For sure. They definitely saw themselves as a lot less confrontational than they truly were. But that's part of why I enjoy them.
So here's what happened after:
Mickey moved on, Spiegel & Scott continue to do the show with some other guy and Amelia was moved to the afternoon drive as they prophetically said.
Excellent! Good lookin' out man, this is one of the best conflicts they had. Seeing the divide and conquer successfully unfold in real time is incredibly funny.
They split 4 years after this ratings attempt by oral and anal

The funny thing is that is Mickeys real voice. The hole was moved to mid day’s. Lol. Mickey left radio years later after going through mental health problems. Spiegel is still there and the producer Scott became a host

It was the best ever radio show from 2002 until it ended. It was probably the funniest around 2004-2009 in my opinion however 2010-2014 was still better than any other radio show too.

I love how Opie brags about not knowing who the show is and how he's never heard of them, seeing as how the only reason he ever made it famous was because of Anthony and Jimmy. If Anthony and Jimmy wouldn't have been there, no one would ever even know opie's name

They did get better tbh. The hole does the late morning/afternoon slot and only offers concert tickets. Mickey left a while ago, and during one summer he was given a night slot because he was desperate for work. Speigel & Scott do a morning show with a guy named Justin and talk in their normal voices, well mostly.
