were wholesome by nature. Not that I'm complaining about those today. Hell, if everything remained 'that wholesome' up to today, I wouldn't have been able to watch a lot of my favorite shows now, like The Walking Dead series', et al. I guess it's a matter of perspective. But, I did love shows like this back then, too.
there is one state where it grows wild along the dirt road. must have a root system like strawberries or raspberries cause you cut em back...... there they are the next summer just growing happy as you please
had no idea this person existed but stafford (ik its a place in america but) the original is in the uk.. a nice-ish town tbh and wildwood is a little community just on the outskirts
"teenage mutant ninja puppies" ?? this was long before the ninja turtles appeared :D guess i know where the comic artists got their inspiration for the name now..
When I was twelve years old, a neighbor girl's family had two chihuahuas. When I came to the door, they would rush at me, screaming their stupid heads off (you can't really call it barking), claiming that a murderous fiend was trying to invade the home and they were going to shred it (me) limb from limb. Nobody in the family could do a thing with them. I've disliked chihuahuas ever since.

If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, will a Chihuahua 10 miles away still yap (I refuse to call it barking)?

no, actually this was in early 90's. he references Garth Brooks " low places"
Wasn't the wild wood weed really a cow mushroom also known as acid
Mushrooms have spores, not seeds.
