Bloody hell! The first Bathory reaction on youtube! OF COURSE I'm subscribing!
Their first albums were what is now known as "The first wave of black metal" (The inspiration to the second wave, which is black metal in the 90's, mainly in Norway).
Later on, the lyrical theme was changed from satanic to Norse related and the style was less "black metal", and much more heavy metal/thrash metal.
