All of us is entitled in our respective opinions, but I do believe and stand that Nick dub is the best (in terms of the voices especially Stella). But I do admit that most of the voice guidance in some scenes did not do anything for me as well.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Keke Palmer is my *favorite* Aisha. Her voice is so iconic in the show, and that’s me coming from starting with Cinelume. LOL Larissa is also my favorite Icy.
The Nick dub was perfect in my opinion, and was the best dub. All the voices fit literally every character perfectly. That "Forever Girlfriend" line will forever be silly though I don't why he couldn't just say "Will you marry me?" ☺💜
I’ve seen all three and I don’t remember which were which cause when I’d rewatch winx club I’d somehow accidentally watch a different dub each time. I remember being so confused when I’d play the episode and go “wait she didn’t say that...” They seem to mesh in my memory.
Tbh, I liked the nick 100% better. I grew up with it so it’s only natural that I feel this way. I really liked the show until the sirenix era ended. I didn’t realize how bad winx club became until I watched the bloomix transformation. TECNA didn’t even have her iconic purple outfit, instead it was green and blue. I LOVED charmix, it really complimented the animation and all that. Probably my favorite transformation.
The problem with Bloomix isn’t about Tecna doesn’t have her signature color the design of Bloomix is by far the best in all transformations) It is because bad writing, back flips, cheese cave, save your sister for the 10th time and Bloom being a Mary Sue (Like BLOOM-ix)
I didn't even know who Grey Delisle was until you played the clip and all I heard was Frankie from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I had no idea that it was her on Winx.
The Nickelodeon dub for the most part actually sounds good but the scripting and dialogue can be a bit cringy, though the girls’ voice actors especially Musa’s and Aisha’s are REALLY good. I wish Keke Palmer still stuck around for voicing Aisha and Romi Dames for Musa.

I don't know if it was brought up, but I think it's a pretty cool fun fact: in the Polish version, season 4 remained unaltered. They somehow kept the old dub for the Nickelodeon version, and I love it, because I didn't have to experience the "forever girlfriend" thing. Which means that Layla's name was never changed and she's still called Layla here. Also, some of the original voice cast stayed the same. Specifically for Stella (until her voice actress's death after season 5), Flora, Sky and Brandon - these four were voiced by the same people since the first airing in Poland (aside from the films). Some other actors were just recast as different characters (Nickelodeon Icy's voice used to be Darcy's, Layla's used to be Bloom's). It's kind of nostalgic for me, honestly
I remember watching the Winx Club back in 2006 and I still loved the series. I understand why people thinks the series is weird because of the first and second season characters design drawings are a bit off that's why years later nickelodeon reboot the winx club series 1 and 2 as a 1 hour special with proper developement designs on the characters, new voices and the stories to make it a lot better. Since then the winx club series have develope more new season stories, more new fairy forms theme like the underwater, legendary adventure, animals and outer space. So as long nickelodeon continue then it's fine by me. 🦋👍💖
I really liked this video! It was really informative and entertaining! There was one little mistake, though: at 13:02 Selina says "Eldora era noiosa", which in Italian means "Eldora was boring", not as the subtitles said "Eldora is an idiot". It's just a tiny little thing but completely changes the meaning of the scene, giving Selina kind of a passive-aggressive vibe, instead of an aggressive one, especially with the tone used. (From an Italian viewer who watches tons of videos about the English dubbing of Winx Club, a series she grew up watching in its original version, for no apparent reason)
While Mat Shivley and Elizabith Gillies were nice surprises, I think whoever was in charge of casting/voice direction just didn’t know the series or didn’t care. My biggest drawback is actually Molly C. Quinn as Bloom. She struggles capturing Bloom’s wide-eyed naïve nature.
In the UK, Winx had already aired on Nick from around 2004-2006 with the 4Kids dub and splat logo then it came back to Nick in 2011 with the Nick dub and new Nick logo.
Never been a fan of Nickelodeon era s6 was somewhat OK others was basically trash but absolutely loving s8. First 4 seasons and s8 is now my favorite;)

