I watched interviews with Hugh from the late '60s and then the mid-70's, and he is a guy of such great depth and intellect. This interview format really brings him down.

@@isaiakrozell2409 He intellectually grasped --- fully --- the social, cultural, and political dynamics at play in the '50s, '60s, and '70s. He was very conscious of what dynamics were permitting him to operate his business very successfully, yet at the same time was also aware of how he was in turn leading and shaping those dynamics. It was very intellectually gratifying to listen to him discuss these things back in those peak years. Here is an example: ruclips.net/video/TnyUIB1_Gz4/видео.html

Dave's other guests on that show were Shelley Long and Michael Keaton. Me and my friend were there and were asked as we entered if we would stand behind the stage area because there were more 'bunnies' than expected in the bleachers. So we ended up standing behind a cameraman. This show was a LA visit from Late Night, still on NBC and not filmed in NY. The bleacher audience got moved back into the parking lot after the show and my buddy & I were free to explore the entire studio afterwards. We ate at the commissary, said Hi to Dave in the parking lot afterwards and even swiped a cigar off of his desk. Sorry Dave, I was in my early 20's. Thanks so much for such a memorable wonderful and fantastic day!

Porn is so easily available that Playboy wouldn't be a thing today. Probably just a niche publication. Only fans is the current model, and it's often much more revealing. The Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial is a prime example of why it is so crucial that all parties in a dispute get their say in the court of public opinion.
