UP Challenger

Between Wendover and Wells, Nevada, at Silver Zone Pass, With Pilot Peak in the background, and No Diesel Helper, 3985 is Working By Herself, with Very Loud Stack Talk! In "The middle of Nowhere" Nevada, this spot is hard to get to, unless you know the territory.
We see 3985 at first traveling North, then after rounding the "loop" she is traveling south, on her way West to the 1992 NRHS Convention in San Jose, CA.
I do believe the trip was advertised as "The Pacific Limited"
This was a once in a lifetime event for me, Never to be repeated again! 3985 is traveling West bound, with the crew of Steve Lee, Bob Kreger, Lynn Nystrom, and others. One of the Highlights of my life!
There were a few other fans and Railroaders up here today, you can hear one of them shouting with Exitement as 3985 rounds the curvature of Arnold Loop, he was an retired engineer, who probably ran Steam locomotives in his early career!