This was the dub that introduced me to the franchise. I was almost 7 years old when 4Kids did their dub of the series but I did not have the 4Kids channel because I had Time Warner Cable (now called Spectrum) when I was younger. Even if I did have the 4Kids channel, I probably wouldn't have been interested in watching it because I was DEEP in Kim Possible. With that aside, I'm kind of surprised that you didn't bring up any other voice actors from this dub such as Liliana Mumy, Jessica DiCicco, and Sam Riegel. What did you think of them during the dub? Also, that 'forever girlfriend' scene doesn't really make much sense to me now because I did find the Cinelume dub of season 4 and it was pretty clear that Nabu was proposing to Aisha.
My favorite part about the Nick dub is that they combined the base form with charmix. I like charmix in concept, but I will forever despise those stupid handbags. If it was just the broches, I would've been fine with it, but I don't think those handbags were used for anything other than toy sales. Edit: I watched the Rai dub of season 4, and there were two line changes that I noticed, one I liked and one I didn't. When Vanessa and Mike were talking about having six girls in the house, the Nick dub had him make an unfunny and frankly mean joke about "being ready for a vacation on shutter island", but the Rai dub had him respond as a mature and reasonable adult. When Roxy was running away from the wizards of the black circle, she asked a lady for a ride to the Fruity Music Bar. In the Rai dub, she didn't know this woman, but in the Nick dub, this was someone she at least familiar with. I liked this change because of the age of the people who would be watching the show.
Heh, I grew up on Nickelodeon Dub. These all sounded normal to me until you pointed it out and then I watched the Cinelume version, which still sound weird to me. I didn't know why "Forever Girlfriend" was bad until I saw that in the Cinelume version, Nabu actually proposed to her and I still prefer Nick to Cinelume but "Forever Girlfriend" shall forever be different now.
At 13:02, the subtitles regarding Selina are wrong. The subtitles says “Eldora is an idiot”, but the correct translation from italian is “Eldora was boring” (sorry if I sounded as a know-it-all, it wasn’t my intention)
Nick only did the dub, the seasons were created by Italia Rainbow. Y'all know what dub means right? It means VOICE OVER. Blame Italia Rainbow for the show being shit now. Seriously, it's like I'm the only person in the fandom who knows how dubbing companies work. Lol

I was introduced to Winx by a nickolodian movie and the nick dub of s5. I like it the best cause the voices have such energy. Not every line is perfect but it feels cartoony and alive.
I grew up with the ’rai’ Dub, the 4kids dub and the Nickelodeon dub. I personally liked the voices of the nick cast compared to most of the dubs, although I hated the storyline which nick co produced, the acting was ok, there were some voice actors which I questioned why they were chosen but overall I liked the nick dub. Even though musa wasn't tomboyish anymore, I still saw Romi as musa, i liked molly although she sounds really bossy in the dub, Kiki sounded perfect and I liked Alejandra. Morgan and Amy were the only ones I felt iffy about but hey, that’s just my opinion. I didn’t like however that nick tried getting as much actors which were either nick stars or well known to voice the Winx. Lots of people are gonna at me but the Duart dub is my least favourite, all the characters sounded boring and sounded the same.
I don't think you mentioned the VAs in the 4Kids dub, but my personal favorite Stormy was her second VA in that one. The one she had starting in like the second half of season 2? Her voice is so soft and raspy and I just loved it for her.
11:00 I don’t know if that was actually how the audio sounded in the Nick dub, it could’ve just been from whoever uploaded it cause the whole episode seems to have that problem
I do love the Winx Club series but I do questions some of the series episodes. I mean everything about this entire series of Winx Club which never made sense or explained in each Seasons. And the ones to blame are the writers because they never make sense in each season or episodes like they abandon the story of Icy's Kingdom and her sister Sapphire who is still the white fox sadly at the end of Season 8 which I felt is wrong. It's not just the story line in each episodes but Winx Club series characters that are unknown reason disappeared or never been explain what happen to them: 1. Season 2 Professor Avalon/ Fake Professor Avalon- After Bloom is kidnapped and Darkar turn her to Dark Bloom at the end of episode 24 the Fake Professor Avalon was never seen in the last two episodes for unknown reason. As for the real Professor Avalon he did appear in season 3 but never spoken or seen with any of the Winx Club girls. 2. Season 5 and 6 Princess Krystal- While she appeared in some episodes back in season 5 but only appeared once in season 6 but never been seen again after that. I mean if Princess Krystal a new student at Alfea along with Roxy then at least try to get she seen more especially that we never got to see her fairy form tranformation. 3. Season 5 and 6 Roy- I really don't understand why the writer choose to have Aisha and Nex as a couples instead of Roy. I mean back in season 5 Aisha and Roy are started to bond on episode 24 and in episode 25 Aisha dream of dancing with Roy so in my opinion they're a perfect match. But in season 6 Roy has been ignored by Aisha and payed to much attention to Nex the entire series, the strangest thing is that Roy disappeared at the end of episode 24 and never been seen again which doesn't make sense at all. If Roy was planning to leave like Riven shouldn't the writer have at least give him his fell well to Aisha and Nex as he now know that Aisha and Nex as a couples. 4. Season 8 Orian- He only appeared half way during Season 8 until after episode 13 Orian was never been seen again after that. It's very disappointing because they writer could try to get him involve in the rest of season 8. 5. Diaspora- Now there's a lot I want to make a complaint about Diaspro because her appearence in season 3, 6 and 8 never really make sense in the first place or why the writers haven't done anything about her. In Season 3, Diaspro team up with Valtor to get Sky back from Bloom by putting Sky under a dark spell to make him love Diaspro. Although the Winx broke that powerful spell at the end of episode 9 but after that Diaspro was never been seen again in the entire season 3 except that in episode 14 Sky revealed that Diaspro was banished from Erakylon and reassure everyone that they won't be seeing her again. However in season 5, Diaspro did return and the weirest thing is that she was seen in Erakylon instead not punished for her crimes and the King and Queen should haven seen Diaspro for what she is after what has happen back in season 3. In season 6, Diaspro team up with the Trix after they conqued Eraklyon Institute, I thought of the time that we get to see more of Diaspro in the entire season 6 but unfortunely that never really happen. Because after episode 6 she suddenly disappeared after the confront wit Bloom's sister Daphne and never been seen after this which doesn't really make sense in the first or if we ever learn that Diaspro have finally accept to Cloud Tower with the Trix or why she was sent to Eraklyon Institute in the first place. Then in season 8 Diaspro returns but still not punished for her crime from season 3 and 6 like if they never really happened in the first place. You see this is why the writers from the Winx Club series really screw things up with both the episodes and the characters too. They really need to think things through before they have released the Winx Club seasons.

I'm actually quite surprised that there are still who appreciates the Nick dub, I thought I was the only one XD.

FUN FACT THAT WILL LITERALLY ADD NOTHING NEW TO THIS VIDEO: The official/true name for Nickelodeon’s version of seasons 3-4 & the first 2 films is the “Atlas Dub”, named after the dubbing studio it was recorded at (Atlas Oceanic Sound and Picture in Burbank).
Honestly, my actual only problem with the Nick version is that they did 4 1-hour specials instead just re-filming season 1 and 2, and the fact that they made some of the characters lines sound less mature in certain epsiodes. Like wtf is a "forever girlfriend"?😂😂😂
I found season 2 of the 4 kids dub at my library and somehow found season 5 years later lol Nick was allows my favorite despite a few award lines. One thing i do remember about 4 kids is the the Halloween ep. terrified me as a kid.
I preferred season 6 to season 5 because the dialogues were better and the story was a bit of an improvement (on some parts). Granted, both seasons were quite choppy and frustrating compared to the first 4 seasons, but at least we can sort of agree that season 5 and 6 have some of the best voice performances, gorgeous updated animation, and pretty rocking background musical scores.
I admit this is weird but these fairies heal me from the pain, loss and sorrow of parting away from great friends I've made during my time in the US that I wish I could've stayed longer until my high school ends, and fortunate enough to rewatch them back on junior year of high school when non seniors had a day off due to their tryouts, just in time I was still suffering from the scars of losing great friends, and eventually seeing those fairies as reincarnation of the sweet friends I've made back then (since most of them are girls) and they're someone I could relate to, saving me from humdrum routine of bullying, mistreatment, hostile environment for making friends, as of there's a miracle. My days there changed my views on friendships that there are friends that are actually good and caring to me, not just bullies in disguise or cahoots with them, as well as somewhere I belong to and be proud of without being embarrassed or constant barrage of insults, which is why the Winx 6 has a special spot in my heart.
It's your opinion but, some of us think also that All the voices of the nick dub is fit onto their portrayal of the role. (*clear throats*) nick wouldn't pick the voice actors if they weren't good at that craftmanship (No doubt that your bias). (I'm just saying to make a point)

Well icy,s 4kids and rai voice actor is my fave
"I'm the unicorn of war and this has been a shitshow." ahh gold.
The Nick dub was perfect in my opinion, and was the best dub. All the voices fit literally every character perfectly. That "Forever Girlfriend" line will forever be silly though I don't why he couldn't just say "Will you marry me?" ☺💜
same i loved the nick dub!!
I’ve seen all three and I don’t remember which were which cause when I’d rewatch winx club I’d somehow accidentally watch a different dub each time. I remember being so confused when I’d play the episode and go “wait she didn’t say that...” They seem to mesh in my memory.
Yeas!
Yay someone else who agrees. Love the nick dub and all the voice's.
@@oskarjoe8556 Same!

Me: *cries*
Tbh, I liked the nick 100% better. I grew up with it so it’s only natural that I feel this way. I really liked the show until the sirenix era ended. I didn’t realize how bad winx club became until I watched the bloomix transformation. TECNA didn’t even have her iconic purple outfit, instead it was green and blue. I LOVED charmix, it really complimented the animation and all that. Probably my favorite transformation.
The problem with Bloomix isn’t about Tecna doesn’t have her signature color the design of Bloomix is by far the best in all transformations)
It is because bad writing, back flips, cheese cave, save your sister for the 10th time and Bloom being a Mary Sue (Like BLOOM-ix)
5:02 _that episode wooped my ass as a kid_
I actually thought thier nick voices were the best and trix's va's gave them personalities rather than boring cinilume ..... molly and alejandro were actually great
Yemin Channa same!
Same here! But then again, I might be biased since I grew up with Nick

Not to mention the lit af season 1 and 2 opening. That shit is a bop

I swear, maybe it’s nostalgia but every english dub pails in comparison. The voices are so damn perfect, dialogues is great and the actors are actually trying. The only strange thing is that Musas singing voice is obnoxiously not the same actor and you can really tell.
One of the voice actors also voice Sam Manson is Danny Phantom.
Grey DeLisle/ Grey Griffin
Me waiting for your WORLD OF Winx video's. "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH FEEL THE LIGHT INSIDE MY HAND THE POWER OF DREAMIX"
Aisha is her real name but IDK why they changed it
I remember watching the Winx Club back in 2006 and I still loved the series.
*forever girlfriend*
In the UK, Winx had already aired on Nick from around 2004-2006 with the 4Kids dub and splat logo then it came back to Nick in 2011 with the Nick dub and new Nick logo.
I actually grew up with this version, so despite its flaws, I watch it for nostalgia reasons
Fun fact: Jennifer Cody was Charlotte from Princess and the Frog
A new Winx Club video? Y E S
Amazing, as usual 😍
I actually prefer the Nickelodeon dub! I loved the voice cast for the Winx!
Never been a fan of Nickelodeon era s6 was somewhat OK others was basically trash but absolutely loving s8. First 4 seasons and s8 is now my favorite;)
I love the Nickelodeon version
S8 voice acting sucked in my opinion.lol
@@3rebella S8 voice acting was very similar to wow voice acting, which I like. I didn't like s56 voice acting bcz there Flora wasn't sound sweet anymore... It sounded like she was yelling... In my opinion. Lol
@@samiwinxtitanix5707 Im not talking bout the va voices im talking about how they make it not like they r just reading lines. and flora did sound sweet in nick. Her nick va is one of my fave
Does any one else notice how Flora's season 2 Rai voice and Nick voice sound EXACTLY the same? ☺💜
Rai Flora sounds older while Nick Flora sounds like that drama student from high school
@@ericafrauneopeniano2372 what do you expect? She's a punching bag after all-

Wow! So Grey DeLisle voiced a character named Headmistress Griffin before she changed her name to Grey Griffin.
It's just a coincidence, that's it.

I prefer the nick dub why? Because of its quality and design but it really almost killed winx

I actually loved the Nickelodeon dub. The forever girlfriend thing though... the forever girlfriend thing...
The nick voices sound best
I thought I was the only annoyed with Stella being the "fairy of the shining sun"
SHE IS THE FAIRY OF THE SUN AND MOON!!!!!!!!

Well I guess Nickelodeon wanted to changed it
I grew up with the Nickelodeon version so it holds a special place in my heart lol
valtors voice in the nick dub 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
I don't think you mentioned the VAs in the 4Kids dub, but my personal favorite Stormy was her second VA in that one. The one she had starting in like the second half of season 2? Her voice is so soft and raspy and I just loved it for her.
11:00 I don’t know if that was actually how the audio sounded in the Nick dub, it could’ve just been from whoever uploaded it cause the whole episode seems to have that problem
Fun fact: Kimberly Brooks also voices Jasper in Steven Universe !!
"Forever Girlfriend"
Nick:SIKE! YOU THOUGHT!
It's not just the story line in each episodes but Winx Club series characters that are unknown reason disappeared or never been explain what happen to them:
I just discovered this RUclips channel and I love your voice acting!!!! YOUR AMAZING at what you do, keeping doing what you do

Honestly the german dub is decent for a german dub lmao
I really love this version of Winx and I actually think that the casting director really did his/her job in bringing actresses that fits every character. The only thing that turns me off with Nick dub is the "forever girlfriend" scene and their dubbing of the 2nd movie...those are in the face palm and "smh" territory.
I'm actually quite surprised that there are still who appreciates the Nick dub, I thought I was the only one XD.

Honestly, my actual only problem with the Nick version is that they did 4 1-hour specials instead just re-filming season 1 and 2, and the fact that they made some of the characters lines sound less mature in certain epsiodes. Like wtf is a "forever girlfriend"?😂😂😂

The right translation of Selina is “Eldora was Boring” not “idiot”. Anyway, Good Job! I love your Videos. Hugs from 🇮🇹
I admit this is weird but these fairies heal me from the pain, loss and sorrow of parting away from great friends I've made during my time in the US that I wish I could've stayed longer until my high school ends, and fortunate enough to rewatch them back on junior year of high school when non seniors had a day off due to their tryouts, just in time I was still suffering from the scars of losing great friends, and eventually seeing those fairies as reincarnation of the sweet friends I've made back then (since most of them are girls) and they're someone I could relate to, saving me from humdrum routine of bullying, mistreatment, hostile environment for making friends, as of there's a miracle. My days there changed my views on friendships that there are friends that are actually good and caring to me, not just bullies in disguise or cahoots with them, as well as somewhere I belong to and be proud of without being embarrassed or constant barrage of insults, which is why the Winx 6 has a special spot in my heart.
Jennifer Cody as Darcy Is My favorite lol
It's your opinion but, some of us think also that All the voices of the nick dub is fit onto their portrayal of the role. (*clear throats*) nick wouldn't pick the voice actors if they weren't good at that craftmanship (No doubt that your bias). (I'm just saying to make a point)
